Sweet Gelato

Luv2Grow Day 0 - Started germinating with a paper towel and ziplock on 8 Oct and taproot was finally out today, 10 Oct. Placed her into a jiffy pellet and the humidity dome and now just waiting for her to pop out. Day .25 - So far so good, she’s up and out of the soil and just waiting for her to fully open up. I’ll start day 1 once she’s fully developed her first set of true leaves. Day .5 - Still calling it day 0 but she does have her first set of true leaves but want a little more development with them then it’ll be day one. She’s got a few more days in the humidity dome so presoaking the soil for her pot today. Day 1 - Gonna go ahead and call today day 1 since her first set of leaves are out and I went ahead and placed her into her 3 gallon home and tent. Not much else I can do right now but let her go for now. Day 3 - All is going well and there’s not much I can really update. Not really giving her any water yet but just misting her once a day and keeping the glass over her for a bit higher humidity. Day 5 - She’s starting to get some nice growth going for being a youngin and she’s praying to the lights right now. Still keeping the glass over her for the humidity but will probably remove it soon so the fan can get to her and start giving her some strength. Day 6 - Nothing much to speak of today, just letting her do her thing for now. Continuing to just give her light sprays of water and keeping the glass over top of her and I’ll probably stop using the glass tomorrow. Day 7 - The end of week 1 and she appears to be doing really well so far. Still not much I’m doing with her, other than lightly spraying her and I’m gonna give her on more day with the glass over her and then remove it for good.

Luv2Grow Day 8 - Starting week 2 and she’s looking good growth wise and actually started giving her a little foliage spray using Technaflora Thrive Alive B-1 Green. Went ahead and took the glass off of her as well to try and get some strength in her stalk, she seems a little weak. Day 9 - Everything still going and looking good. Went ahead and gave her another foliar spray and snapped a few updated pictures. Might end up putting just a little bit more soil in the pot in a day or so to give the base of the stem a little more stability. Day 10 - Still looking good and growing healthy. I gave her another foliage spray today and also gave her a little bit of water a few inches around the base of her stem. Day 12 - Nothing much to really update today. Plan on hopefully starting some LST around the 3 week mark but until then just letting her go for now. Day 13 - Not much happening today but she did need a little water so added some in a circle on the edge of the pot so hopefully the roots will start reaching now.

Luv2Grow Day 15 - Starting week 3 and she’s not overly tall but she’s definitely got some nice lower growth going and decided to go ahead and start some LST, a bit earlier than I normally would but figure it shouldn’t hurt her. She still got moist soil so should be good for a bit still. Day 16 - She’s turned back towards the light but she’s seeming a bit small compared to my AK, started same day. I know no two seeds and strains are the same so not too worried. Just gonna let her go and may just let her go naturally depending on how the next couple weeks go. Day 18 - Nothing much to update with her today, seems to be doing well but a little small. Want her to get a little more vertical growth before possibly continuing with LST. Day 20 - Still pretty small but growing nicely overall. I did have to give her a bit of water today so maybe that’ll give her a nice growth spurt. Other than that, holding off on any training but depending how the next few days go with her growth, I may continue. Day 21 - Ending week 3 today and went ahead and tied her down a little, just enough for light to hit the lower stuff. It’s all kind of crammed below so hopefully the light will get them stretching and spread out a bit.

Luv2Grow Day 22 - Starting week 4 and nothing much happening. She’s still a bit small and think I’ll be done with LST for a bit or might just let her go but her lower stuff really needs some light so tucking as much as I can. Day 25 - Overall she’s looking nice and healthy but a bit small and don’t think I’m gonna really do much more LST with her so just gonna let her go for the most part. Still good on water but may need some in a couple of days. Day 26 - Well wasn’t going to do anymore LST but the lower stuff just doesn’t seem to be getting the light so tied down the main branch again so everything is opened up. She was ready for water as well so gave her enough to get a little runoff. Day 27 - She seems to of recovered nicely from tying her down again yesterday. I tied out another branch and hopefully the rest will start stretching a bit now too so I can get them tied out. I did also remove about 4 larger fan leaves to keep her opened up, we’ll see how she recovers from that. Day 28 - Ending week 4 today and not much new happening. I did tie the main branch down again and lower stuff is wide open. I shut off one of the COB lights to see if she’ll get some more stretching happening, thinking having both on, might of been a bit too powerful early on.

