🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

Hi everyone 😁 Welcome to my second diary. Strain of choice 🍌💜👊 Auto from Fast Buds 420. Normally I would use paper towel method but this time decided to try germination in propagator directly to substrate. 100% success. First girl showed in about 48h after planting and second maybe 12h after. 07/10 Seeds planted. Propagator at 22 degrees and 90% humidity. 09/10 Day 1 Girls popped through the soil. 13/10 Day 5 Xena and Athena comfortably transported to new 5 star spa resort and they do like new 14l queen beds 15/10 Day 7 End of germination week. Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and getting chunky. Hello Growers !! How are you ? I spent a whole week without posting updates on my girls, I got very sick, stomach problems and that made me very discouraged and having trouble making better pictures, but next week I will try to test the results !! This is the last week of the cultivation, next week I will carry out the harvest, about 5% of the trichomes are amber in color !! I already stopped with the nutrients and I won't make a flush, since my cultivation was totally organic !! I'm happy with the results and the aroma of citrus mango is wonderful! 😊

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This Purple Punch didn't break soil until 4 days from getting wet. I ended up with a slightly mutated Purple Punch Seedling as she has 3 Cotyledons instead of 2. I have friends who have had this and they told me they turned out just fine yield and terp wise just really based more on the phenotype than the fact that it was genetically mutated. She is in a Solo Cup in ProMix/Perlite under the Spectrum X at 30% Power which is 230 Watts in V1 or Veg Mode. Very happy so far with the light as it is keeping all nodes tight and all leafs green and pointed upwards. I will also this Purple Punch's roots to fill the solo cup and then I will transplant her into a final 3.4 gallon airpot and hook her up to an auto feeding halo coming from a reservoir. When a plants roots are just fertigated in soil they are lacking in oxygen until some drying takes place. In Coco Coir, they have the perfect ratio of H20/Oxygen just after watering and as long as the Coir stays somewhat saturated. This is why high frequency fertigation pays off in coco coir. My plan is to top her one time by day 28 or so at the latest, or at least before she starts flowering, so whatever node that will be depends on her growth between now and then. He was maybe 6 months old. The lady who had him was not allowed pets in her apartment. So she kept him in a little closet to hid him. Then she knew nothing about dog nutrition, and was feeding him different foods on the daily. So I aquired him due to the ability to provide better and get him out of a closet. He lived in 3 different areas. In his first couple years he lived in a populated area. Loves everyone, but scared many, you ask why. Well being a pit bull he would run at you like he was attacking, only threat was when he would jump up, and basically try to drown you in saliva. He loved attention. Then he spent about 6 years in the country on 24 acres. So he had lots of room to run, and explore. Then the last couple years we were back in a populated area. At this time he was older, and less active, but every bit a love bug. His favorite time had to be in bed next to me while I slept to cuddle. He would burrow, and squirm for 20 minutes with joy being in bed. Was a amazing pit bull. Never harmed anyone. Just wanted love. So as he aged being purebred he suffered from hip dysplasia in last about 3 months his left hip popped out. Rendering his leg useless. Cost of this surgery is very pricey, and stressful to the pet. During his last year he had lost his hearing, and had tumors developing that I did have the dr clean up when they ruptured. I was unable to afford his hip surgery. So he was still mobile on 3 legs for several months. Then on 4-2-21 his other leg had given out. Causing him lots of pain, and ending any happiness I seen in him. He was unable to go out, and stand on his own to go. Was messing in the house really bad. At this point his quality of life was not much but misery. So I took him to the vet to be euthanized, and end his suffering. What makes it harder is to know his mind was still there just his body was broken. Plus he knew what was going on, I believe when we got to the dr. Office. I will always remember him, and how he was my best friend that never judged. Would give his life to protect me and only want unconditional love in return. Plus a few treats. Thanks again for kind words, and support. Your pets are family, and remember to treat them as such .
