Not sure what the GD glitch was last week but after I updated in showed I was a week behind. I digress. This week they are still blowing up. I have never personally had an auto stretch like this and I love it! #1 is a total candy stripe stalk and the flowers are bulking early. #2 is a little lankier and continued to stretch another 7” taller to 34” but has thousand of white pistils and looks to be about to stack on some weight now. Over all the colas look to be between 7-12”. #3 is a bushy little sucker and if you remember or this is your forest read the other blackberry x2 never germinated so I threw another stardawg In and it’s about 12 days behind so it should do its thing soon. I have a couple other dark devils I decided to start later than that in the back too. The tent is consuming about 4 -5 gallons per day and I think I’ll run a straight water batch for a day when I clean it on Saturday. Let me know what you think or if you have grown it before. I’m always looking for data like how long their flower period was or what you did that made them better. Thanks for lookin’.

What a smell coming off these babies in veg. Had to turn fan on with filter. Stinking up my house without it. Plants are doing great with scheduled auto water and now lights being at 18 inches at 70w. Didn't realize how intense these lights were. Still short and stalky but starting to stretch now. Showing minimal pistills in 2 of 4 plants. Will start flowering in week 6 Runoff till about 20%. 1500EC in reservoir. Runoff is around that range so all is good. Topped 3 out of 4 plants this week. Was just going to bend main stalk but not much room to do so.

Howdy, So this last week has been about learning, quickly. Plant 2 has been suffering from yellowing, I noticed that at first it was a darker green than plant 1 - (first signs of Mg deficiency I have since learned). As plant 1 was doing so well until a few days ago, I originally assumed that plant 2 was just a bit of a slacker. I think basically it is more susceptible to PH differences than plant 1. First mistake was not knowing about the benefits of PH range... What I did not know earlier in the week is that Mg and Ca are only absorbed efficiently at 6.0 and above, my OCD kicked in and I refused to let the PH wander above 5.7; as from what I have read in forums, 5.7 is the sweet spot. Main lesson from last week is that I'm not going to be so anal about PH levels, I will let the PH rise to 6.3 before I drop it back down to 5.7, this will give the plants and window of time to grab hold of some well deserved CalMag before I drop it back down so it can retrieve some Mn and P if it needs any. My plants told me they were in need of Calcium over a week ago, but I naively thought that maybe I spilled a droplet of water on one of the leaves, and that caused it to burn. As I was adding CalMag+ to the solution when I replenished the reservoir. My second mistake was panicking... After realising above, I bombed the nutrient solution with 35ml of Cal Mag, bringing up the PPMS to 460, this subsequently gave the strongest plant nutrient burn. On top of this, I gave both plants a foliage spray during lights out with some diluted CalMag as well. So anyway, the main thing I have learnt is when the plants are ill, its probably best to take it easy, do a res swap at the very worst and concentrate on my PH levels first before throwing more variables into the fray. Positive notes: Plants 1 & 2 is now working on their 5th node, I know I am technically allowed to top at this point, but I am going to wait until they are working on their 7th before doing anything, this way I will be able to tell if the new growth is looking healthy, and my investigations are correct. I have now installed a Hailea 150a, with a submersible pump, this is now keeping the reservoir at 20ºc and its keeping the nutrients well mixed, I'll post a video later this week showing the set up. The roots at the top look a little dark, but I have done a sniff test and they don't smell at all, I think it is just where some of the tea has built up where the bubbles meet the air. Roots do seem rather large, maybe they have stretched so far looking for Mg and Ca :P Decided against increasing PPMS, going to do another week, so 5 weeks veg, gives the ladies some time to recover. Trimmed the burns off of leaves mainly so I can keep a track to see if damage is continuing. Anyways, I hope the above makes sense and draws other newbies attention towards PH ranging for hydro; I have posted a pic which shows the PH range for each important element. Thanks! 😊

Week 3: Roots started getting bigger so I moved the plant to a bigger pot. Watered too frequently so algae began forming on the topsoil surface, note the black cover. Started LST early.

(The longest is from the end) About the ladies: Girls in coco Royal AK- she's drinking every single drop op solution and has literally exploded! I'm really happy about her training (top/lst/hst). A very strong strain. OG Kush- I don't get this girl, she's definitely not an heavy drinker. Speedy Chile FF- when I re-potted her into 6lt pot, some of my Bros hoped for a Baobab, what do you think?😂 (has some mutations, has a growth of 3 leaves and then 2 branches have joined together and the other has grown normally) Ladies in Soil: UK Cheese auto- I've broke a branch due to heavy crop. Lesson learned. Pink Doc CBD auto- she's growing good, finally! The only thing I'm worried about is that she will not grow so much, because switch is near. Candy Kush Express- A really nice lady, not too tall, good side branches and she take everything with no care less (one of the most "broken" in the tent) Special Kush#1- She likes her new pot, but there's something wrong (see leaves) maybe related to VPD or RU? I've used different techniques on this ladies, but the one I like the most is cropping the branches and the main stems and also broke the branches where meets the stems, to give'em more power, and more "space" for nutrients transports in sight of bloom! That's all mate, we will see soon for the next update! Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. 70 days from seed!!! wow I just confirmed once again that Zamnesia seeds are not bad :) the girl is growing really well despite the lack of space, high humidity, the girl just ignores all this and does not pay much attention to it and focuses all her energy on the maturation of the flowers, which are really very stiff ;) Plagron nutrients also worked flawlessly throughout her growth, this is my first growth with these nutrients :) I am happy that they are there, I will definitely use them in the future :) well, there is not much left until the harvest, Good luck to everyone in the competition and in your cultivation :).

The flowers are getting thicker and thicker and are slowly but surely coming to an end 😄. They smell extremely tasty 😍.
