On day 1 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. On day 2 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.3 to 6.1. On day 3 the buds are really starting to bulk up and are putting out side flower clusters already in week 5. I adjusted the PH to 6.1. The goal is to coast from 6.1-6.3 then back to 6.1-6.3 ect. On day 4 things look good I scoped out the trichs and found some to be filing up with cannabinoids :) maybe she will be done in 7-8 weeks like the breeder says. On day 5 my reservoir temp got into the 80's because when the reservoir gets depleted it lowers the water level below the thermostat and I'm getting into the colder months so the cold air temperatures are causing the heater to heat when not needed. My temporary fix is to place the heater diagonally when the water level gets low and then when the water level drops a little more I will fill my reservoir back up fully so to keep the heaters thermostat running correctly. On day 6 I did another defoliation to improve light penetration and airflow in the canopy. I installed a new "Nano aquarium heater" this will be able to heat my reservoir without being affected by the water level in my reservoir. I also changed out my reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. On day 7 the girls are looking and smelling great! I adjusted my reservoirs PH from 6.6 to 6.1. My Nano aquarium heater seems to do the job nothing out of the ordinary that I could tell after a night in the low 30's.

After removing the runtz from the tent I decided to put a net over them to spread the canopy, not exactly a true scrog due to the lateness of applying the net but it has served its purpose. All very healthy and took the cold night temps like a champ

Last week with fertilizer, next week rinse with clear water, and cut at the end of the week 🌿🍁

Hello everyone. This week the plant took of. She's stretched quite a bit during the last days showing her sativa dominance, buds are building up nicely. Day 28 I topdressed with humus and compost mixed with 7-10 grams of organic mineral npk 5-10-15 to give her some extra feeding to start flowering. She's going thirsty every two days now so I alternated water and feeding with humus tea and molasses. Watering volume about 5-6 liters. Man this week has been taking forever, my theory is it will only get slower relative to harvest just because my excitement. I top dressed with about 2 inches of worm castings with an eyeballed mix of 2tbps of bone meal (3-14-0, bloom fert.), 1.5-2tbps of Gaia green all purp.(4-4-4, I don’t have an actual potassium fert. Like leingbenite So I use this), 3tbps of dr earth kelp meal (1-.05-2 has many different vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates) and 2tbps of mykos (for microbiology inoculation and nutrient uptake/upkeep). So I every time I water I have this old 2gallon water tin that I usually fill up about a quarter to half way full. Using this amount of water and the 5 gallon bucket of my soil mix makes my watering schedule once every 3 days (on average). I do use bottle nutrients but it’s mainly for the supplementing. For feeding I use 2-3ml to half a gallon for all bottle nutrients, I have never gone over, and I have never had deficiency’s that can hinder plant development. Deficiency's: PSA: Now if anyone happens to read and actually look at my plants please do look closely and maybe let me know if you see something that I have missed since I’m still very new. I noticed my plant was having a cal mag issue so that’s why I top dressed with worm castings, I also top dressed with about 3tbps of azomite (I feel using azomite it may help with all those unnoticeable deficiency’s that a new grower might miss). I’ve been noticing on some of the leaves the very tips are showing discoloring, since the color is still so vibrant mostly I can rule out nitrogen, phosphorus, Iron, manganese, and sulphuric. It’s still very early stage so I did an extremely light foliage feeding (in the dark to prevent UV damage) of 2ml of big bud, big bloom, and tiger bloom, mixed into half a liter of water, I then emptied the spray bottle and sprayed with tap water just to make sure there’s no nute burning. Today I fed the plant through water amendments with 3ml of big bud, 3ml of bud candy, 3ml of big bloom, and 2ml of tiger bloom;(my theory is hopefully the nutrient deficiency’s will go away) My soil mix is pretty basic. 40% coco, 10% perlite, 10% well composted chicken manure, 20% black gold compost, 20% worm castings. I’m not going to put the fertilizer amendment percentage to be honest I eye ball it but there’s a rough general measurements that I do.

Fun to grow and took to lst and supercropping very well. I am keeping a mother of the stinkiest pheno I got. I made some other seeds that I will be growing out after Jinxproof's pheno hunt. I will be doing a few grows coming up here and its going to be gnarly! Stay tuned in for modern genetics that have been tested and stabilized. These were bag seed from regular seed of LA confidential given to a friend that won them in a giveaway from DNA Genetics.

A good week overall! Started out a bit rough, as I noticed some yellowing on the oldest leaves. Unclear exactly what the issue is/was. I'm using soil with organic fertilizers, so over-nutrient seems unlikely to me (very little readily available nutrients, all slow-release, only two waterings up to that point). But some folks on different forums think it may be nutrient burn. Alternatively, it could just be lack of light on these leaves (they are very shaded) and touching the soil. Regardless, while researching I noticed that my humidity was way down, hovering nearing 35%. The tent is in a dehumidified basement so this makes sense. Based on VPD charts this seemed non-ideal for the plant, so I added a small humidifier and a RH PID controller. Humidity stays around 55-60% now, which is a nice compromise between keeping humidity up in the tent and not fihgting the basement dehumidifier too much. I also drilled some holes in the container to help air out the soil faster... a DIY janky airpot :) Throughout the rest of the week, LST ties were adjusted and heavily obscured leaves were pruned off. I also started pruning off bud sites that were pointing downwards, in an effort to reduce clutter and wasted resources. All in all, she's looking pretty good. I'll probably flip in the next week or so. I would love to give it some more time to veg, but have a schedule I need to keep later this fall. This strain supposedly flowers in 6-7 weeks, so we'll see :)