Luv2Grow Day 30 - Into week 5 now and ended up tying down another branch or two. She seems to like having the second light turned off and is starting to stretch a bit more now. She was ready for water so gave her just about a half gallon of plain pH’d water. Day 31 - She recovered well from the little bit of training yesterday and did a little more with her tonight. Starting to do some nice stretching and will continue working with her till I’ve got her shaped the way I want. Day 33 - Looking like she’s starting to finally stretch out and up a bit. Gonna give her a little more vertical growth going then I’ll start tying her down again. Day 34 - She’s starting to get some nice growth going now but still don’t think she’s gonna be that big of plant but so long as she produces some nice buds, I’ll be happy. I did remove a couple big fan leaves that blocking some of the bud sites in the middle of the plant. She also received her first dose of bloom nutes today and all is going well. Should be able to continue a little LST tomorrow. Day 35 - Ending another week and I’ll call the new week, the first week of flower. I did a lot of adjusting to the pipe cleaners and have her wide open now. I did tie the main stem down again too to try and get the canopy nice and even. She’s definitely came a long way in the past week or two, I didn’t expect her to be the size she is now, so I’m happy overall.

Luv2Grow Day 36 - Starting week 6 and the first full week of flower and all is going great with her. I’m done with the training for a little bit and would like to get a bit more vertical growth going before I do any more training. She’s good on water for a bit and just put her back into the tent and tucked a few leaves to keep the bud sites open. Day 37 - All going well and not much to update other than I tied the main bud site over again to try and let the rest of her catch up and keep the canopy even. Other than that, nothing new happening. Day 38 - Soil was pretty dried up so she got a little over a gallon of plain pH’d water and went and did a little adjusting to the tie downs. Other than that, all is looking good and is doing a lot better than I thought she would be, compared to 2 weeks ago. Day 40 - Nothing much to update tonight, just took her out for some updated pictures and gave her a quick once over. Day 41 - Was going to a little adjusting on the pipe cleaners today but the branches are starting to get pretty stiff so don’t want to take a chance of snapping something and causing stress. She’s good on water and should be another few days before she’s ready. Day 42 - The end of week 6 for this girl and she dried up quicker than I was expecting so she got a round of water and nutrients today. Don’t think I’m gonna have to really do anymore training with her, she’s pretty opened up and everything is getting equal light. Just waiting for her to really start stretching and filling in with buds.

Luv2Grow Day 43 - Starting week 7 today and not a whole lot to speak of. She’s not really getting much taller but she’s definitely starting to bud up nicely and getting some nice frost going. Day 45 - Nothing to really update today, she’s doing great and bud development is looking great and so is the frost she’s putting out. She should be ready for some plain water tomorrow. Day 47 - All going well and just did a little bit of leaf tucking and some updated pictures. Overall she seems to be developing nicely and bud sites are looking great. Day 48 - Gave the girl a little over a gallon of water today and just for the hell of it, checked the pH of the runoff and all seems good, right at 6.7. Day 49 - The end of week 7 and she’s doing good. She’s obviously not gonna be a big girl but she’s already getting nice and fat so should produce some gorgeous buds. She’s putting out a little bit of a sweet smell right now but not too strong.

Luv2Grow Day 50 - Starting week 8 and not a whole lot to update but she is getting frosty as hell. She’s drinking a ton of water so should be ready in another day or so. She’s not huge but looks like she’s gonna be a nice, fat and compact girl. Day 51 - All still good and fattening up each day still. Not much that I did with her today other than check the soil for wetness and should be ready tomorrow. Other than that, just tucked her leaves and placed her back into the tent. Day 52 - She’s finally just about dried up and gave her a little over a gallon of plain pH’d water, next time she’ll get a round of nutes. Other than that all is looking good and she’s coming along nicely. I’ve got nothing to complain about with this grow so far, other than she’s a bit smaller than I was hoping for but probably something I did early on. Day 54 - Nothing much to speak of today, just watching her fatten up. Tucked a few leaves and put her back into the tent and all is looking good. Day 55 - Just took her out for a once over today and she’s looking good. Tucked a few leaves out of the way and might do a little defoliating with her tomorrow, even though she really doesn’t need much. She’ll also get some nutrients and water as well. Day 56 - The end of week 8 and thought she would be ready for water but gonna give her another day then will give her some with flower nutes. Other than that, just did a little adjustments to the leaves to keep her as opened as possible. Also kicked on the second AGLEX light to get her as beefed up as possible.

