Did a little outside action this week as I had to clean out the tent and make some ventilation adjustments I’m 9 weeks in on these plants and it kinda has me wondering why I’m not seeing much more vertical growth I’ve decided to pull the light up a bit and decrease the intensity let ‘‘em work for it a little bit.They are healthy tho and as usual the vegetation never fails to impress happy growing yall

Day 64 - beastmode - ripening time a. this plant is huge, drinking 7L a day, almost 8 b. the buds are like rocks, so dense, ive never felt stems this rigid c. keeping her nutrients up high by changing DWC out to Ripen blend, and the PH at 6.0 - it is this plants favourite in DWC d. will ripening these for 2 weeks, then flush and harvest, trichomes are 50/50 clear milky, pistils are just starting to turn pink e. all of the big main colas have been tied back because they are huge Day 65 - explosions a. calyxes are exploding all over the buds b. buds are covered in resin, it was the perfect time to start the ripening process c. she is drinking 7L of ripening formula a day, the buds are rock hard, I had to tie them all back further d. I think we have about 3 more weeks to go! 2 ripening, 1 flush! Day 66 - buds are still swelling up a. the pistils are beginning to turn pink, some of the tips, 1/2mm are orange b. drinking 6-7L a day still Day 67 - monster a. the buds are covered in crystals, the trichome heads are 50% clear still b. the pistils are just starting to turn a little orange 1mm tip of pistil is orange Day 68 - maturing nicely a. the buds are very fragrant and floral, alot like pineapple express b. she is drinking 6L a day right now, ripening blend at 1500ppm Day 69 - buds are rocks a. these buds keep growing! they are very hard, and very sweet smelling b. there is oily sticky resin all over the place c. if you ever want to grow big fat buds like this, and all my plants use Ripen! Day 70 - growing very well! a. will be reducing the light next week to 8 hours off and 16 hours on, the following week 12/12 this will allow the buds to mature properly b. adding some plain PH 6.0 water to start slowly dropping PPMs

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Day 15: From today, 600W LED is placed. Ventilation runs at the same time when the lamp is on +15min after the lamp is off. 20 hours on, 4hours off. Fertilization starts on Monday, Wednesday, Friday with Epsom salt, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday with bat guano. Water intake 25ml per plant per day plus some triggering spray. They are a bit small so the ventilation "swings" them especially Blackberry Kush and the LSD-25 because they are tallest ones. Day 16: This is new thing for them ventilation and strong lamp. They swing and they need some time. This is why they look weird a bit because they keep swinging and the head of the plant tries to be placed where the light is but sometimes they fell. Day 17: Not a good idea to use triggering spray when the 600W lamp is on it burns. My Colorado Cookies has burnt a bit... Day 18: They are stronger the ventilation does not shock them that much. Glueberry OG needed some assist. Day 20: Yesterday I did not take any picture. They are all cool growing nicely. They are strong enough and no more problem because of the ventilation they are stable.
