Gorilla Cookies is at about 10 weeks now. A surprisingly small plant but still looks like it will be a couple of zip. Buds are quite frosty and I'm getting lots of autumn colours. Maybe another week see how she goes.

The girls have entered week 3 and are growing slowly, but steadily. Raised the lights slightly since I felt the internodal space was kinda small. Fed them their first nutes. Will be just watering them for 3 days, and give them their seconds feed after that. Waiting to see how they respond to the feed.

I can keep track of the plant sizes, how they grew, how healthy they were, how easy they were to grow and how good the final product is👍 every plant was given the same strength of GREEN BUZZ LIQUIDS and I'm keeping track of which plants were happy with the suggested amounts and which plants seemed to want more or less🤘 Everything is now chopped I chopped 22 photoperiods at 125 days. I chopped 8 more at 130 days of growing. And the last 13 were chopped at 141 days of growing. I'm impressed with how good my mars hydro gear is. Always gets em nice and frosty and everything stinks alot. VERY HAPPY WITH GREEN BUZZ LIQUIDS. I've used lots of brands and this is my NEW favorite brand. And with it being vegan/organic, it makes it even better. Wednesday 1/10 start of week 4 haven't watered/fed since 1/6, and plants show no sign of needing water or food, I will be watering them with just pH-balanced water the moment the leaves show signs of thirst(leaves/stems drooping)and hopefully get rid of the yellowing and browning. the yellowing/browning seems to have stopped spreading since last week too, I thought it was nute deficiency but a couple of people on here told me it was nute burn/toxicity, and seems like they were right since it hasn't spread since. the 40 ppm measurement is my water before adding anything to it, some people were confused and thought it was way too low. I'll be measuring the ppm of the water after everything is mixed in the next time I feed them, I'll also be measuring the ppm and pH of the run-off water when the time comes all the plants are growing slow and steady

4/28/25 chopped at day 54 of flowering. Top buds have a nice amount of amber trichomes. was going to let her go another week but the threat of pests made me chop early but its okay shes ready. will update with final weight and smoke report in a week or so. 5/5/25 dried for 7 days and then jarred. i am finding that she was self producing fairly lowkey and successfully. balls and male parts with seeds right below. Probably wont continue with these seeds and i tossed the clones. This plant is white with the density of trichomes on her. She would probably test fairly high.

Week 4 updated Hey guys, so 2 out of the 3 shocked plants caught back themselves, they are doing great. I added 2 more plants so we're st 5 in total. I topped the big plant and started mainlining her. She's growing nicely and I hope to shape her really good. I'd start mainlining the other 2 probably later on this week and maybe by the end of this week I can top the 2 new added plants providing growth. I'm feed ing everyone Athena Grow and Core. Vegetative Week 3 This third week of vegetative growth was expected to be a turning point, but it turned out to be another difficult one. The plant did gain a bit of height, roughly a couple of centimeters, which shows that growth hasn’t completely stalled. However, foliage development remains poor, and overall vigor is clearly lacking. The plant is growing, but it doesn’t look healthy or strong. No additional watering was done this week, as the medium did not justify it. Humidity management appears to be a key issue. Under the dome, humidity was still around 95%, which is excessive. The dome has now been fully opened to allow better gas exchange. Removing the small support revealed another concern: the stem lacks strength, as the plant fell over once unsupported. This points to weak structural development and possibly limited transpiration and nutrient uptake. Condensation droplets were observed on the leaves, confirming that the plant is likely oversaturated with moisture. Excess humidity may be preventing proper respiration, which could explain the lack of nutrient absorption and overall stagnation. At this stage, no drastic action is taken. The focus is on observation, environmental adjustments, and understanding the root cause of the stress. This plant should normally be much larger by week three, so close monitoring will continue into next week. See you next week!

Day 58 Update: Watered both plants with 3/4gal until runoff. Water was dosed with Terpinator at 15ml/gal. I will start the flush on Plant #1 next watering. Added a stake and a plant yoyo to Plant #2 to support the heavier branches. Day 62 Update: Starting flush on Plant #1. Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Plant #2's water was dosed with 3/4tsp of Big Bloom, 1/4tsp of Grow Big, and 1/4tsp of Tiger Bloom. Plant #1's water is just plain pH balanced water. I will start watering every 3 days now. I will start the flush on Plant #2 after one more nutrient watering.

