Day 48 - 11/11/19 started this week early by accident. Plant smells like tropical cheese and i cant see the stalk anymore except from the leaves, very bushy and seems to be in a mid stage of flowering. buds are getting bigger by the looks of it. very sticky also! Ive been removing about 2 leaves per day from this one, started with a couple touching the soil and removed a few higher ones today to expose the buds to more light and fresh air. when looking at this plant side on the main cola looks huge and growing more every day. im assuming this is about 2 weeks away from harvest so il probs flush next week. roll on harvest time! other than that the humidity has went up to 50-55 the odd time when watering all the plants. it doesnt stay high long with the heat from the lights so it should be fine. Day 51 - 14/11/19 Still removing the odd couple of leaves every day to let the fresh air get near the main cola, i still cant see it very well but it looks like what a 6-7g bud looks like when its dried aha. the smell can be described as if someone took a cheese strain and added something powerful and herbal/tropical to it. cant wait to order my jewelers loupe in a few days to see where im really at :) and i added a video to show the plant looking all frosty. a few weeks to go now!

Pre98 Bubba , oh how I’ve missed you for so many years! These ones came out absolutely gorgeous! Loving the the purple phenos 😍 ! These ladies liked to stretch quite a bit so you’re gonna want to use some LST on em but I also recommend topping at least 6 times to get a better bang on your yield ! Expect nice tight purple buds with a tremendous amount of frost covering, some of the frostiest Bubba I’ve ever had! Over all I give it 10 stars an would definitely over an over run this strain!

But she has bounced back yet again from a heavy defoliation and topping last week. Trying to keep her small enough to flip in the tent 🤞 She is a demon though!! This week has been same weight gainer for this girl you can see the node stack and the fattness coming ro her. She has a insane smell of like fuel or something interesting!! Looks insane sticky also all that resin is just stacking up!! 💚💚

Week 7 day 3. I stopped giving soluble nitrogen today. 1/2 reduction in soluble pk. Adding solubles in water drops my ph perfect so I don’t use ph down in flower. Now today I start adding a little ph down as the 1/2 strength soluble pk brings water to about 7.4, so reduction to 6.9

This week they came out of the nursery and started to absorb light from their leaves instead of water. Growth is slower with the Northern Lights vs. the Cookies Gelato. “Cookie” is a monster so I will name it “Cookie Monster”, and The Northern Lights is called “Noel” because she will be ready around Christmas… When I was young we used to get “Christmas Buds” around the second half of December, which was Original Northern Lights. It’s a childhood dream of mine to grow Northern Lights, so I’m so excited for her to grow up big and strong.😛

The buds are very frosty, the bottom at the base of the branch looks a bit brownish on some buds, i inspected it with a microscope and didnt find any mold or weird things. There are a lot of amber trichomes tho. I think that's why it looks brown like that. It smells and smokes good, so i think its fine. If someone thinks otherwise, let me know! End results: Buds: 92 Grams Small Buds: 18 Grams Trim: 16.7 Grams Total weight of the buds: 110 Grams. I calculated that i used a total of 72.3 watts this grow, that makes it 1.52 grams per watt! Very happy with the end results, and its by far my personal record hahaha.

Gals are hardening up, guessing 1 more week or so, starting to monitor trichomes. Stopped MKP a few weeks ago but seeng some signs of K def so adding in a small amount at the end of this week (0.5g/gal).

This lady started growing like crazy. She's become really bushy and quite tall, with side branches being mostly equally high all over the plant. Flowers starting to develop well, but smell stays on the weak side. I'm expecting her to slow down and eventually stop growing over the next couple of days. Nutrient-wise I used more or less the same schedule as for my Northern Light lady, only did I now give her phosphorous grains at D7 already: * D7: 25g of organic granular phosphorus grains (bone meal) (6-16-0) * D20: 25g organic granular fertilizer (6-3-3) * D28: 35g organic granular fertilizer (6-3-3) * D35: 30g organic granular phosphorous grains (bone meal) (6-16-0) * D42: 20g of organic potassium grains (2-0-20) I'm really curious about how much (if any) she's still going to grow in size and how the buds will develop over the following weeks. Next few days, will be very warm and sunny!
