Aug 3: this is a very promising looking plant. She’s quite big and flowering quite quickly which is a great combo. She was the exact same size as my other photoperiod until the start of flowering two weeks ago, and now she’s bigger and flowering faster. Humidity is quite low during the day so I’m continuing to mist the leaves a few times during the day. Did a foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate this morning. Aug4: did a major defoliation to remove small lower buds and stuff that was growing in toward the centre. This improves light penetration and air flow which are super important but also forces the plant to direct the energy where you want at the main colas, and not wasted down below. Aug 5: lots of buds forming quickly on lots of decently uniform colas. Should be good. Big rain last night but plants were in dark garage. Watered this morning with 27 C water that had blackstrap molasses, soluble seaweed extract, Monster Maxx and Cal-Mag. Did all four on the weak side of the standard concentrations listed and just 1L used on the plant. Much cooler today so she won’t need as much water. Aug 6: added UV lights from AC Infinity. Very well deigned and manufactured like all of their gear. These are indoor lights so fair weather use only. This far north (53 N) we run out of strong sunlight before it gets too cold in the fall. Idea is to use UV lights for a couple hours each day centred at peak sun (currently 1:39 pm). UV light is the main environmental limit on THC and this will make the light in Edmonton in September more like California in July. Should have a big impact this far north. At other end of light spectrum, I use Forever Green Indoors (FGI) 730 nm far red light as a bloom booster. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes for the far red light. Barneys Farm Cookies Kush Organic soil Grow Diary Update 16th Feb 2020 Well the stretch has definately started and there are visible pistils showing at the nodes so my girls are Flowering!! Yay Both Girls are looking good although plant 1 has distinct red leaf stems that I am not sure about. It could be a deficiency or phenotype trait?? Feeds this week were as follows Day 1 Superthrive using the 1ml/3Litres ratio I made up 10L and gave the plants 5 each. Day 2 Nothing at all Day 3 Water only Day 4 Nothing at all Day 5 Water only Day 6 Seaweed solution and mycorrhizae Day 7 (yesterday) water with a tiny amount of liquid potash Also yesterday I posted a question regarding whether or not I should repot the girls before they grow any further. Well the general consensus was to go ahead and Transplant them so in the cool of the evening I went ahead and moved them both into bigger pots. I used all of the left over super soil from my auto grows earlier this year. Plant 1 got moved into a 75 Litre grow bag and plant 2 went into a 40L standard garden pot. So that means plant 1 is in a container almost 4 times the size of the one it was in whilst plant 2 is now in a pot twice the volume of the original container. I chose plant 1 for the bigger pot simply because the roots were definately starting to become rootbound in the smaller pot. Amazing Plant! Highly Recommend to any grower that loves an indica strain! Strong bushy plant with big dense colas! Very heavy wet weight and completely covered in trichomes. Cant wait to see the trimmed up results!

The babies 😍 have a beautiful look and colors, they seem quite filled with resin. Now the drying phase of 15 days begins after which I will complete the trimming and weigh it. By eye I can say that it will be about 100gr per plant

Day 80, 2nd of December 2020: Hi there! Ladies are cool everything is alright. In one week buds strated doubeling and the developement is dope haha. The 2 Zamnesia ladies are pretty Gelato is so nice bushy and the smell is great as well. Kalini Asia will be a green pheno I think and she my be hermied a bit on me.... I am still waiting to see I see some strange develepement lets say. Sweet Seeds girls are dope unfortunately Red Mandarine and Tropicanns poison don't show any sign of colouting yet but it is okay even if they green phenos.... It may happen in the end of the flowering cycle let's see. Basically that's all I wanted to share. Oh yes... this one: All good the lamp is now on 11 hours and off 13 hours. Every week 15 minutes was taken off and after 4 weeks here we go. Strated 12/12 and now 13/11 wanted try to imitate the nature as the light days are getting shorter. Fertilization has changed no more epsom salt from this week and I will stop giving nitrogen as well from next week. Great job Sweet Seeds and Zamnesia! Nice genetics :) Lovely plants!

I've bn a bit late with update but all well ,I flushed 2 plants for 1 week and now just 1 lsd left,,,,I managed to get some ATA-XL so hoping for denser buds on the last one I'll give the overall harvest weight at the end,happy growing growers👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Noticed some slight Nitrogen deficiency so I removed 20l of the tank and added 20l with Yara Kristalon Blue 19-6-20 + Calcinit A+B and it seemed to do the trick. Went low on ORP this week. Saw slight tip burn so I'll lower EC next week seems that ~2000 is the sweet spot. Did some defoliation as usual whenever needed, never noticed any stunting in any timelapse, also did a little lolipoping. She definitely came back on top after laying a good foundation with the roots growths. Canopy could be more even and she isn't spreading out properly but it is OK. Values are average of the day. 2/3 weeks to complete !! Almost Done ✔️!! To be honest I was expecting better result but some plants looks amazing !

Starting to ripen up probably another week or two on gorilla glue and strawberry pie the grapefruit is just now packing on bud so I’d say maybe 4-5 weeks left on grapefruit. Little bit of amber showing on the gorilla glue. Mostly clear yet on the strawberry pie. Overall happy with gorilla glue and strawberry pie. Grapefruit not so impressive yet. The smell is quite strong at this point and is getting stronger by the day with the really sweet notes of strawberry and the earthy medicinal smell of the gorilla glue.

What can a say; it’s been a ride! Seven months of love, hard work and just being a good shepherd to these ladies. These giants were an incredible experience, they taught me a lot! What separates the good from the great is the ability to persevere, to be dedicated to a vocation morning noon and night, on top of the work we do for money. There were days that I was dead beat from working in the hot sun, it was a very hot summer here where I live; still I dug deep and loved these plants each and every day, and at the end it showed, and payed off completely for my efforts. It’s a bittersweet moment to harvest these illustrious and incredible plants; I sought so much therapy, purpose and love in these beautiful beings that I nurtured, they are a physical representation of my love and care, and they are beautiful beyond words; I see the product of my love manifest itself physically in these beauties. They couldn’t have made me more proud; this was a monumental grow, the kind of grow that shows you what your made of, and then blows that precedent away. I am honoured to call this crop my own 🔮💜

About day 38 i am just realizing that i am stupid and been feeding the biogrow for cocoa coir 🤦‍♂️ way iver nuting with soil it says never to go over 1ml/L So i will be flushing for at least 1 or two waterings. Looking for the tip burn to stop spreading and the tips to not look like there clawing

Buds are thickening but i’m not sure if starting to flush or continue to fertilise, maybe I should continue to fertilise just a few days more and then flush. Any advice?

6 seeds auto speed bud from seedman. Using peat pellet to germinate and directly buried into 2 gallon fox farms o ocean forest soil. Using RO water. So will need to add cal mag. After a few nodes grow. This is my second grow. First grow a GSC clone. is currently drying in the same tent. Using a iffy method. But the plant had a lot of deficiency’s and was not worth taking care of 100%. Lights were switched back to 18/6 after harvesting the photo.

2-25 Did a full water with run off. Gave 1/4 nutes made 2 gallons of water. PH 6.2. Ppm 580 Silica 1.5 ml Micro 4 ml went a little under just to be safe. Trees none Flowers 6 ml Frosty Nugs 5 ml Blast off .075 ml Bud Strength 5 ml Run off PH was 5.8 Run off ppm was over 4400 Feel a big fresh water coming 😂😂😂 Sheesh 3-1 1/4 nutes, no trees. Run off ppm 950 ph 6.4 So far so good.

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.
