Week 12 the Apple fritter still growing really good no damages or defects of any kind got lots of white hairs that have shot and I believe it is in its first real week of transition. Looks like it’s gonna have a big stretching week and we’ll see about having some little popcorn buds in the next week or so first big transitional week. The apple fritter is over 8 feet wide and over 8 feet tall Was really really growing fast right now. I expect it to finish around 9 x 9 excited to see some giant apple fritter cola’s.

Green gelato is an awesome strain that keeps evolving. A real pleasure for the eye to see. Royal gorilla isnt showing so much progress.. going a bit slow. Is like half the progress of Gelato. And they have exactly same conditions. Going to start using more supplements at the start of next week. Was hoping to veg only 4 weeks, nut feelslike ii will have to double atleast.

Do I just keep doing what binding until the pistols all turn brown.

Very solid strain from Sweetseeds despite some problems of nutrient accumulation, very resinous and compact. The curing phase in a Cvault is in progress and it develops a good Skunk, Fruity, sweet smell. Undeniably strong Indica effect.

Starting to flower this week, Dropped my lights closer to canopy and started giving full strength nutes + big bud and bud candy from here out :)

The buds are forming! Changed to a nicer light recently, light is great, although my mars hydro 600w did me justice. This new one I got of amazon for under $100 is 1000 watt led and crushing it. It has increased temps significantly which is a bit tough for me to control given my tent is in a closet. Also it is starting to getting less humid outside, so I reduced airflow in the tent to keep the humidity at 50. I have a small humidifier coming soon (oddly a Corporate work gift lol).

Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were. But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results. Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week. But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest. First week of flowering. Girls are super happy. And drink a lot. I very much prefer the lower plant count with 8 plants. And I’m probably not going to go back to more than 9 plants. Perhaps will even try 6 or 7. 12 or 16 was a bit of overkill. Maybe with super short veg it has its place. 26.01 first day of flower.

Had no time for the harvest so i took the risk and let her grow, under a rain cover. Im surprised that i didnt spot any bud rot! Removed fan leaves for better airflow. The weather makes it hard for her to fatten up, so i will give her one more week to finish up. Shes super frosty and has such an amazing smell. I did harvest 3 small branches that are drying and curing right now, looking forward to the smoke test.

Started to show some Phosphorus and / or Calcium deficiency. Flower comes on fast for this strain, gave her two feeds with an increase of CalMag and “P” from my NPK nutrient line and she looks great again. Such a short life span for this Autoflower strain, problems come fast! This is the end of her 8 weeks, tricomes are almost all cloudy with a few clear, she still has a bit to go before she is done. She is LOUD, ordered a new filter for the big tent to accommodate some funk I have coming up in ranks at the moment, more to come! 🌱😎💨

Day 7 of flowering: Now we are moving. The Mimosa lemon is getting her groove on without doubt. She has taken to the l.s.t training perfectly now andnher many tips are all in a good position for the stretching period now. She has a lot of really vibrant looking budlets forming on each tip now and providing I can keep them where they are as they try to go vertical, it should lead to a good stem filled structure of long colas. Below decks is looking nice and healthy too with some airflow already . If I can keep them in good light and air then I will avoid the defoliation with this happy girl. So far they have still only had water as feed and there is no sign of any hunger or deficiency to concern me. I am very impressed with this strain and as a Christmas bonus to the purchase too. 16 seeds of it free. So far a great grower. The fact she is so well laid out also gives me hope of a good yield. Being a 9 week flowering hybrid of Auto Tangie and Purple punch , we have 8 more weeks to get her to show her beauty and produce that cocktail of citrus and berries. Working her to this point has been very simple and she has met the l.s.t challenges without trying. A very easy to grow and work with strain so far. Glueberry is looking very odd at present. She isnt looking overfed or deficient but something is amiss. She is in flower but still very bunched up looking with a few curled tips to the fan leaves. She isn't stretching out like the Lemon has at all and looks like she doesn't like something. !. I am holding back on her waterings for the next few feeds to see if she is too damp maybe. I am not too worried about her yet but I am also moving her to a better lighting position to hopefully help her get stretching out properly. So there we have it growmies. Both doing OK and hopefully a lot bigger for the next update. be safe and well.

I had a fun experience growing this strain. She started out strong and finished pretty strong! The buds are covered in THC and smells sweet. The only thing I would really do better next time is trying not to nutrient burn her as much as I did towards the end. I also experimented with harvest time and came to the conclusion that the it's best to harvest a few weeks after their recommended time if you want denser buds (in my opinion). I do wish the buds were a bit more dense but I'm not a pro grower and that could be the reason for that. It's all a learning experience. It could be the strain because I'm going a Gorilla Cookies (FastBuds) and those buds are huge and don't have as many leaves. Overall I'm blessed with the outcome and I'm going to enjoy the perfectly dried buds soon :D I hope you all enjoy the little videos and music! haha I've only grown one plant before this which resulted in less than an eighth of bud so I'm beyond happy to say the least lol Let me know if you have any questions regarding growing and for some possible tips!
