Ok so I’m still going to update on Friday with pictures and more in-depth info. But I want to mark 1/9/19 as the first day of 12/12 Also I’m removing the Zeus juice. No gain or change was observed after two weeks. I just cannot justify it. Updated with this weeks pictures and video. The stretch after 3-4 days is already apparent. I saw 2”-3” growth since flip. Previously growth had somewhat stagnated. So lots of tucking to do today.

Has a great taste not too strong of a buzz but just right night time. Cdb numbing effect… this was the smelliest plant ive grown so far. I wanted to make fem seeds but seems like it was unsuccessful using. Colloidal silver. I see one weird looking seed but don’t know if it’s viable. Callin this a half win because the bud is good . Will grow again when i have more space because i have a seed left. Thanks seedsman. Solid auto genetics send me more autos please lol

the plants are pretty low because i only got 1square meter coverage with the leds. The plants will stretch enough to fill the net and put on some weight. The video is from day 5 flowering right after i put the net above them, just enough to push the branches a bit open so the light reaches more bud sites.

She has heavy super glue terps! She was absolutely gorgeous, especially since I tried topping her for the first time...Nervousness... But the risk definitely paid off! The scales of the dried herb is good. Especially since it's one plant.

420Fastbuds- What up, fam. Weekly update on the Photoperiod Femenized strains. GorillaMelon,RainbowMelon, LemonManderian,LemonPaya,PapayaSherbet, and some FastFlowering GG4/Sherbet. For just putting them outdoors 3 weeks ago, they've adjusted to the heat like a dream mid 90's and tripled in size. To think there's probably 4 more weeks of veg. These are going to get big. I might have to raise up the greenhouse or make it a convertible. I'm still just feeding well water, probably 2 liters, each straight from the hose daily. All in all Happy Growing

Thank you. Growing cannabis is an art that seems to evolve as you learn it. While it may only take a little knowledge to get started, It seems that this may take a life-time to perfect (doubt I'll ever make that category, but I will certainly try). So thank-you to the community that Shares, Comments, Follows, and Likes. Your efforts in any of these actions make these journals a worth-while and perfect way for us all to learn. I personally appreciate it. Also a huge Thanks has to go out to Grow Diaries for making this community even possible. Your efforts to supply the data storage alone is more than enough, but you the fact that you dont stop there and constantly try to improve the experience even more makes this my favorite community to to share on. And then lastly, but certainly not least, a heartfelt Thank-you to Fast Buds for selecting me as 2nd place in a photo contest and making these seeds available, I'll try my best to honor the gift and opportunity to grow these. Your sponsorship in keeping the community active here is an in-valuable learning tool of its own. And then your branding/research helps give me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start 2/13/24 to 2/18/24 2/19 to 2/25 Veg Days 1 to 7 Week 0 to 1 Germination took 6 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 29hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. Something I would only attempt if they were both floating. They were,so leaving them that long they were able to crack open. I then placed both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 3 days (1 day too long in retrospect). I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. They popped out from the pods 1 day later but I gave them 2 days before transplant. Video: Incubator water level is key for rapid rooter pods to wick properly during incubation. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

Overall this plant was great to grow, she just grew and was happy doing it the entire time, pretty good yield off a plant that was only about 12inches tall. Seemed to be a lot more resistant to deficiencies then the other two strains this grow. Definitely a great mid-day Smoke!