This is a cross I am testing. I am using a "hempy bucket" style grow. It is a drain to waste system that uses 80% perlite and 20% vermiculite as the grow medium. I will use these solo cups for the first couple weeks and up pot from there. I like to keep my growing simple and fairly inexpensive, I will use General Hydroponics for the entire grow except for the cal-mag. My intentions are to use the 10 week standard feed schedule made for these nutrients unless I run into some major issues.

Day 49 - Still giving the ladies just PH water with no nutrients trying to see if I can fix whatever is wrong with them😅 All in all the White Widow & Orange Sherbet plants I took individual pictures of are growing great & should have a pretty nice yield! 🌿 Permanent Marker — Final Report From Seed to Harvest, Numbers to Resin (Week 13 from Seed / End of Journey) ⸻ 🌟 A Closing Note Before We Begin This is the final chapter of the Permanent Marker diary. The cover is already done, the story is already lived — and now it’s time to put the numbers, the techniques, and the results on the table, clearly and honestly. If you’re just joining the diary here, I strongly invite you to scroll back and read the full journey. This grow was documented with love, transparency, and detail from seed to harvest — and it truly deserves to be seen as a whole. ⸻ 🌱 Quick Recap — The Journey Two phenotypes. Same genetics. Two completely different expressions. • Pheno #1 – tall, expressive, stretching toward the light, dense and compact buds, strong color expression late in flower. • Pheno #2 – shorter, more compact plant structure, slightly fluffier buds, deep greens, elegant and balanced. Both were grown organically, with patience and respect for the plant’s rhythm. ⸻ ⚖️ Final Harvest Numbers • Permanent Marker – Pheno #1: ➜ 249 grams dry & cured • Permanent Marker – Pheno #2: ➜ 212 grams dry & cured ✅ Total Final Yield: ➡️ 461 grams of dry, cured, high-quality medicine These numbers come from fully cured material, not fresh-dry or early-weighed flowers. ⸻ 💡 Energy & Efficiency The plants occupied only part of the tent space, using approximately: • ~300 watts total Considering the quality, density, and terpene richness of the final product, these are numbers I’m extremely happy with — especially knowing this was grown with an organic, low-input philosophy, letting the soil and biology do the work. ⸻ ✂️ Trim & Post-Harvest Handling Both phenos were handled exactly the same way, to keep comparisons fair: • Whole-plant hang dry • ~14 days drying • Hand-trimmed only • Trim Bin used for clean separation • Careful bud handling with fingers and scissors • No rushing, no machines, no shortcuts After trimming, everything was stored and cured in Grove Bags, labeled with Zamnesia tags for long-term organization and traceability. ⸻ Cure & Smoke After 2–2.5 months of curing, both phenos showed: • Very similar terpene profiles • Loud floral notes • Clean burn • Beautiful finger ash • Smooth smoke Different structures, same soul. ⸻ Extractions — Low Temp, High Expression This genetic truly shines when extracted. 🔥 Pressing Setup • Press: 7-ton press • Material: Flower • Bagged & pressed • Wrapped in parchment paper Press Parameters • Temperature: ~69°C • Press Time: ~4–5 minutes Post-Press • Cold cured for ~2 months The result was exceptional: • Extremely rich terpene preservation • Clean, expressive flavor • Resin texture evolved beautifully over cure • Everything we described during flower translated directly into the extract Permanent Marker is clearly a top-tier extraction genetic. ⸻ 📸 Documentation & Photography This diary also explored visual documentation deeply: • Macro photography • Focus stacking • Some images composed of 200+ stacked photos for a single final image • Camera used: Sony a6000 + a6700 + Sony full-frame gear + macro lens • Editing and photo stacking done in Affinity Photo 2 For those curious: Photo stacking is a technique where multiple images at different focus depths are combined to create one ultra-sharp image , some of the ones shared here are a combination of over 60 photos converted in a single one — essential for trichomes and resin documentation.
