Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . This week I didn’t make any structural changes to the plant. Unfortunately, I noticed the presence of some thrips. As soon as I detected them, I treated the plant with SPRUZIT to stop the infestation early. Now I need to stay very alert and act quickly to fully eliminate the pests before the flowers start developing. Early control is key at this stage 🌿⚠️

Day 70 for these Fastbuds beauties Blackberry Auto: With dark purple buds glowing fiercely and a dank smell to match, this girl could make anyone's tent look amazing. During the last few weeks her buds have become incredibly dense and sticky. She is very short and thick in stature compared to the other plants I have in flower. I inspected her trichomes over the weekend and ive determined that she is pretty much ready for harvesr. I expect about 2 oz of high quality flower after dry/cure. Forbidden Runtz Auto I'm really blown away with the turnaround in this girl. She was mutated & so small I almost tossed her out during early veg; I'm glad I changed my mind. She stretched significantly between weeks 4-6 and I really wasn't expecting much from her. In reality, she has blown my mind... incredibly dense and sticky buds have developed in the past 4 weeks. She's got the zkittles smell mixed with a gassy terp profile.. I think the higher humidity through flowering phase really helped develop these dense buds. When I checked her trichomes over the weekend I determined that she will be cut down within the next 7-10 days. Process/ Environment changes: - Lowered my SF4000 roughly 20 cm to increase photon delivery to the canopy - Water/kelp meal only from this point to harvest - My temperature has risen due to change of seasons .. roughly at 27-28 deg C during daytime.. this is why I lowered my lights rather than turning them up - Defoliating any unnecessary fan leaves at every chance I get - I've had to use spools of twist tie to use to keep the branches from falling over from their own weight. I'll tie one end to the top of a branch, and the other to the stock. Not ideal but its working. Cheese auto dry/ cure update: After 10 full days of drying, I gave the buds a decent trim and put them inside glass jars where they will remain for many weeks. I add 2 way Boveda humidity packs to help regulate the relative humidity within the containers. I also use tiny hydrometer pucks to measure the humidity and temperature inside the jars. My ideal cure is at 62% RH

Strain was easy to grow. Had some herms but since I only have 2 plants I was able to pinch the balls off. Buds have no seeds and are a strong smoke. Really hits the lungs.

This is probably the final week of the full tent shots, these were taken a few days ago and at this point there is only 8 plants that have not yet been harvested. I learned a lot this run, tried some new shit, grew out my own crosses, dialed things in by getting rid of the light leaks and adding the heater so it was a success. The new lights out performed my expectation and the leaf strip might become a staple in my garden. The leaf strip made me nervous I wasn't sure how it would turn out but all of my buds are noticeably larger, the lowers are filled out and as dense as the tops and it saved space, water and nutrients. The lights could have contriuted to the larger buds but the other things made it well worth it. I have been vegging out the next run for a while trying to keep them from growing too much in 1/2 gal bags so there should be some interesting plants there stay tuned. * These came out pretty good, #1 was a lanky bitch and leans heavily toward my Ciroc cut but has these sweet lookin pink tips. I feel like the buds could have filled out a little more but maybe I will run it back and if they do fill out I will hit it with the MC2 pollen and make some fems. #2 is the mutant and is ridiculously frosty, usually when I have a runt it comes out decent at best but this one outdid itself. The buds actually came into shape pretty nicely, they are a little slim but the frost is insane. Some of the photos of #2 might look like I didn't take them compared to my usual photography style and that's because my girl took them, she is a little more artistic than I am but it was her first time using the new camera so some are slightly out of focus because the ISO was too low and there was a little camera shake. 11/29/22: Just switched her to flower about 4 days ago and started with bloom nutes.. was struggling with ph again past few days trying to level out again seeing some signs of lockout so flushed her with water and lite cal-mag she is looking better today.. she's really starting to stretch out hoping my tent is going to be tall enough with light hanging but we will see.. this is actually a pretty tough plant to grow but I'm gonna get her..

I gues it can be some micronute deficiency, maybe Ca? Im doing an extra watering wit calmag and 7 ph.
