Setting up the garden of my dreams - Scroggernaut 2.0 "either yer scroggin er yer not" Old grow was a 4x4 closet inside a garage. New grow will be a 8x10 room with a 4x8 and 2x4 in 2020, and adding at least another 4x4 in 2021. My son will be learning how to grow this year in a dedicated 2x4 space, soiless mix, hand water. The additional 4x8 will be in a dutch bucket recirculating system (Thanks to GreenMachine for the advice so far, coming for more). All tables will be custom designed and made by me. Genetics will be a mix of Original Sensible Seeds (Bruce Banner #3) In house genetics (Slurricane ix) and some FastBuds testers So far in 5 days I have built the structure, and completed most of the insulating. Wiring before I finish the walls to save some future headaches. Lighting will be 3 x HLG 550 clones over a 4 x 10 foot area. This gives 36 LED watts per sqft, and the PAR rating on these lights is insane. Should be more than enough light. Hey guys! New week, here we are! As always, every Sunday is cleaning day. Took everything again from the tent, washed the saucers. Was also time to cut down some leaves as it was starting to look very bushy and hard for the light to get through it. During that time, came across with some bugs under the foliage, which isn't a great sign for sure. Not to mention the fruit flies that move in and are making my life a little chaos. Reducing now the RH a bit, and watering now on every 72h instead of 48h to keep the grow as dry as possible. Increasing the ventilator speed was another attempt, it so much air circulating should be hard for them to make a living inside. Just put now more of those fly traps and will add a couple glasses of cider vinegar here and there, as it attracts most of the flying things with success. Note that some plants are yellowing and that's never a good sign. Though for few weeks it was Nitrogen deficiency, but after increasing it and the CalMag values, the problem persists, so I'm inclined for something bug related. Besides that, temps are still very stable, RH was changed, now to 40% tops, and the light went a little lower to get it closer to the plants - always with the light burn effect in mind. 40cm is the line between the tops and the lamp. Flowering is looking good, buds are forming well and seems that's gonna be a good ending if I can keep the bugs under control. She's on pre-flower, switched the nutrients and increased a bit the feeding volume. That's all folks, have a great week

Good morning, today is day 50 of veg heading into week 8. I’ll let them grow taller this week after I did their first lollipopping and defoliation to get them ready for flower! I went away and one of the plants got too close to the light and got some light burn but has since been corrected and the new growth is fine. These girls are hungry and I waited a month to top dress but looks like I should have probably done it after three weeks as the new leaves are showing signs of deficiency’s ! Once the fertilizer works into the soil they will be fine and they are still growing fast ! Still giving them a gallon of water about every 4 days rotating fish shit and silica every other watering plus they got their recharge which I do every 3 weeks! Added a quarter cup of worm castings to each pot which I do every other week! Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next week on flipping day

Room is almost there Flood table coating was completed this week. Took forever to cure in the colder weather, but it is looking great now. Normally I wouldnt use this stuff because it is $200 per gallon, but since Im in the industry, these expired sample cans didnt cost me a cent and provides a much more durable, reflective, cleanable and puncture resistant alternative to plastic. Im very happy with the table overall, it cost me very little to build I installed the fan and carbon filter, moves about 750 cf per minute. Its a bit loud, but its huge, so what are ya gonna do? My dutch bucket pails are slowly being collected from my local coffee shop. I need 4 - 8 more. Ive got all the hardware to set up the watering system, so I will work on that in the coming week

I am feeding soluble pk, +3 pk soil conditioners and carbs every day. There is no water day. day 25 stacking up. been spraying old cs I made 3ish years ago to test, works on unrooted so I may potential cross. Bridal starting to smell like a mix between fresh watermelon, and lemon+lime or a citrus aroma.

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. 1. LABS - I suggest using distilled water for the entire process ( no chlorine or chloramine). I also suggest the type of rice product shown ( 1/2 cup), it has red, brown, white, and black rice blended together. You get the benefits of each type. 2. Take the rice that was used in making the rice rinse for labs and boil it in 3 cups of water for 30 mins. Strain the rice out. Add 1 TBSP molasses per 300 mls. Use 300 mls of the above mixture during your watering cycles. It contains starches, b vitamins, aminos, trace minerals, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, and some nitrogen. The ppm’s are not higher than 200 ( if using distilled water). This is ONLY used if your plants are healthy. If your plants are sick…this will NOT help them. It will make stuff worse!!! The Hulk-Berry got a new home. 1 tsp 7-3-1, 1/2 tsp 0-12-0, 1/2 tsp Langbeinite, 1 TBSP 2-2-2, 3 TBSP 4-3-3, worm castings, recharge (1/32 tsp) into the soil ( Mother Earth). Dentro de unos días dejarán de estirarse para centrarse en la producción de las colas, hasta entonces, haremos la última defoliación de bajos para dirigir la ventilación en ese punto, así, por mucha humedad que tengamos, jamás tendremos hongos.
