After the shock of all gelatos showing male signs, we got our shit together and removed all balls !! Zkittlez is getting out of tent for her black period tomorrow, giving our bigger gelato more space !! We still have one week and a half before Zki2 leave the tent and let the girls ride !! D28 - The first day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the start of the third week for #1. I gave both girls around 2.5-liters of the compost tea I started brewing yesterday, and for once, I remembered to check the pH and adjust it to 6.5. Yay, progress! D29 - Today, it was finally time to top the second girl. She was already seven nodes tall, around 30 cm. First, I got everything together as I prefer to have what I need before starting instead of running around looking for something mid-process: Snips, a couple of glasses with water to put cuttings in, bonsai wire and soil staples, clone-gel and a new razor blade, dwc cloner, peppermint oil and Q-tip. After cleaning the snips thoroughly with alcohol, I topped her just above her fourth node. I'm going to mainline her, so I removed everything below the fourth as well. She went from a lush lady to a stick figure! I secured her remaining two branches using staples and wire. The final touch in the tent was to put some peppermint oil on a Q-tip. Bugs and pests are attracted to the scent of injured plants. On the other hand, they hate the smell of peppermint oil, and it should deter the critters even though the girl smells like a buffet. I bought this tiny DWC system for a few bucks off Amazon a while back and want to try it as a cloner. (The primary purpose of this cloning project is to practice taking clones, plus see how well this hydro system works.) I trimmed each cutting before lightly scraping the stalk, making a fresh cut with the razor blade, and finally into a net-pot. I had planned to put some clone-gel into the water, but it turned out that the bottle had gone bad since last time. Oh well, pure water for this test run then. Finally, I cut up all the removed leaves and stalks into small pieces and distributed them on top of the soil in the pot. Have to keep that nutrition cycle going. Plus, like this, I don't have to worry about safely disposing those telltale leaves. Win-win in my book. D34 - The final day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the end of the third week for #1. #2 has recovered great after her first topping, and I'm planning on doing her second topping tomorrow, six days after the first. #1 is a week behind so I'm planning on topping her in a couple of days as I want to make sure that her fourth node is at the same height as the fourth node on the second girl. The clones are looking really healthy but no roots yet but maybe that is to be expected considering that I'm using no rooting hormones.

Welcome back to Colorado Gnome Grown. This week the gnome’s have been busy with the irrigation system. The water is stored in a 5g container and I mix the feed in it and it gets feed every time I water, which is twice a day for 1 minute, or until the plants drip. The plants are setting on a rack so that the water can drain away from the plant and into a tray. The plan is to buy Big Buds the first of the month to keep on hand to finish up in 4 weeks. Cookie Monster is 4in today and Noel is 2in, and both are starting to grow their bud site. Next week I will Top and defoliate for the first time. One day high of only 72 and low of 44 while most of the others in the mid-80s and low in the 50s. Most of the days were sunny and there was one day of thunderstorms. I can see with the erratic conditions; she has not grown as full and leafy as she should have by now. She only grew about an inch and now 6" tall. I fed kelp and TPS1 once this week. This is my first ever grow and i have learned a lot and will forever be learning but one thing I’m going to do is upgrade my lights I made the mistake of going as cheap as possible when I should just shell out the money cause despite this genetic not being a big yeilder I’ve seen someone complain and say they wish they had an xl version when they got a whole oz from their plant I’m guessing I got like 4gs if I’m lucky but it was my mistake you live and you learn, much love❤️

This week add nutrient for fish hormone and Myco+ BCN looking good growing. Pineapple still small and shorter, But looking a bit better grow rate.

Shes chunky as nugs are solid shes got a nice fade leaves dropping and turning yellow been in flush since 17/11 ran 8l through her and will be watering with 2ml of terpinator to 1l water at 2l per day for the next 10/14days she smells really sweet a little earthy aswell really pungent now trichs are near enough all cloudy with some ambers should be nice by the time flushing ends . tied a few of the top buds up for support during flush will get some better pics first plant in the video is the cut the next is 2 gorilla then blue mystic two further to the right are gsc and another cut last one in the vid is the critical thought id put a little vid of the whole room thanks for reading happy growing guys
