This was a growing for dummies strain with pretty good indica body high. I really didn't have to do anything extra or special. I highly recommend this strain if you like high yielding indicas with a pretty good body high. The taste is above average sweet and spicy and I can't forget that musky banana hint on the exhale. Smell is sweet stanky banana musk. High yielder 168g of quality buds with another solid 84g of lows for extract.

Getting hot here. Scattered thunderstorms, very windy. The girls are loving life. I am hoping the strawberries and cream will be a male. I’d like to see what I can come up with, breeding it with the Afghani Purple Kush and the Platinum Silk. Watering almost daily until I see a bit of water coming out of the bottom. Supersoil is holding strong and keeping them very healthy. I am going to start another Round of sprays with azamax. I will do once every 8 days at 1.5oz per gallon in a pump sprayer. I have seen several leafhoppers on my plants. Most of the other insect life I posted pictures of have not been seen on my plants, except hover flies!

Transplanted her to a 5 gallon pot. Gave her some root stimulator, fed her some nitrogen and just look how lovely they are taking off, my plans are to veg her for a very long time.

Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common. Day 35 to 37 is showing rapid hydroponic growth. The roots are getting very dense at the bottom of the container. There is much less tendency for the roots to grow up into the available space. This makes it more difficult to crack loose and raise the root mass from the bottom of the container.

Still HOT and Sunny with no end in sight. Noticing that pre-flower stretch over the last week, she's towering over me now well over 7 feet tall. Nothing but drip every 5 days and she's thriving. Still amazed in this heat she can go that long without water. Raspberries are plentiful this year, watermelon's coming in beside her and my favorite Himalayan blackberry's are next in the back. Invasive maybe, but an absolute island favorite I've managed to tame.

Today is day 23 of flower. So I've been chasing a minor P-K deficiency. The plants are happy and healthy and are just feeding heavy at the moment. Well over and above any recommended servings with respect to the dry amendments and water soluble P-K inputs. As with any grow regardless of what you're using for inputs (organic amendments/salt based bottle feeding/crop salts/etc....) the recommended feed rates are never anything more than a baseline. So to remedy the deficiency I added the Flower 2 at 1.5 times the reccomended dosage (3 grams per liter of water) and a little over twice the dosage of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom dry amendments (250ml per 7 gallon pot). I also fed a mung bean/barley seed sprout tea as well as a compost tea (2/3 of a cup of each seed). The feed rates will stay well above recommended servings for the Flower 2 but the 250ml addition of the 2-8-4 would be considered a large addition for a single serving so I will give the plants 5-7 days to see how they react to dry amendments before top amending again at any rate (you cant burn your plants with organic inputs but you can still suffer nutrient lockout so you need to be mindful and patient when feeding heavy.) On day 19 of flower I did a large pruning/defoliation/lollipopping of the plants. Both from the top of the pot to the bottom of the first layer of trellis removing everything. I also cleaned the plants out from above the first layer of trellis netting to the top of the plant. As I waited to clean up the bottom third of the plants until my typical strip day in flower (day 18-21 depending on strain and flowering times, these are 9 week strains which is why the strip falls in the day 18-21 range, if they were 8 week finishers the leaf strip would take place somewhere between days 14-16). When running multiple layers of trellis netting it's best to prune/lollipop everything below the first layer of netting about 7-10 days before the flip. Odds are your lights wont penetrate that far down the plant so these areas of the plant typically only produce what's commonly known as larf. I'm running new lights so I decided I'd wait until the big strip I always do in flower. This was grower error. I know better and wont make this mistake again. Its unnecessary stress added during flower that could've been prevented. As I decided to wait to clean out the bottoms I didnt prune the plants as aggressively as I normally would (I adopted Grand Master Levels leaf strip practices years ago, check him out on IG or YouTube if you want to see what that looks like). The week went smoothly with no major issues to report. The seasons are changing here so were getting rain, damp wet snow, and have very humid conditions outside. As a result this affects the atmosphere in my grow room but not enough to cause concern. A little less than 6 weeks until the chop!

Today is day 72 from seed!! This week went real well , 2 of the Forbiddin Runtz have been getting flushed an the rest will also start flush through this next week, I can’t believe the smell of this combo strain,, super fruity smelling an all are super sticky!! Stay tuned for next week yall !

Fast to flower some decently large nugs! This girl is the only one that survived my "initial torture test" for my sf4000(dimmed to 75% (333watts) in quarter of my 3x3 tent)! She was very resistant to "too much light intensity" as a seedling, and didn't mutate! Once the light was at an ideal height, she started vegging very strong, but 1 week of important time had been lost. She started to flower, and stacked up a bunch of dense buds very nicely! I'm very excited to be growing this strain again next run!-with more training.

Great hardy plants growing great together the banana runtz has been producing huge fan leaves and nice buds allready after week two done .. The tropicannacookies has been just bushing right and has my tent smelling like oranges or tangerines it's crazy how good she smells .. They were both LST one more time and will be left to go straight up now ... Gotta thank @ripperseeds from the bomb giveaway that they had these beans are so good ... Cheers

Week 5 of flowering,two more weeks till harvest. She smells strong but not sticky like some strains,there are a lot of trichomes,some of them are milky, so i decided to flush.

I’m very excited about this strain. I’ve wanted to grow this one for 20 plus years. Laws have prevented me from doing that. But now that it’s all gravy baby. I say LETS GROW!!! This plant is true to its name white widow. The buds are covered with white milky Trichomes and the buds are big and super dense. Definitely recommend and I’m going to keep one of these ladies growing at all times so I can trim off a clipping and grow it from there since this clone did so well. It was only 2/3 the time to grow. than starting from seed.

Day 49 Flip day! Just flipped them to 12/12 took loads of leaves off. Let's see if I've guessed the sex right then 😏 I think I've got 3 fems but people still tell me I want know until I've flipped 🤷‍♂️🏼 Update: Day 50 and day 1 of flower looking very happy will give a nice feed when soil dries out. Lights are now maxed out and on Day 51, day 2 of flower I'm sure all 3 are definitely fems will keep eye on them next few days 👀 Update again: Day 53, Day 4 of flower and they looking beautiful 😍

420Fastbuds TrainWreck Auto Week 1 of Veg What up grow fam. These 2 have sprouted ok. Having a little trouble with both, one sprouted with no cotyledons the other only had one. Both had popped after 48hrs of being in the soil. Still misting the top soil with my sprayer to keep the soil moist but will start regular manual watering of 500ml every other day this week. All in all Happy Growing
