Its a late journal im totally new here and at growing too since i started this new passion on late december 2019 so 6 months ago or already 2 harvest ago lol. Just to let everyone know that this is my first time ever growing automatics too and wont be the last cause ill go again in auto mode next run. 1st run was fem seeds from crop king too the blue cookie. No lst or defoliation on this run cause im too new to this and i tried in my first run and i made so many mistakes lol. Not this time oh no :D I gave myself a chance to learn about my plants and how to feed well this time.

This week was amazing to see the growth really start. Felt like a little kid again when observing the first pointy leaves that come through! To think these 9 are going to provide us with the most beautiful, versatile plant on our planet, is just awesome. Eradicating the need to fuel crime by putting money in dealers pockets, and taking full control of the wonders I’ll be inhaling and consuming. They didn’t need much attention day to day, just moving windowsills morning/afternoon, and watering when the soil/pots looked dry. Thankfully haven’t had much trouble with them, although one of the FastBuds original AK’s isn’t looking so great. She’s not as developed as the others as you can see. She’s not received any different treatment or water or anything different at all to the others. Maybe I need to investigate more. I’ve decided to try stay as organic as possible with this grow. With that said, I’ve been brewing up a nettle tea to make a good nitrogen feed for the girls. Nitrogen is said to be needed most during veg stage, so preparing as much as I can.

As you can see in the pictures the girls have stretched quite a bit more and are starting to produce nice buds. I think the stretch should begin to slow down soon considering they're entering the third week tomorrow. That delicious sweet earlier flowering smell is getting a little stronger. Mmm! Nom nom! It is proving difficult to squeeze them both into a single picture in the room I photograph them in. I may have to start only photographing them separately next week 😅 We will see how it goes! I hope to acquire some photography florescent lights and a seamless background for future grows. Or, make a DIY background. This would allow me to take pictures elsewhere in the house where backgrounds and lighting aren't great. There was a little heat stress visible on some of the upper leaves but nothing major. I slept in yesterday morning and the lights were a little lower than they should have been. It did make the pictures a little less attractive, unfortunately. Welcome to the smallest harvest in my grow-tent! The LSD from barneys farm: GROW: This little plant grew extremely well in her 4 Liter pot and took as much nutrients as I wanted to give! She was really small in her vegetative Phase, but she stretched pretty much in flowering and developed nice and strong branches! Her height was about 30 cm and the smallest plant in my grow tent, due to the small size of her pots! I just wanted to try her and I had a small space between the other plants, so I decided to leave her there! I really liked her structure and her leaves, which looked really wild and rough😍 HARVEST: I put my LSD into a vase for 2 weeks for ripening, because she developed some bananas in her flowers! But luckily there is no seed in any bud of my plants, so I think I’ve done it well! I harvested her mostly wet, which made it take much longer... other than that it was fun to harvest her, came out with 16,7 g dry buds and 7 grams of cuttings! That’s pretty cool for me because she was just a small experiment if I can place a fifth plant in my tent, usually I would have put her outdoors! BAG APPEAL: 8/10 She surely has a nice sativa-structure in her buds, although no hints of purple or blue in them. The green is really bright and fresh, looks like high quality weed for sure! She is not that hardly trichome-covered like my blue gelato, but sure she has some pretty shiny calyxes! SMELL: 8/10 Her smell is really musky and earthy, as well as sweet at the end, which makes it a really nice bouquet of flavours to experience when you smell at the jars filled with her buds! Personally I love her smell! TASTE: 8/10 She already tastes pretty good in my storm vaporiser, but she’s not totally cured yet. I prefer the taste of my strawberry lemonade, but this one definitely has some hints of mint! EFFECT: 9/10 Her effect is really strong, crawling up your mind and your body really slowly, but lasts for about 4 hours! When you smoke it, you firstly get the feeling of happiness and classic red and dry eyes, but than it disappears and comes back with a really trippy and colourful effect! It’s like having a window between you eyes and the reality, and this window Is coloured in rainbow colours! Not as intense as mushrooms, but it surely has some relation to this effect. After a funny and giggly time and another few vape-hits, she’ll ,,blast you into another dimension“ - for real! I was so passed out, couldn’t barely speak, but still feeling damn fine and just perfect! Still I prefer the effect of my Shiskaberry due to her more talkactive effect and the need to walk. Also Shiskaberry is more trippy than this one, also related to the effect in your mind, including you thoughts and your state of mind! I Vaped this strain at 200-220 degree Celsius, which made her producing big clouds of tasty vapour! We smoked 0.6 g in this evening, we were 4 people and 1 of them Is a heavy smoker since years! But she was passed out same as we were😅 so all in all a really nice strain, we smoked it in the evening outdoors, but I think at a sunny day in the park this strain might be even better! 06/15: The ladies have started pre-flowering. They’re also growing in size. Annie has a height of 13”, soil to top leaves. She has a diameter of about 22”, which means I probably can’t fit more than three five gallons in my grow tent. I lowered the light to 12” in hopes of keeping her from getting too tall. Gave water in the afternoon. It was a day and a half since last watering. The five-gallon girls took in over 2000mL. I spotted to one worm in Alexis’s runoff and two in Annie’s. None in Aaliyah’s. I did notice that the bugs have no brown/black heads and also have a clitellum, which are characteristics not found in fungus gnat larvae. The plants look great as of now, but I’m going to keep a close eye on them for any changes. 06/18: Gave the ladies another watering. I didn’t see any pests, so I think we’re in the clear. I’ve been sticking to about a day and half between watering with about 1000μS. The salt in the runoff is a little higher than I would like it, but it’s nothing too crazy. Annie has a leaf or two with burnt tips, so I’m going to keep an eye on her. Both Annie and Aaliyah are about 15” high, but Annie has more of a curve on her main stem and is bushier. Her main stem is the same height as the other ones. The LST allowed Aaliyah to get light on her sides, but her main stem quickly grew back up and surpassed the others. Since the plants are going into flowering I want to avoid training them any further and just let them be. I also switched on the red light, but kept them blue. I read somewhere that this will allow the plants to get enough red light to help with the flowering, but still keep them a bit short because of the blue. I have enough space in the tent to allow the plants to double in height, but not much more after that.

I lowered the lights to 84cm, use spray to water the plants, increased the humidity to 65%, added a bit of soil and increased the light schedule to 19h. Hope it can speed up the grow

Winter Grow Attempt Hollands Hope Dutch Passion seeds Hollands Hope 16th June 2020 Finally somethings happening ..... It's a Girl 😁 Ive spotted the very first of her preflowers starting to appear. This is gonna be a very long grow if it continues at this slow rate of growth but shit happens 😀 I have a Bio dynamic "TEA" Bubbling away for all of my Gardens and I will dilute some to feed this young lady as soon as it is ready for use.
