Week Recap: Slow and Steady Wins the Race The girls are still on the slower side in terms of growth, but that’s part of their charm. Each leaf is a masterpiece, more intricate and stunning than the last. Their prayer posture remains consistent—a true testament to their health and contentment in their environment. They may be taking their time, but their vitality and uniqueness shine through every step of the way. Environmental Conditions: Keeping Things Balanced This week has been about maintaining a steady environment despite the natural slowdown in growth due to cooler temperatures. • Temps: Daytime 18–20°C, nighttime 14–16°C. It’s a bit chillier than usual, but these resilient ladies are adapting beautifully. • Humidity: Stable at 65%, ensuring the girls remain hydrated and comfortable. • Airflow: Gentle but constant to keep the space fresh and prevent any stagnant air pockets. Feeding Program: Aptus Holland Perfection Feeding remains consistent, and the girls are loving the organic-mineral lineup from Aptus Holland. Here’s what’s in their mix this week: • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L – To strengthen cell walls and increase stress resistance. • CalMag Boost: 0.25 ml/L – For robust development and prevention of deficiencies. • StartBooster: 0.25 ml/L – Enhances early vegetative growth and root systems. The switch to All-in-One Pellets last week has eliminated the need for liquid All-in-One, and the girls seem to be thriving with this natural, slow-release food source. Watering: A Gnat-Free Approach This week, I continued with bottom watering. Filling the trays and letting the soil absorb the water has been a game-changer—not just for healthy root development but also as a part of the war against gnats. Paired with yellow sticky traps, this strategy has kept pests in check while ensuring the roots get all the hydration they need. Growth Observations: Slow but Stunning • Structure: The slow growth might test patience, but the payoff is worth it. The compact, vibrant structure of each plant is breathtaking. • Leaves: Dark green, uniquely shaped, and full of character. Each girl is like an artist’s brushstroke—no two alike. • Praying Posture: Their leaves reach for the skies like they’re soaking up every ounce of light. Still no cloning or flipping to 12/12 yet, as I want them to grow a bit more before making any big moves. Next week, I’ll decide whether to flip them for a brief period to determine sex or wait until cloning is feasible. Photography Spotlight: Capturing the Details This week, I took some time to immortalize their beauty with my Sony A6000 and Nikon DSLR cameras. Harvest time! The colas have swollen up; the main ones are the size of a palm or bigger. I estimate the dried plant will weigh in at just under a kilo. It’s getting 7 days of drying in the tent—in the dark, with a carbon filter running. Then, at least 2 weeks of curing in glass jars. The plant was fed plain water for the entire cycle, so there was no need to flush out nitrogen, and the buds don't spark when smoked. Dense, sticky buds—remotely reminiscent of GHS Super Lemon Haze. I grew Lemon before this, and it really won me over with its flavor and bud density—I even ordered 4 more autoflower seeds of it. Once it’s dried and I’ve had a taste, I’ll write up a smoke report. I’ll also post a review of the gear, nutrients, and anything else you guys ask for in the comments, bros :)

She is still growing and seems happy and healthy..Went into flower yesterday after a month to the date. Lets see. This plant has surprised me a lot. Have two similar, neither going anywhere. This one is the exception hopefully. Currently also moving to a tent. New ventilation etc. The yellow tint to the leaves is due to my camera This is last day Week 4. Literally grew 5cm overnight. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Day 99. Girls are good, even delayed/unmature buds are catching up and i feel like last feed was given already. Should be only water regime from now ... Nothing to add or say.. Fatter, Bigger, Stronger - is theirs target now and slowly they are crawling there ;))))) My cam is still shit, during thirps it made me happy, now when some girls are true beauties - it makes me nervous ;))) Happy Growing !!!

I joined Grow diaries late in my growing career... I wish I would have found this site sooner.. Enjoy! I personally enjoy growing mephisto genetics. I was very happy with the toof decay grow and end result. I ended up letting this cure for 2 months. It is number 2 in my book so far for my adventure with Mephisto seeds. Walter white is #1. I grew this in colder conditions through the winter of 2019. Super dense buds loaded trichs, very loud smell, and great appeal! I have more of these seeds so I will do a start to finish eventually.
