The ladies light schedule was changed to 12/12 on Oct.30!❤️ The girls were doing great about 1 week after their big defoliation and SCROG being put in, I decided to flip to flower. I had been tucking and bending and had achieved about 80-90% canopy coverage, the last bit should fill in this week as they begin to stretch. During the 1st week of flower transition, I continued to tuck and bend where I could, trying to maintain an even canopy of tops, as well as fill in as many of the squares, as evenly as I can. It becomes a morning and night routine, I check on my humidifier, say good morning, and tuck away for about 5 minutes or so, it doesn’t take much at this point. Once the first week of stretch is through, I stop tucking branches and allow the tops to continue to grow upwards. I find that by using a SCROG method, there isn’t really a whole lot to do…I don’t defoliate until week 3, so it’s just feeding every 3-4 days and filling my humidifier! When I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

I started germination of 1 orange sherbert bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get this lady situated into her home. Cant wait! Some Background information on history with Orange Sherbert. I have grown orange sherbert out 3 times and all times had the same result. A shorter extremely branchy robust plant. That dominated the room. Loves training and really ups yeilds doing so. She produces an amazing canopy... just a sea of daggers. Her huge chunky colas pack and amazing orange tangy aroma and just taste like heavenly candy! Barneys Farm hit the nail on the head with this variety! She tends to have a little higher demand for potassium mid flower than most varieties. So a bit heavier on the pk booster and she will be mighty happy! Just a fabulous strain to work with.

Day 85 - the Ripening process is under way! a. fresh DWC with Ripening blend b. after 1 day it already is smelling sweeter in the box Day 86 - smelling wonderful a. the buds are all swelling b. i am surprised with how dense these buds feel Day 87 - stigmas are 80% orange a. had a look at trichomes, we are 100% milky white with no clears to be seen, some amber is coming in! b. she is drinking about 3L of ripening solution a day c. ive already prepared the flushing solution, 15 litres of de chlorinated water and 2ml/L FloraKleen. it will go in NEXT WEEK! Day 88 - wow! a. uploaded trichome microscope photo b. she has gone from drinking 5L a day to now about 2.5! c. uploaded a video d. removed a handful of leaves Day 89 - 12 hours light on/off now a. switched her over to flushing solution, FloraKleen 3ml/L... 15L is a clean DWC bucket. b. she had Ripen for 7 days and will flush for 2 or 3 days. c. the trichomes are perfect for what we are wanting!! Sometimes things don't go the way you want to and are out of your control. That's precisely what happened to me last week. In the middle of summer, it wouldn't stop raining for over a week, causing the humidity to skyrocket in my room. That's the last thing you want in week 8 of flower, especially if you don't have something like a dehumidifier. So unfortunately I found a spot of botrytis developing on one of the main colas... I cut off the whole cola that was infected. The next day I found another spot, unfortunately, so I decided it was time to cut my losses and harvest what was left. I would have loved to let her ripen a week or two more, but that's life sometimes. Fortunately, there are still 2 big, main colas and lower buds left!

Pink Airline (PinkCertz X JetFuelGelato) Gave them a full day of darkness and flushed for two weeks with phd water after flushing with Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish! UVB light did increase trichomes and it appears it sped up trichome ripening, not 100% sure on the ripening tho. WILL UPDATE AFTER DRYIN WITH DRY WEIGHT! 2/18/25 UPDATE..Pink Airline looks SUPER frosty and the colors are beautiful wow I am definitely proud of this strain I have created. She came in at 108 grams=3.8oz so literally a little under 4oz. I will have to grow a couple more and hope to find another pheno like this to keep due to how she grew, the look, bud structure, yield, scent and hopefully the high. Scent is VERY potent smells like fruits somewhat like grapefruit, berries, sweet and gassy candy wow!!

NOTES: Keeping the pH between 5,8-6,0 and EC at around 1,4-1,6 depending on system. EC at 1,5 seems to be optimal and my measurements are staying pretty steady at that level. Humidity is lowered to around 50% if I can. The tops are now at around 45-60cm height from the soil. Continuing the last heavier defoliation/pruning process that I started yesterday at the end of 2nd flowering week. I saw no signs of mold or any other issues as I went through the plants. After this week I'm going to change the nutrient solutions on the tanks and fill them with fresh nutrients with minor changes: Dropping the amount of Grow from 1,5ml to 0,5ml and increasing the amount of Bloom from 1,5ml to 2,5ml. After the change I'm only going to refill the tanks without adding any Grow and will instead increase the amount of Bloom to 3ml. Propably a one more change of fresh nutrients until flushing with Final Solution prior harvesting. Day64 (19.12.) Some more defoliation focusing on the upper growth revealing bud sites below them and keeping off the moisture. Already got a trash bag almost full of leaves since they've been pretty bushy plants on average. Day65 (20.12.) Continuing the last defoliation process. Day66 (21.12.) Continuing the last defoliation process, pretty satisfied with the results so far. Light penetration and airflow have increased greatly so I don't have to worry that much about humidity or possible mold any longer. Each strain has started flowering, all plants are females and buds have started to develop. Defoliating didn't seem to stress the plants as much as I thought it would. Day67 (22.12.) Day68 (23.12.) Refilled and added some nutrients with a stronger Bloom/Grow -ratio (~4:1) and left my girls to enjoy the Christmas Holidays as I did. I'll be gone for around three days, after that I'll change to new fresh nutrients as I mentioned before. One Ayahuasca Purple seems to be ahead of others, and a few other ones have clearly started to develop some buds too, rest of the plants are following closely behind. Each strain has some truly astonishing individuals, and I think Ayahuasca's have shown most variety between different plants. Overall everything looks pretty good I think. Hopefully can say the same after a couple of days as I come back. Happy holidays everyone! Day69 (24.12.) Day70 (25.12.) I added another Led light to my tent just before the lights turned off. Everything looks amazing!

She did stretch very well this week and receive very light LST plus I did add some additional nuts to help her grow healthy
