WEEK 5 8/16- Alrighty! Start of week five and all the ladies are in flower and starting to look sexy as hell! Even the Crystal Meth #2 in the SOHUM Living Soil that had a soil ph of 5.2-5.4 and 4.2 ph runoff on a 4 1/2 gallon flush of 7.7 ph water is doing well! I checked the ph on her soil this morning and she's at 6.4...PERFECT! I gave all the girls a drink of de-chlorinated water in the amount of 2 1/2g with 1 tsp CalMag+ added and ph'd to 6.9 split evenly between them. 8/17- Day 30- The girls are all really growing like crazy filling out their 10g fabric pots. I went through all of them today and, using the green horticultural wire LST'd the crap out of everyone! I know, I know....LST on Day 30??? I've LST'd this late before and had really good results so giving it a go this run. Gave all the girls a small drink as they were moist 2" down using 2 1/2g de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8 @ 75 deg. After I LST'd all the girls, I selectively tucked shade leaves and defoliated a couple here and there and also removed all the shitty little undergrowth down low on the main stalks. Can't believe the FastBuds Crystal Meth #2 came back from the edge of oblivion. I checked her medium(SOHUM Living Soil) ph which is still @ 6.4...whew! I think she's gonna do just fine, although not as good as her sister who's an obviously different phenotype. 8/18- Cranked up the HLG 650R's to max today. Now drawing 1300w at the wall-650w each and raised both lights to 42" high which is giving 800-1100 umols depending on what place on the canopy you check. 8/19- I administered the second dose of live Nematode's with the girls morning watering. I put the Nematodes in 2 1/2 gallons of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8 @ 74 deg. and split it evenly between all eight pots. I tightened up the LST on all the girls to keep spreading them out and getting better light penetration into the lower canopy. 8/20- I started a batch of Compost Tea this morning- 4 cups worm castings, 1 cup of Alfalfa Meal, 1 cup Kelp Meal, 2 tbsp Bat Guano into 4 1/2 gallons of de-chlorinated water with a 6.9ph in which I added 5 tbsp of unsulphured molasses as a catalyst for the microbes. I'll brew this for 48 hours. The ladies all were moist enough that I felt safe skipping the water for today, I'll give them a light watering tomorrow, then a heavy feed with the compost tea. I went through and tucked the heck out of leaves blocking bud sites from light (this is a chore as the girls are getting BUSHY as hell!) and removed a few scattered fan leaves that refused to be tucked and were really blocking light into the lower canopy....can't be having that, need the LIGHT! 8/21- Ladies were all looking very perky this morning and the FastBuds Crystal Meth and Purple Lemonade are both getting beautiful purple shades to them especially the FastBuds Crystal Meth #1 in Natures Living Soil Autoflower Concentrate, she's absolutely on FIRE although her node spacing is very wide. The #2 Crystal Meth in SOHUM that had the ph issue with her medium seems to have recovered after I flushed the shit out of her. She's behind her sister and definitely has a different structure than the #1 phenotype. The Purple Lemonade #1 & #2 are both flowering with #2 looking way better. The #1 Purple Lemonade has some thick kushy leaves and she's a short little biatch, in contrast to the #2 which is tall and lanky with wider node spacing. The #2 Purple Lemonade is having a little issue apparently with the nitrogen level in the medium as she's getting 'claw tips' on several of her leaves and judging by her dark green coloration, she's nitrogen rich right now. I'll keep an eye on her but don't think it's a big issue at this moment in time. The Seedsman Gelato OG in Natures Living Soil Autoflower Concentrate is getting bushy and has filled out the 10 gallon fabric pot. She's got a ton of bud sites and it's a struggle training to keep all the sites exposed to light. The #2 Gelato OG in SOHUM is doing about the same as her sister but she's not quite as tall. The Seedsman Zkittles #1 slowed down on her stretch and just decided to get bushy instead! She's still in pre-flower but is very healthy and will be getting it on very soon! Her 'Sin Twisters' Zkittles #2 & #3 are beautiful and in flower. The Zkittles 'twins' were previously the shortest plants in this run but have caught up and are as tall as the Zkittles #1 @ 14". 8/22- End of Week 4! The girls got Compost Tea ( 8.1 ph, 840 ppm and 1636 EC @ 78 deg.) for breakfast this morning along with a top dress on the six ladies growing in Natures Living Soil Autoflower Concentrate / Fox Farms Happy Frog mix. The two SOHUM pots with the Seedsman Gelato OG #2 and FastBuds Crystal Meth #2 got 4 tbsp of 2-8-4 slow release dry amendments by Down To Earth top dressed and worked in by hand. I gave them each 1/2 gallon of Compost Tea after top dressing to help water in the nutrients. I went through all the girls and tucked and gently spread their branches to continue to train them as they get ready to really start flowering. The FastBuds girls are getting MORE colorful each and every day and I can't wait to open the tent each morning to see them....BEAUTIFUL!!!

