Mega Power plant auto grew great. I ran her a bit long and she foxtailed on me. I was aiming for more of a good night kinda smoke. Hopefully with the relaxing qualities of this strain, plus the extra ripeness I may have a winner. I won't find out likely for about 2 months. Between dry time, and others ahead of her with my schedule I am getting them done as fast as I can. Very frosty flowers. Has a sweet earthy fruity smell. I have a harvest video that would not upload. What a week it was, experimented with my 2 AK47 hermie seeds and the happiness seeing a jungle in my 2x4 tent. They overtook the lights and pistils are coming out however no pistils are forming and the nice looking hairy structure was not visible instead the plant overstretched. I was informed to flip them lights in which i may attempt once harvested all of my 3 autoflowers. It is no doubt that this hermie can produce great flowers once i flip the switch, i have completely defo the plant to reveg it once Purple Punch, Outlaw Amnesia and strawberry cough is chop-chop. Other 3 autoflowers are looking great.

The plants have already been topped. Today, on 25-05-2024, two large leaves were removed, covering the sprouts. The LST was done at the same time.

Day 15 - The new week meant a change of water, nutrients and an adjustment of lights. Chong is looking like a short, but sturdy little seedling with broad fan leaves and big roots. Max is 10cm vs. Chong at 7cm and her leaves are perky and the stem is thick. They both look good for their own individual reasons. Looking at the roots specifically, Chong seems to be facing similar problems as Cheech in the Cookies Gelato grow - the aeration in the bucket appears to have “dead zones” because of the colour the roots and the manner in which they are sticking together. I’ve adjusted the air stone to be more central in the bucket and cleaned the air tubes because the nutrients stick on the tubes. Other than that, I’ve controlled the PH back down to 6.0 after the addition of the nutrients using the Milwaukee PH controller and decided not to adjust the height of the lights because there was only about 2cm growth this week. Also added the first wire to give Chong a bit of a better bend in her stem, gently starting off the process of LST. Day 20 and the ladies are getting closer to topping. Both are showing clear third nodes with the fourth node opening up. I am sure we will be topping during this next week of veg.

So far, so good! Stretching is almost done I hope. They are starting to stack on the buds. Still seeing discolouration on the one plant. I’m was going to go full strength. But I think my problem is nutrient lockout from overfeeding. So I did a plain water on day 69.

I am not doing anything at all , this plant is just staying arround in my garden. i just tried topping technic the first time and it worked well. now i just have to hope that this plant will be a lady, then i think i will get a good harvest in september/october.
