It's been a while, I know, but been too busy during this festives to keep the diary up... Damn spidermites! I've try to control them every day but it was too long in bloom to do something for this little creepers! I've decided to cut them and wash the buds as in a video made by Mr.Cervantes seen on youtube. I've mix 120ml of H2O2 in 10Lts of water, washed the buds for a couple of minute, rinse'em and then hanging for a couple of hours with a fan that gently blowin on them. So, mates, this journey has ended, I've learned a lot of things during this real first indoor grow, and this also thanks to you and your hint. So they’re still stretching, I thought they were slowing down a couple days ago, but then I walked in today and realised shit, they’re still going, must have grown another 3 inches since yesterday. They have almost filled out the whole 6x4ft space, a little space by the door and in the corners, the floor is looking well shaded which I am happy about, as that means I am not wasting too many photons. I have an maybe another 10/15cm of spare vertical capacity before I’m going to have to start some emergency super-cropping. Starting to get a little anxious I still haven’t changed out the reservoir from 16 days ago, although my top ups have been the same composition as noted above. I think I will drain her out tomorrow which has a drastically lower ratio of nitrogen. I have to say, this Botanicare range is incredibly stable and forgiving once you get past mid veg. As for the genetics, she knows how to grow without little fuss. Maybe I have been very lucky, time will tell once I finish my next grow with a different strain. The plant at the back of the room is a little squat compared to the other two but maybe she will catch up. Waffled on a bit here, thanks for stopping by, have fun all!

Critical X Animal Cookies has been growing healthy lately under CD the Hortibloom Solux 350. My orginal solution mix was too strong as she was stunned from it. She was defoliated and roots trimmed up. Ready for anithercweek of growing, then likely switching light times for flowering. Last week the weather outside the window was terrible - it was raining and fog. This also affected the harvest - one cola was affected by mold! I managed to avoid extensive damage and I lowered the humidity in the tent. We continued, there was very little time left until the finish line.

2nd week of flowering: GH Cheese is growing steadily Increased Terra Bloom from 1ml to 3ml per liter. Same as for exodus I switched the position in the tent mostly to observe how the air circulation affects the growth.

Hello everyone! I promised to track this grow very closely this time and ufortunately life got in the way. Here is a quick sumup of the grow. First of all- One of the sour stomper plants unfortunately didn't make it. It died at about week 4. The main stem somehow had rubbed/broken down. That's why it was falling down. It was almost like a mini beaver had chewed it off at the point where the stem touches the riot rooter. At first I thought nothing much of it, maybe it hasn't been rooted in quite well yet or something. And I was constantly touiching it when watering, that made it worse. Soo the leaves were dropping and the plant looked very weak. Then I decided cut thr rapid rooters top layer and found out the severity of the problem. Tried to tape it up and other things, but it was too late. At the end it appeared all good as the remaing plants got so big the I had some space issue so I wouldn't have been able to fit another plant in anyway. At that time I finally made my self-draining saucers. I took me a while and a lot of effort, but finally they were ready and working well. I also installed the self watering system and flowering was starting. Pretty soon I started noticing weird leaf symtoms. Brown spots, different kind. Some plants had it more, some less. Sour Stomper looked pretty good throughout the grow. Mango smiles seemed sensitive and Strawberry Nuggs were pretty strong until the end. The grow was basically me experimenting with the setup- changing watering schedules , changing ppm, ph and all that stuff to keep the leaves looking healthy and it was very hard I have to admit. Probably my hardest grow in that regard. But somehow, the bud leaves remained healthy and the buds really fattened up good. I got away with an amzing 700G dry bud harvest which was def a new record from one grow. And the bud quality is very good too! Next time definetly no more than 4 plants as they got pretty big and I thought it was a little overcrowded. I was doing some good defoliation too. I should have defolited strawberry nugs more tho. Sour Stomper got some amazing bud development from top to bottom because it was was growing next to strawberry nuggets which were really small most of the grow. They actually took the most time to harvest even longer than Mango smile. Mango smiles were ready quite early. Sour Stomper was just in time! I topped sour stomper and both Mangoi smiles, left SNs both normal. Looking back at it, the way I grow them, Should have topped SNs too. Would probably have more space in the middle and longer side branches. Probably wouldn't have been as bushy! I followed the full Terra aquatica feed chart until the end. I was supplementing with CalMag a lot as I thought the symptoms could have been from a CalMag deficiency as this was my first grow with RO water. Overall a very challenging but good grow at the end. First time no mold problems. A record breaking yield for me. Basically surpassed the upper limit for all plant probable harvest sizes. Got good smelling quality bud. Very happy overall and will continue experimenting with Mephisto beans in the future for sure! I guess what I like the most about Mephisto is how close to description the plant is, very stable genes in that regard. Next time I will also have to start feeding plants higher PPM feed faster at the very start. and during flowering. But still not 100% sure what caused the leaf symptoms.

So Ugly Genetics, little plant that go in flowering at two weeks. 1/3 Seeds come out, GrowShop near home so bad quality articles. Microscopic root develop... do not use "eazy plug" as a seed's first pot... don't trasplant autoflowering strain. From 60 grams wet, 12 grams dry ...

End of week 10 and so close to harvest! I have finally decided to chop the Purple Lemonade because she has been ready for a few days now literally oozing out sweet sticky sugars and the trichomes were about 70/30 cloudy to amber ratio. The other plants are about 90/10 and will be chopping the ladies soon. Smoothest grow I’ve had. Also only the 2nd (Indoor) grow. It’s nice to see some progress and will always try pushing to grow better and frostier flowers. One love!

At 27 days old blue dream #2 showed sex. So week 5 of flower done. I didn't get to spend as much time as I needed with them this week and barely got 4 feeds in. They get a ltr or 2 of water in between or the res will be dry so they're drinking nicely. She has stopped stretching so hopefully it's all stacking from now. Waiting on a loupe so I can tell when to harvest because I think I harvested her mum too early being my first plant. Took some of the leaves off that were shading other budsites and adjusted some of the lst later in the week but she seems happy enough. She is still outside even though we've had some rain, I'm sure I've managed to get her under cover most times.