Cooling off at night, lots of dew, but being underneath my big Cherry Tree provides some relief. Did a big defoliation to help with airflow, removed quite a few inner branches that weren't keeping up with the canopy, but overall happy with the shape and structure, will probably just ride the rest out as it. Just water this week, spray of LCPT and a spray of BT for caterpillars. Will alternated LCPT / BT ever 3-4 days. Flowering is looking great, very aggressive TONS of pistils, trichomes developing as well, going to be 6 weeks at least, if the weather can hold out that long that is!

Biggest Autoflower Ever - Pineapple Express was the GOAT. 479 Grams Dry Weight, 78 Days from seed to Harvest Was a big surprise having almost a HALF KILOGRAM FROM AUTOFLOWER, Always thought 500 grams per square meter description was a legend but no, IT CAN BE TRUE Good luck to all my grower fellas, I will not stop on growing in hydro, even tho half of this run was in handmade hydro. It was my third hydro Grow and I see the Improvement Last one was only 300 Grams dry weight Strawberry Banana from FB Pinepple Express itself is a 10/10 strain, it says mostly Indica but feels like the best Sativa I have ever tried, great pineapple smell and taste, hits like Mike Tyson, perfect strain and YUMMY as hell, loved it, will grow it again probably as it's not only mine favorite strain. I originally thought this was an autoflower, but it turns out it was a photoperiod. It was still in veg on day 65, so I switched the light cycle to 12/12 and 10 days later (day 75) it went into flower. This video is two weeks (14 days) after it went into flower.

Commencing Week 7: day 43 on January 12th Today I left the dirty girls (I call them that because they are in soil 😋) out of the tent for their first time in their lives to hang out with some new girlfriends (my photoperiod s). They seem very happy to be hanging out with them 👍👍 The other day I took one of my personal photoperiod Crosses and pollinated one of the bottom flowers of the bloody skunk, hopefully seeds will be coming soon :-) Today I started thinking about how much longer they have left and it seems the bloody skunk is nearing the finish Line already. In the beginning of this diary I wanted to achieve the goal of getting some autoflower seeds by taking one of the syrup strains and cross breeding it but none of my syrups strains made it from seed for some reason. So now I'm thinking about taking the top bud off of bloody skunk in the next week or two and letting the rest of the plant go through rodelization so I may still achieve that goal. We shall see. Thanks for the great genetics everyone attention and support. Won't be long now till I actually get to do a harvest report 😎👍

Hello everyone nothing really to report we are getting some extreme growth and I am loving it. The girls are super happy with their environment. They look droopy because i just fully watered their pots. I gave them some molasses, calmag and kelp. Nothing mas, I think next week I will start to go 25% on the Remo lineup. That foxfarm happy frog/ocean forest mix is excellent for the lazy grower lol just water all the way until it's time to flower basically. Also big shout out to Optic, their lights have my weed growing like weeds ! I had to turn off the GMAX150 for the pics since it does emit a orange hue(due to lack of blue LEDs) but the Phatslim XL is perfect for pics. Let me know if you have any questions or comments :)