🌸 Week 1 Flower – Super Silver Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) Grower: Dog Doctor Strain: Super Silver Haze Phenotypes: SSH #1 & SSH #2 Tent: 8x8 Shared Grow Space Lighting: Future Of Grow – Black Series 600W LED Control System: TrolMaster Hydro-X Watering: Hand Watering Pot Size: 11L Fabric Pots Medium: Super Soil with Aptus Holland amendments CO₂: ~700 ppm Day Temp: 31°C Night Temp: 25°C Humidity: 50% Soil Temp: 25°C Water pH: 6.1 Water EC: 0.6 Runoff EC: ~2.0 Water Temp: 18.5°C PPFD: 760–780 µmol/m²/s ⸻ 🌿 Early Flower Surprise Week 1 of flower… and I swear these girls are moving like they’re already in week 2. Pistils are out, floral sites are forming, and the stretch is starting with elegance. It’s possible they slipped into pre-flower during late veg without me catching it, they were so stable, compact, and lush that I might have missed the subtle signals. Either way, they’ve entered bloom with full confidence. Both phenos are incredibly similar in structure and size, making them a joy to manage. They’re compact yet big, stacking nodes tightly while still filling space. The leaf color is deep and uniform, the formation is textbook Haze, and the inner node spacing is perfectly balanced for light penetration. ⸻ 💧 Feed & Water Adjustments We’ve tweaked the recipe this week, retiring Aptus Start Booster and introducing Aptus Top Booster at 0.25 ml/L. Current Feed (per L): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml The soil is already enriched with slow-release Aptus pellets, which explains why EC in solution is lower (0.6) while the medium’s own EC is holding steady at ~2.0. They’re drinking well, 1.5–2 L per day — with irrigation happening around 25% dryness in the pots. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Conditions & Upcoming Changes The room is running hotter than ideal at 31°C daytime, 25°C night. RH is stable at 50%. CO₂ sits comfortably at ~700 ppm. A dedicated AC unit is on its way and should be installed next week, which will help dial temperatures closer to the sweet spot for flowering. Soil temperature is at 25°C, supporting strong root activity, while PPFD at the canopy sits between 760–780 µmol/m²/s depending on plant position. We monitor these numbers carefully to keep photosynthesis at optimal efficiency without stressing the plants. ⸻ ⚙️ Why We Measure Everything • PPFD: Ensures plants receive the right light intensity for maximum photosynthetic activity during each stage. Too low = underpowered; too high = light stress. • Soil Dryness: Prevents both overwatering and underwatering, protecting root health and microbial balance in living soil. • Soil EC: Tells us nutrient availability inside the medium, helping us adjust feed without guessing. • CO₂: Works in harmony with light intensity and temperature to push growth rates without causing metabolic stress. ⸻ 👑 Remembering the Queen Super Silver Haze isn’t just another cultivar, she’s an old school heavyweight, a cup-winning legend with a long legacy. Growing her feels like growing history. There’s nostalgia here for me, a personal connection to the magic this plant has delivered over decades. My hope is to see her express that classic SSH magic, the electric haze high, the silver sheen on the colas, and the unmistakable aroma that once ruled the cups. ⸻ 📸 Studio Shots & Natural Growth Of course, I couldn’t resist taking them to the studio this week. Under the lens, they shine, vibrant greens, symmetrical structures, healthy posture. No training yet, letting them express themselves naturally as they settle into flower. Next week, I expect to see stronger pistil development, initial stacking, and perhaps the first hints of stretch acceleration. ⸻ 🔮 What’s Next? • AC unit installation for tighter climate control • Continued monitoring of PPFD and EC • Watching for early resin development • Tracking stretch patterns for possible support netting These queens are just starting to show what they’re capable of. The road to the crown begins here. 🌿👑 💚 Dog Doctor 📣 Thank you for following the Super Silver Haze journey! Already in week 7 of our little experiment! They are all growing slower while prioritizing on thickening their buds. #3 is still and will for ever be a problem, though! But we have definitly learned a lot from our fine ladies so far. The smell is getting better every week, mostly consisting of a sour-apple-ring-aroma, which is actually kinda delicious! Adjusted nutrient intake by increasing the amount of Bio-Grow because #2 showed signs of deficiency by her leaves slowly turning pale. Watering every two days due to them living in that small 4,4L pot and probably having an dense root system by now. This is plant #1/3. She has developed the biggest buds so far, even merging some into one huge bud on a few branches.
