Looking good so far with a 10€ Amazon full spectrum light and the cheapest soil I could get from Lidl. I'm using a closet wrapped with aluminium foil as grow tent.

Temps were hard to control this week due to a heat wave and the fact I'm in a basement with no AC. I put the fans in the tent on too high a setting pointed right at the plants and they ended up with some wind stress which can be seen in the pics affecting the new growth. Bought a 6 inch inline fan to beef up the exhaust for the tent and this seems to have helped a lot. I moved the tent to its final location to allow access to ventilation so I can pipe the smell outside when the flowering starts. I started low stress training on both plants this week. I decided not to top either plant but I will for the next grow to see how it affects yields. I also fixed the other viovsun tent that had a broken zipper track and only one slider. Hopefully I can use it in the future for flowering photoperiod plants.

Week 2 of flower, RO water change with an EC of 1.3. Will adjust from here and observe the next day or two. Although you watched as I did a major defoliation, as you can see, they have bounced back pretty quickly. As of now, I will be defoliating every few days just to keep the light penetrating the canopy so we have some nice buds come harvest time. Week 10 - Fifth Week of Flower The Donutz tent is stepping into its fifth week of flower with some exciting developments and a few surprises. The plants are thriving, and the vibes remain immaculate as the grow progresses. Key Updates: Purple Phenos: 3-4 of the plants are starting to show stunning purple hues in their buds and sugar leaves. The color shift adds a beautiful contrast to the tent and hints at the unique expressions within the Donutz genetics. Different Phenotypes: While most of the plants are stacking up nicely, 1-2 phenos are a bit on the thinner side with less bud density. It’s a reminder of the natural variability in genetics, but there’s still time for them to fill out in the coming weeks. Environment & Care: Stable Conditions: Temperature, watering (reverse osmosis), and overall care are dialed in perfectly. The plants are enjoying a consistent, stress-free environment with plenty of love. Healthy Growth: The rest of the tent is looking strong, with vibrant buds and trichome development continuing to ramp up. Observations: The purple phenos are a standout feature this week, bringing extra visual appeal to the tent. Even the thinner phenos are showing healthy structure and potential to develop further before harvest. Trichome production is increasing, and the tent is starting to radiate that sweet, sticky aroma. Next Steps: Continue monitoring the thinner phenos to ensure they’re getting enough light and nutrients. Maintain stable environmental conditions and nutrient levels to support bud development. Keep a close eye on trichomes as they mature, watching for any signs of ripening as the grow approaches the final stretch. The Donutz are flourishing, and the tent is alive with color, aroma, and promise. The Florida Gang grind is paying off big time — the finish line is in sight!

These girls have all finally got into their 15L Auto pots, right now I am just waiting to get the roots accustom to the pots before I rig up the system, really excited to try them out . Goal for this week : 1) make sure I expose as many flower sites as possible. 2) get the canopy opened up for maximum airflow , I will do this through Low stress training. As you can start to see I'm using zip ties to put anything above the first ring on my tomato cage. Anything that is unable to connect to the first ring of the tomato cage will be left until flower and then when it stretches I will put them on the second ring of the tomato cage. week 9 is officially done, site calls for 8-9 weeks of flowering time, sadly the one on the right got revegged and has 2-3 more weeks to go. the one on the left however is full of trichomes,almost quartz like, mostly cloudy with a bit of amber, i’m thinking about chopping her this weekend, smell is like if you combined mothballs and sherbet (sounds weird but smells just like it) this grow as been one of my easiest grows so far, all the problems i’ve had with it has mostly been user error (i.e dog stepping on timer and day temps reaching 87)

DLI increased to 38 plants looking good, buds getting bigger. Removed some single leafs that where blocking light from lower buds.

Harvest was rushed due to unforeseen events. No matter though. Gave her a very rough wet trim and hung each branch from my scrog net. Drying process was also rushed and my A/C failed just before the finish line so they are a bit dry and not AS flavourful as it could have been. They have been curing for 2 weeks - 3days. Still better than anything I can buy within a 300km radius and overall one of the best bowls I've smoked in years. Important Lessons: - Accurately monitor PH/TDS/EC. - Smaller pot size (?) - Feed way less nutrients (especially for autoflowers) - More reliable and cost-effective way of adjusting Temp/RH

Week 17 Day 113 (04/12/2020)💧: Nice start to the week with a watering. Just as last week, I will be giving them the increased nutrients until the flush. So today I gave them 1.5ml of BioGrow, 6ml of BioBloom, and 6ml of TopMax. Day 114 (05/12/2020): The trichomes were looking beautiful today! (really hard to take close of pictures of them though). You can see in the pictures that some are getting more amber now which is a great sign that the girls are almost ready 🌸 Day 115 (06/12/2020): Took a quick pic of the tent but didn’t have much time to check the girls properly. I’m sure they are great as always 👌 Day 116 (07/12/2020)💧: I watered the girls today with the same nutrients: 1.5ml of BioGrow, 6ml of BioBloom, and 6ml of TopMax. The buds on this girl are looking super dense and even the ones at the bottom are getting bigger! I hope that this 6ml of TopMax will fatten them up even more in the next few weeks before harvest 😄 Day 117 (08/12/2020): Didn’t have time to take pictures today actually Day 118 (09/12/2020): I’ve gotta say that their smell is definitely evolving in a more “mature” direction and they are starting to smell less like citrus and a bit more earthy and spicy. Really incredible! Day 119 (10/12/2020)💧: Watered the girls today with the same nutrients as last time giving them 1.5ml of BioGrow, 6ml of BioBloom, and 6ml of TopMax. They are both doing well but again some of the leaves and stems at the bottom were definitely a bit sad and wilting. But nevertheless, I took some videos and close-up pictures and they look incredible. Their red tint is definitely developing more and more, which is especially noticeable when I take close ups. Also looking from their trichomes, there are some amber ones already so I am thinking to even start the 2 weeks flush from next watering onwards and prepare for harvest! Will assess the trichomes in a few days and decide.
