Decent strain to grow. Finished mid October. Did pretty good against mold and pests. Earthy lemoney smell. Fed 6 part GH nutes through a drip feed system.

Welcome to week 1 of my New Diary to Rule Them All!!! Here's the line up: 2 - CBD Medi Kush by Spliff Seeds 3 - DinaMed CBD+ by DinaFem 1 - Critical+ by DinaFem 3 - Cream & Cheese CBD by Seedsman 7 - Cherry Blossom CBD Hemp by Elevator Supply Co The 2 CBD Medi Kush plants and 2 of the DinaMed CBD+'s were all started from seed at the same time. All others are clones taken from cuttings from the plants I currently have in flower (the flowering plants are in the video). So the cuttings and seedlings were in my humidity for roughly a month. The first round of cuttings didn't do so well, so I took some more cuttings later when the plants were further into flower. A couple of the cuttings I took further into flower look amazingly good now, tons of nodes, branches, etc. Looking like a little bush. Once all surviving clones/seedlings were healthy enough I transplanted from dixie cups to small pots (I guess around 1 litre). They were transplanted into soil I had been composting and turning for 3-4 weeks. They really responded well to the transplanting and the new soil. Noticeable growth in 48 hours. My plan this grow is to go organic (or as organic as possible). While the soil was composting I added old fan leaves to the mix as well as Recharge, Mr B's Green Trees 'Growth', and Jobe's Organic granular fertilizer. I know, I know, everyone says don't use time release nutes with cannabis. BUT, The Rev said it was fine in his "True Living Organics" book. He actually recommends putting spikes in the flowering pots prior to transplant (I'm planning on trying that too). Recharge and Mr B's Green Trees don't claim to be organic specifically for whatever reason, but the ingredients include pretty much everything The Rev recommends adding to composting soil. Plus I love Recharge, that stuff is great! Organic or not I'll be using Recharge along the way. Here's the setup... First of all, I'll let you know my grow area is in my attic. The previous owners finished the attic with walls lights and even carpeting, but for some reason kept the folding attic stairs. Its pretty a pretty good space, we divide the attic in half. One side for my plants, they other for attic type storage. I have 2 2x4 tents and a larger flowering area (10x12'ish). One of the tents I use for drying only, the other is where I have these babies growing. The babies are currently under a single Viparspectra V300 300W LED. I'm having really good results with Viparspectra LED's. Bang for the buck, Viparspectra is hard to beat. I have a 2nd 300W Viparspectra which is a R300 (more reds) which is better for flowering. I may stick the R300 in the tent as well at some point, but for now the single V300 is doing a great job. In the flowering area I'm running 1000W HPS. The HPS has been kicking ass with the plants in flower now and I'm expecting more of the same with these girls when they are ready for the big time. Side note: I'm running a separate diary for the Spliff Seeds CBD Medi Kush. In that diary I'm just going to focus on the CBD Medi Kush specifically. But I did start the CBD Medi Kush and DinaMed CBD+ seeds at exactly the same time. So, in this diary I will do some comparisons and contrasts between the 2 strains as they grow. So far the DinaMed is taller, but the CBD Medi Kush has beautifully stacked node structure. This looks like its going to be a win-win. I'm also planning on doing an autoflower challenge soon. I want to try 2 plants in the flower room under 12/12 1000W HPS from seed to harvest and 2 other plants in my veg tent under 18/6 300W LED then see what the results are. I have the seeds picked out that I plan on using, but I'll keep that quiet for now in case I change my mind. Please follow and comment away!!! New week and this means official flowering for the girl, stretching, preflowers, pistils and a big smile after some 9 weeks of vegetation and mainline formation. I believe this is a very promising strain very sturdy, never seen any slowing of growth after any cutting or stress low or high and hoping for some big fat frosty colas with the new addition of more missing nutes such as Silica, voodoo juice and sensizym as I believe roots are very important too and I saw immediate results when I added those missing elements to my other autoflowering plants which apparently stopped drooping just before lights off and just from day 2 and never saw them droop since...check other diary... Peace Mid week update: Had to take a few more shots of this lady as Im impressed the way the buds form so quickly and look so packed even from such early stage, it proves the main lining technique works and will deliver what promises, big fat dense colas...

