Week 6/day 41

Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

Ha quedado una planta con muchas ramas compactas, distancia internodal corta y toda la rama esta llena de cogollo y resina. Tremendo el trabajo por parte de mis patrocinadores, como siempre XpertNutrients, Anesia Seeds y Marshydro no fallan. Con la nueva iluminación + los adlite se ha incrementado el tamaño de las flores, la cantidad de resina y el olor es mucho mas fuerte que otros grows.

Not even sure if they’re actually in week 10 haven’t really been taking too many pictures. Really loving the gorilla cookies and how big they are vs the apricot auto in the closer left corner. All other 3 are gorilla cookies autos. Just started feeding just distilled water for now and flush them to get for hatbest

Que hay familia, volvemos con malas noticias, un ejemplar salió hermafrodita y toco sacarla de su hueco os dejo fotografías de algunas ramas. Las 2 que quedan no pintan mal , se me fueron mucho de altura pero bueno XL. Ph controlado en 6,5 temperaturas máximas 28 y mínimas 19 , sin problemas aparentes. Variedad algo difícil para principiantes.

Coalas are now so fattened up they are toppling over. Not had this before so have just propped them up. Have trimmed a few leaves to get a bit more light in and some of the top leaves have started to die off so not long to go now. However, still no amber trichomes so patient I must be.

Day 43 - First day of week 7 today and she looks really good just not sure if she’s really starting to flower yet. I’m hoping this is just typical of the GC strain. Day 44 - No major changes, she’s growing and I’m loving the looks of her. Will continue uploading daily pictures. Day 45 - She’s looking really good and budding more and more each day. Gave her straight pH’d water today and tomorrow and will give her another feeding on Saturday. She’s drinking almost a gallon of water a day. Day 46 - Things are looking good with this girl. Bud sites are growing daily and this thing is a beauty. Gave her another feeding of just pH’d water and will “feed” her tomorrow. Day 47 - ALL is looking good and she’s looking purdy. Gave her a feeding with the foxfarm nutes today. Did a true measurement to the biggest branch and she’s at 25.5”. Will continue to measure each day to see how much she’s growing in a 24 hour period. Day 48 - Looking gorgeous and still stretching. Grew another two inches and is sitting at 27.5” right now. She’s really starting to fill in now and looking forward to the next few weeks. Day 49 - The way thing thing is growing, she’s gonna be a beast. Gave her straight pH’d water tonight and will give her a feeding tomorrow. Looks like she finally stopped stretching, sitting at 27.5” still so hopefully she’ll start putting on the weight.

Still busy this week, will chop this weekend

All started to flower and the stretch begins! Lost a few tops with training. I will opt for just topping instead of LST (too time consuming) Will start slowly dropping nitrogen and increase phosphorous and potassium with some molasses! Last two shots are of last bit of LST and leaf tucking/defoliating

I topped the plants at the end of week 2 veg. The plants are starting to take off. Things are looking good. Oh stable and PPFD on point.

Very beginning of week 10. She is gearing up for flower. She is stretching, but I keep pulling everything down. She has been 36 inches for a month. She is about 41 wide. 8/13 Her pot was on the dry side. Gave her 2 gallons of water. I'd say 10 percent run off. I use the ph strips. I bring water home from my job. Their water is the perfect PH according to the strips. I test her run off today. Looks like a low 6. 8/14 2 gallons of water with 8 tablespoons of fox farm Big Bloom and 1 teaspoon of recharge. I do like the foxfarm products. Some Big Bloom can make a sick plant healthy. Have to check, think she is ready to be fed. 8/16 per 2 gallons 4 ml Grow Big, 4 ml Tiger Bloom 1/2 teaspoon Open Sesame 8/18 4 Tablespoons Foxfarm Bigbloom and 1/2 teaspoon recharge. Per Gallon 1 day I will get a ph meter. First year spent enough. The plants look very healthy. Unless the strips are completely worthless, she looks to be in her happy place. She was fed very well the past week. I might do 1 more water then feed. She is forming her sites. 8/13. Makes it easy to space the sites out. Also to know what to remove. Have to force myself to cut off what's not making it. Think flower.

This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

As expected, the girl grows well, the flowers enlarge, the resin appears and the girl smells wonderful. I'm running it all the time, she still has plenty of time. 😉

Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. I’ve got my exhaust system and fan running continuously to ensure no mold develops. 📸 Final Updates: I’ll check in again with an update just before harvest to let you know how things are looking. Remember, I’m posting new pictures and videos of my plant every day. 🌱 Day 70 - Last Day Before Harvest 🌱 Hey Grow-Friends! 😄 Today marks the final day before harvest, and I couldn’t be more excited! As planned, I’ve kept the plant in darkness for the last 48 hours and haven’t watered it for 6 days. My goal is to let it sit in the dark until this evening, when the time finally comes to chop it down. 🌿✂️ Drying Decisions 🌬️ After much research and considering several factors—especially the high humidity in my tent—I’ve decided to go with wet trimming instead of dry trimming. I know dry trimming is often recommended for better bud quality and taste, but my main concern is avoiding mold at all costs. So, to play it safe, I’ll wet trim the buds, get them into the right size, and then place them in a drying net for about 7 days. Timing Concerns ⏳ I’m still figuring out the best timing for transferring the buds into curing jars. Since I’m wet trimming, I won’t be able to rely on the classic “stem snap test” to check dryness. But we’ll figure that out as we go along! Final Reflections 🌟 It’s been an amazing journey, and although I could push the grow a little further, I believe this is the perfect time to harvest.
