Seventh week of flowering. All beautiful, healthy plants, but very different phenotypes. Two plants are ready to be harvested in 7-10 weeks, but the slowest one is at least three weeks away.

--- The weather forecast predicted low temperatures of only 5° C. daytime temperature with daily continuous fog, so I decided to harvest. The lady in the grow box had caught mould in a leaf axil while still in the foil tent, the entire branch was drying out, so she was also harvested. Outdoor growing is and remains a ‘run with mother nature across seasons’, we cannot determine all the factors. This is a disadvantage but also a challenge that I gladly accept every year, be it tomatoes, peppers, artichokes or borlotti beans in the open field. I can now enjoy the results until the next season. However, after the season is before the season, a lot of seeds have accumulated and new varieties have to be selected. Thank you for following this diary! Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Day 70: Want to know how the trichomes are looking on my OG Kush, they look pretty clear to me but not 100%🤷‍♂️🏼 any feedback would be great, this OG is about 10 weeks old from seed, there was some temp issues, and nutrients locks but still going strong I believe.

She has a sweet cookies and pine smell. Very frosty and should be a very calming smoke. I didn't have any major issues during the grow. Introducing bloom nutrients to her now, going to do a partial flush on the tank itself. I refill with RO water thats pH adjusted. I only use her nutrient solution for watering from the top a few times a day but not enough to cause significant runoff into the tank .

First week of flower. One of these will end up herming out with nanners over a month later. Can you guess which one? Feeding is all organic. Once I'm in flower I switched to dry amendments and compost teas and cut out the big bloom. I will also add silica next week as a one time boost.