The tropicana cherry is a magnificent plant. Its stocky and stout with really great node space. I love how solid she is and i just see such a good foundation for stretch. A really explosive week of growth. I pushed PPFD up to 310umols. Dimmers are at 60% which is drawing 224w plus 18w of DRRB. I have alos started Emerson effect ... Another The Emerson effect is triggered by the simultaneous exposure of plants to light in the deep red and far-red spectra Deep Red 660 nm /Far-Red 700 nm . A bit of boring science that explains why you need both far red and deep red in order to trigger Emerson. The effect occurs because photosynthesis is driven by two distinct pigment systems working in series:Photosystem II (PSII): Absorbs energy most efficiently at shorter wavelengths (higher frequencies), like 680 nm (441 THz). Photosystem I (PSI): Absorbs energy most efficiently at longer wavelengths (lower frequencies), specifically 700 nm (428 THz). When you provide only the higher frequency (deep red), PSI becomes a bottleneck. When you provide only the lower frequency (far-red), PSII is not sufficiently excited to provide electrons. Providing both frequencies simultaneously allows both systems to work at peak efficiency, resulting in a rate of photosynthesis that is greater than the sum of the two lights used individually. To understand the Emerson Effect, think of photosynthesis not as a single engine, but as a two-stage assembly line. What is the Emerson Effect? Discovered by Robert Emerson in 1957, this phenomenon shows that plants perform photosynthesis much more efficiently when they are hit by two specific types of light at the same time: Deep Red (660 nm) and Far-Red (700+ nm). If you give a plant only Far-Red light, photosynthesis is very slow. If you give it only Deep Red, it's better but still limited. However, when you give it both at once, the total rate of photosynthesis is significantly higher than if you just added the two results together (1+1=3). What is Happening? (The "Assembly Line") Inside the plant's chloroplasts, there are two "workstations" called Photosystem II (PSII) and Photosystem I (PSI). They work in series, meaning the first one must pass "parts" to the second one. PSII (The First Station): This station is tuned to catch Deep Red light (660 nm). It harvests electrons from water. PSI (The Second Station): This station is tuned to catch Far-Red light (700 nm). It takes the electrons from the first station and uses them to create energy (ATP and NADPH). The Problem: If you only provide Deep Red light, the first station works fast, but the second station can't keep up because it isn't being "powered" efficiently by that specific frequency. This creates a traffic jam of electrons. The Solution: By adding Far-Red light, you power up the second station. It now "pulls" the electrons from the first station much faster, clearing the traffic jam and making the whole assembly line run at full speed. The Benefits for The Grow Because i am using the Biotabs water-only method, my plants already have a steady supply of organic nutrients. Implementing the Emerson Effect offers several distinct advantages: Increased Biomass: Because the "engine" is running faster, the plant produces more sugars and carbohydrates, leading to heavier fruits or flowers. Faster Finishing: Plants often reach maturity sooner because they have more surplus energy to complete their life cycle. Better Light Penetration: Far-Red light is very good at passing through the upper leaves. This "wakes up" the lower parts of the plant that would otherwise be shaded, allowing the whole plant to contribute to growth. Enhanced Secondary Metabolites: In many crops, this synergistic light can stimulate the production of terpenes and antioxidants, improving the "quality" (smell, taste, and potency) of the final harvest. The "Sunrise/Sunset" Trick I am using 4x Invisible sun Far red/Deep red bars,they use high-quality Samsung LH351H (660nm Deep Red) and specific Far-Red (730nm) diodes for 10–15 minutes at the start or end of the light cycle. This mimics the natural shift in light at sunrise and sunset, "waking up" the photosystems or signaling the plant to go into "sleep mode" faster, which can further optimize the flowering cycle. Enviromentally i am chasing a VPD of about 1,1kpa. My room seem to sit nicely at lights on at 24c with no real drama and a little help from a 220W greenhouse bar radiator. Its using abot 4kw/h a day atm because my room is attached to the side of my house and its been -5c.. I have had to add some humidity as its also very dry atm. Im aiming for RH of 65% with my 24c but it is more around the 62s.. VPD is crucial and is the focus for this grow for me. The autopots and Biotabs make it so easy ican really just focus on perfect enviroment. A VPD of 1.0–1.2 kPa provides enough "atmospheric pull" to move calcium and magnesium up from the roots, which is critical for the rapid cell division happening now.. Plants will be flipped on Saturday which is their week 5 as im a bit behind.. As this happens i will push PPFD upto 4-500umols. by week 2 of flower. Thats the plan anyway..

