🦍 Monkey Grease — Harvest Report! 🦍 The first strain harvested from the grow was Monkey Grease, with one pheno coming down at 63 days. Flavor & Aroma: The first pheno gives dry nutty notes with a really unique chocolate milk vibe 🍫🥛 — such a distinctive taste! The other pheno leans more toward a chamomile-like aroma, though I’m still not entirely sure 🌼. Very interesting! Effect: I’d classify it as indica-dominant vibes. Very clean, pleasant relaxation! The aroma is super strong and fills the room.!

This week we have another big jump in height; they are taller than myself. I gave them more bloom nutrients this week and the daylight is waining fast now. We finally got a considerable amount of rain in my area, that was nice and refreshing for all of us including the plants. I hope that as the light continues to drop off significantly and the nights start to get cool, we will start to see some buds 😎🌱

After 12 weeks of flowering and an incredible fragrance, I cut off the larger top blooms. The smaller ones that were covered will be given another 1-2 weeks to ripen. Incredibly beautiful colors, pink-purple-green colored flowers The larger fan leaves were quickly cut off. The scissors were covered in purple resin. The wet flowers were carefully sorted into the drying net. Now they can be dried in the dark at 19°C and a humidity of 50-55%

TUESDAY 7/30: I gave her a little drink of 6.0 ph'd water with kelp me kelp you, great white, and open sesame. I'll give her a little drink of bactrex tomorrow, and a big drink of compost tea the next day, then I'll let her dry all the way out again. WEDNESDAY: I gave her a big drink of Bactrex today and put her in a spot where she'll get another hour or so of direct sunlight. It was a total pain in the ass. I had to squeeze through a bunch of briars. I ripped my shirt and I'm all scratched up now.. so this is not likely to be repeated often. I still have to climb back into the bushes again this evening to retrieve her..😒 I'll take some photos when I bring her indoors tonight. I put a timer on the indoor rig and she's getting a 4 hour nap every night now. THURSDAY: Being out in the 100f heat, she's drying out daily, so I gave her a few sips of freshly brewed compost tea today. In addition to the PK Booster, I brewed in some Big Bloom and Kelp Me Kelp You along with some Great White for the mycorrhizae, and I've started adding Bembe for the carbs and sugars and the extra earthworm castings, and bat + seabird guano that it contains. Normal tie-down training her was proving to be almost impossible in this sized container because as they grow outwards beyond the lip of the cup, you can't get enough leverage on them to train the furthest reaches of the plant....so.... I decided to start my lady on a weight training regimen tonight using some standard and metric deep sockets. I'll just add on smaller sockets to increase the weight as they strengthen and become erect again.💪 She looks like a stoner mechanic's Christmas Tree😂 FRIDAY: I gave her some more compost tea today..she dries out in about 4-5 hours at these temperatures.

Week 10: Buds are stacking and the frost is building! Observations: Week 10 is in the books and the girls are looking beautiful! The bud sites are really starting to fatten up and stack nicely. We are seeing some great trichome production developing on the sugar leaves, giving them a nice frosty look. Looking closely at the pistils, we have a mix right now. Many are still bright white and shooting straight out, which means the calyxes are still swelling and the plant is actively packing on weight. However, on some of the more mature colas, the pistils are just starting to darken, turn orange/brown, and curl inward. Plant Health & Nutrients: Overall, the canopy looks healthy and vigorous. The fan leaves are a very deep, rich, dark green. I did notice some very minor nutrient burn (crispy brown tips) on the edges of some leaves. It's nothing major to worry about, but it tells me the plant is right at its absolute limit for nutrients. I might dial back the feeding/EC slightly (especially the Nitrogen, given how dark the leaves are) so I don't stress her out as she finishes up flower. Next Steps: Going to keep the environment dialed in, keep an eye on those leaf tips, and just let her do her thing! The smell is really starting to come through now.

June 14th update Clone#1 Got chopped last week had balls Clone#2 22 inches growing really well. Much like number 4 in terms of verticals growth but significantly less width. Might be good for people who have less square footage but taller tents Clone#3 18 inches. Short and squat. Interesting structure giving what this plant should be. I bet this one will yield small but interested to see how she progresses/smokes Clone#4 28 inches. Massive vertical growth and side branches are trying to take up the whole tent. Will see how it flowers but its body is preparing for a lot of weight. I expect this one to yield huge General Update 3 remaining females growing very nicely. I’ve never actually seen a cannabis plant that looks like this, seems straight out of the early propaganda but I guess it is a land race. Aside from flipping to 12/12 I’ve also turned on the red leds which will help once flowers start forming. I’m going to continue to give just water at this point. I expect the plants to stretch like crazy giving they are pure sativas but we will see especially with the squat one. I’m also going to be putting in some thin sticks to help support the side branching, if I don’t do this once she starts flowering it will start tipping over Mothers/father plants don’t look too happy. That defoliation I did last week did a number on them. I am seeing new growth so they will all recover. Next weekend I’m moving them into slightly larger pots with newer soil too make them happy. Bueno, sexta semana de esta red cookie gelato, la variedad para mí gusto en lo q va de tiempo para mí va muy bien, va tomando forma interesante entre aromas y evolución de la misma, la pigmentación pero solo de una planta ya q son las tresx ila misma variedad. ahora q ya le queda poco vamos a ver q tal va, de momento sigo con la misma temperatura, intentado bajar la humedad a un punto y ahi intentar mantener, la temperatura igual... 3 semanas más de floración, vamos a ver q tal siguen, para mí gusto, van de lujo... Was bummed out plant got red mites at the end but that’s fine, it didn’t not impact the grow (or at least I didn’t notice.) Harvested at the end of the 6th week of flower. Trichomes had already started turning amber due to heat degradation (couch lock party) what trichomes that were not dust ridden or amber was milky so I’d say it’s ready. Choosing the best time to harvest is still puzzling for me due to the fact that this is my 4th time harvesting cannabis. Thanks for reading... more info to come ...TBC

Week 2 underway and she's developing accordingly. Everything is in the soil so we continue to just let her sip from the reservoir thru the wicks. I'm still misting the top of the soil to make sure she's getting enough to drink.
