Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Perfect for how much seaweed I've added just incase.

Gelato x GMO is taking off in the 15 gallon pot, showing rapid growth every day. The Blue MOBs seem to have stopped growing vertically in the 5 gallon buckets and are now filling out existing branches while they all reach for the sun. The 15 gallon Blue MOB seems to still be growing in height as well as filling out existing branches. Heavy rain has been persistent with few days of direct sunlight yet plants are still growing. Massachusetts ended up receiving the tail end of a big storm so I have not had to water them the entire week, the soil has stayed damp and kept the plants hydrated

More watering: 1,5L every 60 hours Same cocktail: Calmag (0,5ml/L)+ FloraGro (2ml/L), FloraMicro (2ml/L), FloraBloom (1ml/L) + Root booster + Cannazym Feeding soil with guano bat (NPK 3/6/10) for a slow dispersion + dried horn and blood (NOK 13/0/0) for nitrogen add. Protecting plant: sprayed Neem Oil, added diatomaceous earth on soil. I will make a defoliation soon.

I cannot believe how much growth this week!!! I think she has doubled in size!! For the first time I've had to higher the light fixture. It is now almost as high as I can put it. I'm kinda regretting not FIMing her now...... I hope she does not grow much more in height!

The LST method was pretty succesful for the first time. Almost all of my plants reacting how I wanted to them. Only one of them developed a bit slower and that resulted a bit shorter plant-size but thats I think problem of lack of light power. Maybe the next round upgrade will results better plant sizes. Everything is going to the plan. Some defoliation and tiny budsights have to removed. Kinda like lollipopping.

Sorry for the huge delay, I wanted to update this earlier but COVID-19 happened everywhere and many things happened where I live. Nonetheless, I have all the photos and I'll be finishing this diary soon. The smell of both of my babies was quite, quite strong. It even made me feel very dizzy every time I checked them. During the week the leaves from Pistachio started to turn yellow while the ones from Matcha finally started to show signs of the excesses and burn, the mistakes I made earlier started to become more and more apparent so it was only a matter of time. Also, everytime a leaf started to die I removed it as soon as possible... but that might become more evident at the time lapse I uploaded! This was the last week of flower for Pistachio, and I'll leave Matcha a couple more days with some direct light on her (I want her pistils to mature a bit more), but next week is finally the week when I cut them. Trichomes on both plants are ready! 😲 Thanks for reading!

Purple Crack from the Cali Connection Moving into flowering now and she is growing very nicely , lots of potential bud sites developing and Ive done a full Bucket rinse , wash and nutrient change . I also rinsed the roots with some nice clean water to remove anything unwanted. I've also upped the nutrient strength to 4mls per litre and added Big bud to the regime. Having a hard time deciding when to chop her..my second critical..Milky trichomes but not a single amber on the calyxes…the buds have definitely gone through a burst..becoming thicker and dense..some buds falling over so I tied the base with string for support. This week so many white pistils have popped out and sites like reddit or roll it up are telling me some strains have white hairs up until harvest while others claim more time is needed. I think I can wait one more week but after that I’m over it!

ZodaZa - Umami Seed Co. Day 90 🚿 She was twice this week watered with 3L of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pHd to 6.3. I've increased her BioHeaven and Acti-Vera nutrients to help boost her metabolism 💪🏻 ✂️ She has been working hard on bulking her flower again this week! No work required on her this week, as her internodal spacing and low leaf count has made her super easy to manage! 🙌🏻 🌸 Her flower has grown well but still requires bulking! But you can see her other worldly appearance starting to show, with shades of dark green contrasted with the white pistils and dark purple on her sugar leaves - she really is spectacular!! After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 5g of straight well water via garden hose as usual. There goes another week for the Wedding Cheesecake FF and it won't be long before she begins to show signs of pre-flowering! Not much has changed this week..all 3 clones doing ok..back one is struggling a little think it had little nutrient deficiency..think from cloning hopefully it will green up..