It's been 47 days of flower now and The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are. usually companies would charge more. Thanks mars you guys are awesome 🤘🥁🎸. I'm getting a new exhaust fan soon. An 8 inch that will work alot better than my 4 inch lol. Wayyy to small for a 8x8 Grow Tent. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. The girls are starting to bulk up abit now and only 3 weeks of flowering, these lights are awesome 👌.  My last run of monkey dough and gorilla glue didn't start showing alot of crystals until week 4. These were only 2.5 weeks and I started noticing some frost. Next week I will be able to tell more about what these custom bred seeds will be like. I love how the smell is changing now. 5/3/2020 this is my first grow. Today I took the seedlings and put them in there pots. Tomorrow ill start the lights. I added... 2 tsp Big Bloom ¼ tsp Holy Mackerel 1 tsp Boomerang 5/4/2020 I just checked on the seedlings. There both already popping there heads out of the ground already. 5/5/2020 Turned the light on for the first time for this grow and for the first real time ever. Added: 1 tsp Kelp I kelp you ¼ tsp Kangaroots ¼ Microbe Brew 5/6/2020 First real leafs sprouted today! 5/7/2020 Nothing to report today. A rest day. I will be just giving the. Plain water for the next couple weeks. 5/8/2020 I gave her a little less than ½ gallon of PH'd water. (Around 6.5PH) I can see the 2nd set of leafs growing. And she's about 1¼" tall. 5/9/2020 She's seems to be coming a little slow. I'm worried I messed something up. Overwaterkng lights to close? Idk. Im more worried about the Zkittlez Auto a little more than this g.g. I'd really hate to see i messed them both up. * also added a vent to the outside for the exaust fan. I think this will help a ton and it seems to be working pretty good. I'm going to be getting a Ac Infinity cloudline t4 fan in pretty soon this will help a ton.

Week thirteen for the Sticky Broccolis. Day 39 of 12/12. #1: Well, did not take her out of the tent for pictures this week cause she will surely fall in all directions. This one is huge and looks like she will get some really long and big buds. But this will be a very tight finish for the contest. She just got five weeks left when there should be some dry buds shown … let's see if she'll make it in time! #2 This one is still going strong. Bud development and resin production are on a high level and just hoping for a smooth finish. Had to fix her up a bit to stabilize her already but despite this there wasn't much to do :)

The buds are fat, making the branches lose strength, they have considerable resin. It smells like tropical mango with a stench in the background. It is a long-lasting sativa but I stopped providing magnesium and other nutrients before so as not to affect the flavor after harvesting, it could last a few more weeks, but I believe it will be harvested soon. If it gets weak, I will do some extraction. I stoeppd feeding at all now. For a pot of just 3.7 liters (1 gal), it is very well evolved and grown.

It starts to smell creamy tropic fruits, very smooth, i can smell the notes of Gelato im so excited even over fertilised she has terps ?