Dear Friends ❤️ in this week we topped again and bended this great Umme by Anesia Seeds ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I topped plants and remove big fan leaves that covered bud sites I missed to give top crop Big one at 14 october, it is important to give 10 days before flowering The last day of this week we switched the light to 12/12 week #5 of vegetation The 240w light is working at 50% power and now it is combined with the 480w quantum board. I consider week 4 the week from 18/10 to 24/10. day to day fert schedule: 📅 18/10 📅 19/10 NEEM OIL 📅 20/10 📅 21/10 Top Veg 3ml/L-Deeper Underground 2ml/L - Green Explosion 2ml/L - big one 2ml/L - PURPINATOR 1,2ml/L 📅 22/10 📅 23/10 📅 24/10 ABOUT UMME, feminized seeds Our Umme is a unique personality, she is incredibly strong, full of life, shows an extraordinary interest in cannabis and delicious flavors and is probably one of the friendliest beings on our planet. Umme is a Vietnamese Pot-Bellied Pig lady and she inspired us to name our new THC-rich strain after her. Both she and our new cannabis strain are real heavyweights with an irrepressible energy. For UMME we have crossed a particularly aromatic Blackberry Moonrocks and a Brownie Scout selected for potency. We have thus created a unique genetic basis for an outstanding new and extremely potent strain that will certainly be found in numerous varieties over the next few years. And how could it be otherwise, Umme has become a real queen and a bud machine at the same time, producing excessive amounts of resin, buds and intense effects. The large, dense, resin-drowned flowers often get a beautiful purple color. The buds can reach a massive THC content of up to 30% and are therefore far too strong for many beginners. In addition to the extremely thick layer of white trichomes, it produces a fascinating aroma that is addictive. This is reminiscent of blueberry cake and has notes of cinnamon and vanilla. The high is overwhelmingly powerful. It gives you a feeling of deep joy, euphoria and pervasive relaxation like you’ve never experienced before. Mind and body are wrapped in a fluffy cloud and it becomes impossible to get up from the couch. The cerebral effects expand the senses and create an impressive feeling of bliss. Stress and worry are shot into another galaxy as space and time reach a new dimension. The effect and the diverse terpene profile make Umme an unforgettable experience. Those who make clear concentrates or distillates will love the strain because it naturally produces such a highly concentrated amount of THC. Growing UMME The indica dominant strain has a flowering time of 8-9 weeks and produces high yields of 500-550 g / m² with no problems under good conditions. Outdoors, the strain reaches a height of 200-250 cm while indoors it grows to around 115-130 cm. The plants from the seeds develop quickly and are amazingly vigorous and hardy. No grow is really complete without the hassle that it upsets everything that has existed. Medical Use The strong physical calming effect helps to relieve pain, stress and muscle tension. It ensures a deep sleep and helps to calm down after a stressful day. |»» LOG DISCLAIMER: Not intended as a grow guide. Grow log entries are usually posted 3 weeks later and are for my learning reference. ««| Introduction - Week 21 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 17578.1, Pretty smooth grow week! For the main tent, did a bit of super-cropping, but for the most part, been letting these girls do their thing! Bud growth is ramping up and looking beautiful! As for the veg tent, transplanted two more clones into the right quadrants and topped the mothers in the left quadrant. Top watered all veg plants with a few microbial goodies. Also kept up with clonal RO waterings. Decided to dive into the world of tissue culture and am stoked to give it a try! Kind of forgot to take PPFD reading and height checks, but will do so next week. Anyways! Onwards Ensign! The veg garden is green and thriving with perky growth! --- Okay! Need to transplant two of these girls! --- After bit of self-debating (and quite a few bowls), I’ve finally decided on the ones! --- Going to transplant Gorilla Goat #1 along with the original Garlic Budder #1 --- Decided to the transplant the Gorilla Goat #1 for the loudness and overall lemon chem gas terp profile. --- As for the Garlic Budder phenos, going with the purple pheno. For a while, was planning on transplanting the #2 pheno, but after a 5-month cure, the unique and smooth smoke of the #1 pheno was the ultimate reason for switch. --- Ca-Caw! Always pheno hunting! This is why we grow! --- Okay, anyways! - [18:22]: Time to transplant! --- Both 7-gallon pots have been pre-amended and ready for more roots! --- Alright let's go cutty! --- Placed both of the spare Heady OG clones in the propagation tray. - [18:25]: Gently removed the solo cups from both fabric pots (on the right side of the tent) leaving perfect holes. ------ Sprinkled 1/16tsp of Great White, --- Dusted the sides of both holes. --- Also sprinkled a bit around the top soil. --- Great! Time to transplant! --- It’s been two days since both have been watered. --- To loosen and unstick the rootball from the cup, I gently squeezed the sides before pressing the bottom upwards. --- Once fully loosened, I simply Vulcan-gripped the base of the plant and flipped her upside down. - [18:33]: Gorilla Goat #1 dropped straight out of her cup! --- Hmm. Not as rooted as I would hope, but roots look white and healthy! --- The original Garlic Budder #1 pheno easily slipped out of her cup! --- Similar the Gorilla Goat, she could have more roots, but that’s okay. Roots look healthy and that is all that matters! --- Did not break up the rootballs. --- Gently flipped and placed each clone carefully into the pre-inoculated holes. --- Pressed and evened out the top soil for both phenos. - [18:39]: Transplant done! --- Gorilla Goat #1 was transplanted into the back right quadrant. --- Garlic Budder OG#1 was transplanted into the front right quadrant. --- To prevent transplant shock and to help even out the soil moisture, going to give 2 cups of wetting solution each. --- Also adding in a few extra microbes. - [18:55]: Filled a pitcher with 6 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] ------ Added 1/32tsp of Recharge ------ Added 1/32tsp of Stash Blend ------ Added 1/8tsp of Horticultural Aloe ------ Added 1/8tsp of Horticultural Coconut ------ Added 1/8tsp of Mycrobe Complete ------ Added 1/2tsp of WDG3000 Extra Strength BTI --- Mixed the solution and poured 2 cups straight into a pump sprayer. --- Misted Gorilla Goat #1's straw mulch with the wetting solution (back right quadrant). --- Took my time and tried to go evenly. - [19:15]: Repeated this process for the original Garlic Budder #1 pheno (front right quadrant). --- Using the remaining 2 cups of the wetting solution, misted the straw mulch for both Heady OG (front left quadrant) and TKO (back left quadrant) mothers. --- Ca-Caw!! Done with the transplant! Grow strong my veg queens! - [19:22]: As for the remaining veg clones, --- Decided to try to preserve the genetics in solo cups and basic clonal cycling techniques. --- Plan to take new cuttings in a few weeks or so and will begin the rooting process once more. --- Curing has really changed the way I currently hunt phenos and I really don’t want to lose another keeper pheno (recently regret not keeping a cutting of Garlic Budder #4). --- Oh! Also finally decided to fully give tissue culture a go! --- Another huge shout out to Laur and her independently ran business, Plants-In-Jars! --- If successful, learning tissue culture will be a huge ganja journey milestone by providing a sustainable way to preserve and maintain a diverse genetic library. --- Through continuous subculturing and micro propagation, I should be able to maintain unrooted explant cuttings forever. --- Then when needed, theses cuttings can be rooted and conditioned back into a clonal state and back into solo-cups for transplanting. --- Of course, I have absolutely no idea what I am doing, so developing a successful cannabis tissue culture protocol is going to be fun and full of failure, err, I mean, learning experiences! --- What can possibility go wrong right!? --- While learning (which will most likely take a bit), will continue to maintain the vegging mothers and solo cup clones. --- The ganja journey continues! Important: Key Rules for my Setup Feed every watering (1–2 L) → safer with autos and small volumes. Check runoff ppm every 2–3 weeks → if 250–300 ppm higher than input, do a light flush (3-4L). Plain water reset → once every 2–3 weeks during feeding phase. Defoliation → light only (2–3 leaves every few days if shading colas). Light height → keep ~55 cm from canopy with two SF1000D to avoid more light stress and to spread even light distribution. Notes: Remove only occasional fan leaves shading bud sites. Keep light height at least 50 cm to prevent further light stress. Maintain RH ~45–55% and 20-26C for this week. (Currently more like 50-55%) UPDATE: FEEDOMG THEM MORE THAN I HAVE EVEN FED AUTFLOWERS. But I was a little behind from the switch from Veg to Bloom. Looks like its stabilized now though. Last Week of VERY light defoliaten and from now it will be 1ml/L Green Sensation. Will keep Grow for a bit, so they dont loose more green. PPFD/DLI: Photo attached to show my PPFD in my tent. (Made wiith ChatGPT) "At 55 cm, your canopy is still getting: ~700–800 µmol/m²/s in the middle ~500–600 µmol/m²/s in the corners That’s well within the ideal flowering PPFD range (600–900), and because you run a 20h cycle, the DLI is already plenty high (≈ 35–40 mol/m²/day)." I have given them more nutrients since they all are super hungry. I think I should have stayed with higher doses of N for longer. Now it’s too risky to overcompensate. I don’t want nitrogen in the end of flowering. Or as little as possible without hurting potentials. Which wasn’t successful this time trying a new line of nutrients.