Luv2Grow Day 57 - Starting week 9 and she was ready for a feeding of water and nutes today, so she got almost 2 full gallons. I did do a very light defoliation with her today as well and she’s definitely liking the second AGLEX light turned on and seems like it’s helping her plump up quite a bit. Day 58 - Just trimmed up a few of the larger fan leaves hanging in the way of the buds and just letting her go otherwise. She’s frosty as hell and gonna have some fat and dense buds when all is said and done. Day 61 - All going well still and looking like she’s down to the last couple weeks as well. Will start monitoring her trichs from here on out. She wasn’t quite ready for water yet but should be tomorrow. Flowers are looking amazing as frosty as hell. Day 62 - Not much I need to do with this girl anymore, just feeding her when she needs it and that’s about it. She did get about a gallon and a half of plain water today and it’s looking like she’s only got a couple weeks left. Day 63 - The end of week 9 and just letting this girl do her thing and her trichs will tell me when she’s ready. The buds are nice and compact already and figure they can only get better the next 2-3 weeks. Not much I can or really need to do with her right now.

Luv2Grow Day 64 - Starting week 10 with this girl today and she’ll probably need another round of water tomorrow. She seems like she’s coming down to the end and might have about 2 weeks left. Looking at her trichs, she’s got a little bit of amber in there, mostly cloudy but a few clear mixed in as well. Day 66 - Didn’t have a chance to update yesterday but did give her 2 gallons of water with 5ML of Magical and 80ML of Sugardaddy to try and finish her up strong. She’s got some nice tight and compact buds going and can’t wait till she finishes up. Didn’t do much to her tonight other than check the trichs, which is all milky with a few amber in there, didn’t see any clear. Day 68 - All looking good still and she’s still got a bit of time left looking at her trichs, still some clear mixed in there but mostly milky with a few amber. Most of her pistils are still pretty white as well but she’s getting close. Not gonna need any water for another couple of days either. Day 69 - She’s starting to finish up nicely but as of right now, she’s probably got another 7-10 days left. There’s not very many clear trichs mixed in but enough for me to let her got another week. Other than that, she’ll get some water tomorrow.

Luv2Grow Day 71 - Starting week 11 today and this could possibly be her last week or maybe one more. Still has a bit of white pistils but they’re fading away. I’m mostly focusing on the trichs though and still still a few clear in there but not many. She’s probably at about 90-5-5, milky, amber, clear so I’m just gonna keep an eye on her for now. She did get 2 gallons of plain water tonight and I’ll check trichs again when she’s dried out. Day 73 - Might give this girl another full week but not sure yet. Waiting for her to dry out and still checking the trichs and she’s not ready just yet, colors are amazing though. Day 74 - Nothing much new today, just letting her go until the trichs are to my liking. Will probably give her another round of water tomorrow and thinking she’ll get the axe in about a week or so. Day 75 - She’s not quite ready for the chop yet so gave her a gallon of water with 40ML of Sugardaddy and 2.5ML of Magical for the final 7ish days. Day 76 - A lot of trichs amber’d up last night and looking like I’m going to give this girl a couple more days, gonna wait for her to dry out then will chop her down. Other than that, she looks and smells gorgeous. Day 77 - The end of week 11 and looking to chop her a few days into the next week, probably New Year’s Eve but we’ll see how she looks and may end up doing it before hand.

Luv2Grow Day 78 - Starting week 12 and she’s not going far into this week. Will end up giving her the axe on Thursday so she’s got one more full day to live. Trichs are about 25% amber now so she’s definitely ready.

Luv2Grow Grow was very easy and she pretty much took care of herself but I do think I stunted her early on which kept her fairly small but the buds are very fat and dense. Will do some more updates and the drying process goes.