10/2 They made it to their forever pots. Next Saturday we'll be hitting 2 months from sprout and as a whole its been a pleasure to grow these plants. They all are a very healthy green and seem to be happy. Temperatures in the region may have unexpectedly slowed them down (I grow in a basement) because temps have plummeted from around 78 with the lights on to as low as 71! I don't think they like it either. Growth has slowed with it. Never fear, space heater is here. Everything thing needs to be dialed in for the next few weeks because I want explosive growth over the next 21 days. Going to try a SST somewhere in there. Parsing through all this bro science isn't easy but it sure is fun to experiment. It allegedly gives you good root growth and provides crucial enzymes. Almost sounds too good to be true but I'm going to see how it goes regardless. I heard you can use I wide variety of seeds but alpha alpha is the only one I have on hand. Wish me luck. As for the plants: Moby= beast. I'd be a fool not to attempt to clone her. Vigorous grower and responds well to training. Not a demanding eater either, at least so far. Loving this freebie from NASC. Highly recommend them if you're in the northeast US looking for a local seed bank. GZ 1 = steady. Probably the biggest back slide if you want to call it that. Spotted some yellowing on lower leaves but they are shaded by this ones thick canopy. May not even be an issue but we keep an eye on it. Probably the biggest critic of the lowering temperatures because she's slowed down in the past 2 days. Gz2= trooper. She had a rougher upbringing and she's got a far different shape than the other two because of it. But with a little work I'm sure soon both GZ will be indistinguishable from one another. Banana daddy= forgot to take pics of her. Man have I been growing autoflowers all wrong. I may have fed this plant once. Though it should be noted that the soil I put her in was amended with alpha alpha, fish bone meal, and guano. She seems to really enjoy it so far. Not a single yellow leaf. Droopy at times though which is odd. Also some tacoing on new growth that ends up correcting itself as the leaf gets bigger. Double odd. Next time I do an auto run I'm definitely doing much less in terms of feeding and maintenance. Loving your plants too much can be deadly. Starting to figure them out though so I'm happy I did at least one. I'll post in a few days when I water my photos again.

Acabo de hacer el lavado de raíces. Ya queda poco, y estoy deseando ver el resultado. No tengo ninguna favorita, porque todas tienen una pinta tremenda!! La Oreoz es preciosa, la vanilla frosting tiene unos cogollos increíbles, la Og kush es mega resinosa ( eso si, una se ha quedado pequeña y con cogollos más flojos), la Blue sunset sherbert huele increíblemente afrutado, y la Rainbow mints es super productora y suculenta. Still my best lady out of my first grow. Buds production looking really good, still some white hairs but I'm expecting that to change quickly. Trichome production looks fantastic, starting to cloud up so will flush her soon. Hoping to harvest around the 21st.

Day 78🌱🙂🍊 This lady is doing her great job, Buda are increasing rapidly 🌱 difference between top flower and bottom is evident. For this reason I’m quite sure I’m going to cut in two times, around 85/87 days I’ll cut the high part of biggest bud and around day 95 the rest of the plant. Day 80🌱🌱🌱🙂🍊 I’m going to go up to 90/95 days, smell now is really strong 👃🌱🤣 I keep giving some water when is really dry because some parts of the plant still needs it. Day 81 🌱🌱🌱🌱🙂🍊 Hi all fellows, today a big defoliation cleaning to improve light in the bottom Part of the plant before harvest. I tought to harvest in like 10 days but as I have some water yesterday I noticed that she’s been quite not drinking anymore. I’ll give another 2/3 days before harvest. Decided to bring the ladies outdoors to finish them off. I have a small 5x5 pop-up greenhouse that will keep them safe from the extreme weather. The nights are finally warm enough and we have some great sunshine coming in the next week. There are only about 4 weeks left for them so there should be lots of light for them to finish and produce, even in northern Ontario. They have started to flower and have really enjoyed being outdoors. We have had some very cloudy and rainy days for the past week, perfect weather to get them hardened off to the Sun. I’ve been watering every 4 days or so, keeping the PPM average for now until I see they are getting hungrier/thirstier. Can’t wait for the good part! Happy growing 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨
