Weather isn't so great at the moment. Lots of rain. Had a few slugs so have put down some slug pellets around but not too close to the plants. The branches are nearly holding their position after being tied down. Still no flowers but must be coming soon

Plants are 👊. Tall bushy girls Gelato Sorbet blitching a bit on the top may be light stress or something deficiency but still okay. They are beautiful healthy ones. :*

Flowers really showed up this week. Started feeding flowering nutes as of tonight, so they went 2 full weeks still on veg nutes. Today is the end of week 2 since switching to flowering light schedule. Growth isn’t as explosive as it had been the first two weeks, however still growing. Slowly did some defoliating over the last 2 weeks, opened things up a bit, will do a little more this week and then leave them to grow until harvest. Stay blessed and happy growing 😎

Thank you for reading! By the end of last week I finally had the light up to 100% power. I noticed a bit of curling on my one plant afterwards but I need to soldier on with it all the way up as the other plants are eating it up and loving it. I guess this isn't a true scrog, but I will continue to weave the buds and stems in and out of the net to try and keep as even of canopy as possible. I continue to remove lower offshoots to the nodes and I am really trying to focus just on sites that are getting enough light to make a decent nug. The tent is filling out nicely and I am loving it! If I touch the flowers to bend them under the scrog, my fingers STINK like a beautiful fruit. I can't wait to try this out and I am getting excited. I will continue to use the same nutrient solution mix for this week. As of 17 Nov I am starting to water 2x daily using the formula for 3part GHE listed in the picture above. After 12 hours I can see the 3 gal containers are pretty much dry from the last daily watering. Up to now I was watering everyday once (to runoff 2x a week to flush any of the excess salts away and allow my roots to stretch out a bit). Now that the roots have reached the bottom of the smartpots and fully sticking through, I am going to be watering to runoff at least 5x a week to make sure nothing is building up too much in the later flower weeks. This week went by good plant have some very good bud sites developing on them this strain has done very good and overall happy with the way they are growing

~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. She's over 5 feet tall now and is stretching! She has maintained excellent vigor, color and has shown great resistance to pests and other stressors! 7/6- Yesterday we had a thunderstorm pass through early in the day, which provided about an inch of rain in a short time. I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod approx. 3g of water from the well, via garden hose.🌱🚿. 7/8- The daily watering continues, as does our blistering hot🔥weather. All is well with the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and today, after watering her with 5g of well water, I gave her a good going over, looking at all the leaves topside and underneath and removing any leaves that were either yellowing or had other issues. So I decided to do bi weekly foliar sprays with the Liquid seaweed on top of the weekly Silica foliar sprays. I can say that I am seeing amazing results the plants are growing from every which way and getting nice and lush. Just pray for some rain!

The plant is now in the final ripening stage and is clearly approaching harvest. Bud development is fully complete, with swollen calyxes and no further vegetative growth. Most pistils have darkened and receded, while trichomes are predominantly cloudy with the first signs of amber appearing. Resin production is very heavy, showing strong frost and deep purple coloration alongside a natural fade of the fan leaves. Feeding has been reduced to support a clean finish, with the next 7 days focused on controlled ripening and terpene preservation before harvest.

I'm a couple days late on updating, but everyone is in the ground! They spent almost a week outside hardening off. One night despite the forecast it got down to 38F and I was very worried, but it didn't phase them much. I stuck them in with my tomatoes as camouflage and added seaweed as mulch which I need to finish. We finally got rain yesterday, the first we've had in weeks so I'm sure the garden is grateful. I'm using tomato cages again this year because last year they worked great. I think everything is in the video.
