Purchased a new night which is 24 inches from the plant. The bottom two leaves have started to turn slightly yellow. The PH levels have not changed. I may have over watered, but I don’t believe I did. Not quite sure what is going on here. She has taken off in growth this week compared to the last. She is on a 18hour light schedule and taken out into the sun from 12pm to 6pm and then back under the lights. I am not overly sure of how much water is required.

I did a lot of defoliation work this week. Plants look very naked now. 😻 But more light for the buds 😛 = Less leaves = less water (-25%) The plants don't make many few new flowers anymore. Plants have nice fat buds, swelling and getting hard. 💪 Pistils turn brown.

Day 27..plants are doing well..new light has arrived and the girls have responded well..starting to see a pistol of two on the plant on the left..in the video..small mistake..I planted them and forgot to label them so not 100% sure which is which right now lol

WEEK 11) DAY1 Changed light schedule from 20/4 to 18/6 which will stay that way until harvest. Now I also start dropping the temperature 1 degree every 3-4 days. You don’t have to do this! I do this so the plants gradually acclimate to the lower temperatures like fall and then the beautiful different colors that come out from every individual Girl are different. The plants had been a little root-bound before transplanting them into the bigger pots, this showed in a yellowing of the leaves and a slowed growth. During week 5, now in the bigger pots, the plants are recovering quickly. The start to grow in a nice healthy green color and quickly get bigger in size. Since the light-mix has nutrients in it for appr. 2 weeks, I only add a little BIO NOVA Roots and BN-Zym to my 'FLEXITANK' reservoir. After adding the nutrients I measure the ph-value and see its 6,6. That is too high for cannabis-plant on soil, they cannot take up all nutrients at that ph-level. Therefore I use ph-min from BIO NOVA to decrease the value of the 100 liter nutrient solution in my reservoir to ph=6,0. At this ph-level the plants can take up all nutrients they need for a healthy growth. My two SANlight EVO4-120 LED-fixtures are hanging 75 cm above the plants and are tilted inwards by 11 degrees, following the recommendations of the lights manufacturer. The fixtures are dimmed to 60% of power (=1 green light ON on the dimmer) at this stage, so they plants get a nice stretch and grow into bigger plants fast.

Auto black Opium is growing good. She had a rough start, but is cruising now. Everything is looking good. I did some more lst on her and defoliation as well. Early skunk 2 and 4 still stretching a little this week. One top bud on early skunk 3 and 4 (really close to each other) show premature ripening, perhaps due to uv led being too close (pic. #4 and #5). Their smell are getting stronger every week but not as pungent as it could be. There is yet some path to go till the end, at least 2 more weeks.

Medusa 2/5 is starting to get fatter. I decided to Lollipop and remove the lower growth. Im curious to compare the colas and see if lollipopping really increases bud size. This plant really grows beautifully, two main colas in top from the topping, and all the other colas around the two main colas. I started giving green sensation PK booster this week I reckon another 4 weeks before harvest.

March 17, Day 76: As written I collected the last three plants. At the moment I got a partial of 224 grams from the first three plants and I think of doubling with the last three. Among the latter is the plant with the largest bud which obviously becomes my favorite. This time I managed to take photographs of the plants before cutting them. With these last three plants I got the most productive plant, the one with the largest bud and the one with the longest bud 😉 For a final report on this strain: The Gorilla by RQS is an excellent strain for anyone who loves a high THC content and I particularly recommend it to growers who pass for the first time from photoiperiods to autoflowering. You will grow very large and very productive plants very similar to photoperiodic ones. This strain branches out a lot and must be defoliated and de-branched. You can grow it well with the SCROG technique, but if like me you have no space problems you can also use the Sea Of Green technique. In conclusion I want to thank all the growers who have followed this my first diary to which I have a happy growth! First I have to say that I am very satisfied with the total harvest, from the last three plants I got 369 grams which added to the 224 of the previous harvest make a total of 593 grams. I started this diary with 8 Gorillas and 2 Cheese. 6 Gorillas completed their cycle in the same time frame, the 2 remaining gorillas showed a photoperiodic genetic predominance, one of them is in an advanced flowering phase while the last one after three months still shows only a few pistils. I'll probably kill her, and move on by putting new seeds in the soil. Unfortunately, where I live is illegal to grow marijuana, otherwise I would have simply moved outdoors, but I can't and must be ruthless. Regarding the two cheeses there is not much left at the end of their cycle and I started to give only water to one of the two plants. Good and happy growth to all! 😜

So far I am really happy. The ladies are definitely packing on some weight and swelling up nicely. Looking nice and frosty up close. I can't wait to upload more pics. 😃
