Week 15: July 5 2020 - July 11 2020 It was insanely hot again this week. The plants were drinking pretty much daily and they needed it. Finally got a break in the weather with some rain this weekend. Plants are thriving and super healthy.

This week I started her LST and bent her top over as far as possible without snapping and locked her in place. I use soft wire "Gear Ties" sold in the hardware section of most places. I got mine at Home Depot. I highly recommend these for anyone serious about Lst. I kept her in this position for about 4 days before adjusting placement and pulling the main top back down below the lower branches. I have been maintaining the same feeding schedule "week 4 hydro" 3/4 str main nutrients, 1/2 str Open Seasame. She started showing preflowers on me even though it's been in an 18/6 light cycle. So that's why OS and week 4 feeding was opted. Even though the plant was technically 2 months old, she's only been fed and treated right for 2 weeks now. So week 7 from seed, I started at the week 3 schedule.

I use unfertilized soil as a base. And I add organic nutrients from GreenHouseFeeding that I mix at the top of the pot (35Grams BioGrow 14Grams Biobloom) Then I water each pot with 1L of water. I use tap water. Her roots started coming out of the pot and was going into the gravity fed system about 5-6 days ago, trimmed her roots with a scissors slightly and elevated the pot for a few hours to air prune and is showing no signs of stress! I did a feeding today, I will be giving her 2 feedings a week for a few weeks during the beginning of flowering. Humidity has gone down, have been managing it with keeping the door open to the room and added a extra humidifier.

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. Day 91, plants #1&3 are still maturing and not ready to be chopped. They are definitely running longer than I expected. I have plant #2 in jars and curing already. Total dry weight for her was 98g or 3.5oz!!! Definitely more than I was expecting. I was hoping for 1.5oz so I’m definitely a happy guy about that!!! Update #2: upon further investigating, looks like I’m going to start flushing the last 2 plants in a couple days when they go through all their current nutrients. They’re about ready to come down. I harvested last two plants on day 98. Currently drying. I will update with final weight in a couple days.

Flowering💐💐💐 Getting Fat!!

In week 12 the humidity inside my HOMEBOX-tent is unfortunately still VERY HIGH (maximum of 73%). The combination of big buds and high humidity is BAD...I fear bud-rot. The 12 AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS continue to THRIVE! They all have a healthy green color and produce buds all over. All branches have formed HUGE colas at this point...its AMAZING to see how big the AK-47 can get. Every watering I add MILLS-nutrients following the feeding schedule of Mills from their website and the plants LOVE IT. The trichome production is INSANE, they are FROSTY AS HELL NOW! 😎 I cant wait to try this amazing smelling strain and see how good it works against my chronic back pain. The VERY STRONG aroma reminds me of Sandalwood end is THICK and HEAVY at this stage of flowering. The two SANlight Q5W-Gen.2 LED-lamps are doing an EXCELLENT job until now, the spectrum is PERFECT for cannabis. Both LEDs are dimmed to 100% now in week 8 of flowering, because FULL-POWER mode is needed for abundant flower production.I LOVE THOSE LEDs 😍 and I can only strongly recommend to every grower to give them a try!

Drying and curing always the biggest challenge for me due too constant climate change in my area, living near the mountains have its flaws too..🧐 Oh well still love growing..✌️
