The sisters have fully recovered from the beating from the tropical storm. Nearly 90 percent of pistils are red and the harvest window is approaching. Slight bit of nute burn on Patti but the others are loving it. Water only for the rest of the run. This week the ladies will have some cold stress training.

Man this lady is moving quick. Her bud development is supercharged. Her engine is roaring as she explodes her way through bloom. Buds are already getting solid and are very structured. Trichomes are piling on at a staggering rate. Shes gunna be one frosty lady! She got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. That will basically wrap up her treatments ...possibly once more with lost coast. Upped the pk intake as she is blooming strong now. Gotta keep her engine well fuelled. Response was stellar. Pistils finally starting to really show, expecting her to really fatten up the coming weeks. Having some troubles keeping the humidity low, as I have a super budget little dehumidifier. Getting a bigger one would be about 100€ but I'm not sure if that's worth it, if anyone knows more please lemme know :)

Bonjour a toutes et tous (cette semaine j ai eu un petit soucis sur une melon gum (bud rot) alors que je ne dépasse jamais 50% d humidité mais je pense le problème viens d autre part (les têtes ont triplé de taille en une semaine et vue qu'elles sont en contact c est pas top pour la circulation d air j ai donc enlevé les 2 têtes et désinfecté comme il le faut , j ai également monté un gros ventilateurs en plus ) Autrement tous ce passe plutôt bien d ici fin de la semaine on passera au flusch voilà voilà les amis j ai enfin trouver la force et le temp de sortir les plantes de la tante (hors mis les 2 plus grande melon gum / et cherry cookie) mais promis je les sortirais très vite.

For the rest of week 3 light was at 60% @ 30” off canopy. Monday she snapped out of my mistake and went back to 75% @ 30”” off canopy. Set me back a week for flower . DLI is 20-24, PPFD 320-400. This seems to be the sweet spot for her in my opinion. VPD is on point 1.2- 1.4 😎 Friday I decided to give the lady a Foliage Spray with Silica and a little Cal-Mag to help get ready for more light. Was at 25%@30” while she was drinking the spray. After I kicked it up to 85%@30” 400-450 PPFD, DLI 24-26 👌 see if she can take it lol. Nope she did not like the extra ☀️, back to 75%@30” until flip, this is definitely this strains sweet spot for veg. Day 107 and it’s the ladies have been flushed in clean water for a week and we are preparing for harvest. Excited!

June 13th - Day 22; fed 1L yesterday 16th - fed a full meal; 1L - extended another section of LST. It can now grow as it wants 17th - taking some urgent action because of an ailment that had fallen on Californian Snow, that now seems to be affecting Zamaldelica. After being fed yesterday, Cali Snow had all of her Fan Leaves wilt and dissolve sort of, within 4 hours. She was flushed and it seems a Low pH was the final element to clear from the run-off. This morning Zamaldelica fan leaves are sporting Orange Spots. I’m throwing 6 gallons of pH’d water (6.5) through the substrate right now thanks… ! - looking to put some of the blame on me, for allowing these plastic pots, with limited holes, to be the final resting place for these gems… should have AT LEAST been into Fabric or Smart Pots DoH. When I picked them up yesterday, that container was physically Hot. Not dry, but man the soil portion was warm. - glad I flushed, did not see this one coming. Sure, it was a Heat Warning, weather system, but things did not dry-out. - also moving Zamaldelica into a 5 gal fabric pot. Last soil in the house, kinda worked perfectly. Sorry Californian Snow, maybe too far gone. Something became acidic in the substrate after the volume of that meal, reached the lower levels, and an accumulation of Nutes/additives. It reacted - I knocked off any loose soil from the original Pot/rootball and put 60% of the plants core into a DynoMyco laced 6gal bag. - caption for the video; been one of those days…

She was switched to flower this week, and is starting to stretch through the net. I decide not to let her grow any taller and rather save some time and let her stretch directly through screen, she seems very happy with the nutrients and will continue with this mix until she shows real signs of flower. And then will start the flower solution.

I decided to use LST on Californian snow and no touchies ( maybe a little ) on West Coast OG. Californian Snow is bigger. They both look healthy but i am a bit worried about leaf colours ( is visible on videos), thinking of nutrient overdose.

This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.
