Pretty straight forward strain. Recommend if you want something that doesn't need too much attention without sacrificing a good yield or quality.

Hey growmies, It’s been 31 days since flipping to flower, my tent is filled with buds. I think I managed to recover this plant, if you look back to week 10 and 11 you can see this plant was struggling, losing her dark green colour and yellowing. I raised my lights, getting PPFD from 1100 down to 850, I have also started feeding organic nutrients. The organic nutrients alone will feed my plants, but my soil needed a recharge, too. I suspect a lot of the soil bacteria started dying back, so to try and replenish the ranks I topdressed with worm castings, and created a compost tea using molasses and organic worm castings. Neem oil was not enough to get rid of the few thrips I had, so I opted for Spinosad, an organic bioinsecticide which is derived from the fermentation juices of a soil bacterium called Saccharopolyspora spinosa I decided spinosad was the best option because it’s organic and safe to spray in flower, neem oil can’t go on flowers, reducing its effectiveness. After just one dose of spinosad applied in a foliar spray, My garden is pest free, and it looks like the tea and organic fertiliser is also getting color back into my plant. The smell so far is mainly skunk, no oranges (yet) but it's clear this run is back on track. The trichomes are okay, I've had frostier strains, I can still see new calyxes growing, so she's definitely still putting on more weight, it might be to early to call anything I also included some pictures of the clones, they really show what a difference ScrOGging makes, since the clones were topped once and let to grow naturally

Esta semana fue generalmente bien, salvo por los intentos de supercropping (primer intento) en 5 apicales de los cuales 3 de ellos estan bien, me imagino el supercropping funciono bien, salvo en la de la Royal Gorilla que siento que la doble mucho que casi se rompe, pero no le paso nada menos mal jajaja. La dosificacion nutritiva fue la misma de la semana pasada agregando 1 ml de top max junto con el riego de biobloom. Hasta el momento todo bien. Saludos!!

Well its been a good run with this pheno , she's the biggest plant i've grown so far and has excelled in bud production litterally everywhere. The shogun nutrients seem to have worked really well with no deficiencies throughout the grow . I've stop using dragon force now and am just feeding ph'd water for these final few days. I am looking forward to sampleing soon my gelato has also done really well with some nice dense buds

The little one grows well and in good health, it is only a little smaller than what we imagined and other little sisters who are in the same conditions. We tried an inexperienced hst on a side branch to see what happens. We spray neem solution + potassium soap every 3 days for protection and lord grow nourishing foliar every 15 days for leaf nutrition and co2 protection.

Was really worried the whole time through out my grow as I am a Newbie and this was my first grow. Thanks for all the help provided by users on growndiaries. Much appreciated. Had great result from my solo cup. 12.6 grams of dried bud. Time for curing and let that smell build up. Fingers crossed will taste better but smells amazing. Zesty smell when crushed. More confident for my next grow. Hopefully will be more fun and relaxing growing.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Week 4 is now Here and running into some issue with bug spray really did a number on my girls. The XL Haze plant bounced back quick, Thank God for good gene. This week I will also raise the light a bit to get the girls to stretch a bit more. This week will also be the first day the girls get a some actual nuts

Start of week 3 today.. Only running 4 x250w hps due to high outdoor temps..max 33c low 23c in tent..topped all at the 5th/6th node. Ec 1.1 ph range between 5.9 and 6.1 ph perfect advanced nutrients..

GLF is doing great and her clones are safe. Im so grateful this one survived. She’s a good specimen. OLP 1 is doing great. I dumped the clone of OLP 2, she’s lovely and bushy but she was the runt of this batch all along and she’s even slower than the rest in flipping over to flower. Can’t wait to harvest her but I have better copies OLP 3 doing great under the old blurple with side lighting from the viparspectras. Gratitude’s clones flowering in cups are beautiful. Pothead’s first clone under 12-12 from rooting is doing great. Cute little sprout. 🌱 Increasing watering frequency and maintaining environment and watching and waiting.
