deFharo 26/12/20 - D14 Mi segunda semana de vida... todo nuevo para mi!! Mi Boss me ha cambiado el encapsulado superior y lo ha puesto en la base, ahora veo mejor y siento como si estuviera flotando, también una humedad muy agradable en los pies!! 😉, además me han cubierto la superficie con paja para que no me enfríe... dice mi Boss que este será un invierno duro!! 😷 Esta semana he comenzado a compartir apartamento con otras plantas como yo, soy la pequeña, por eso me han puesto un pedestal para que esté más alta y mis compañeras no me den sombra. En este apartamento la luz siempre está encendida, no es la misma luz de la ventana, tampoco tiene vistas, pero estoy calentita y muy bien... estoy Happy!! 😍 Cuando llega el día y la luz del sol, me sacan a la ventana, allí he conocido a otras plantas, no son como yo pero acabaremos siendo amigas!! deFharo 30/12/20 Hello diary!! Today I got a scolding from my grower for being behind on my diaries, so today I'm going to catch up... I've been distracted observing the world around me... it's fantastic!! It's really cold in these latitudes, I knew it wasn't the time to grow... my boss puts me on top of the router so my roots can stay warm... it's nice!! 31/12/20 Today it started as a cloudy and rainy day, the light is scarce by the window, but I don’t need much in these first weeks of life!! 😊 This morning I felt a different sensation at the base of my pot, I mentioned it to my boss, he looked, and his face changed.... he's happy!! 😁, he congratulated me... I'm happy!! 😍, he says my roots are vigorous, poking out vertically from the base in immaculate white thanks to my lower encapsulation, my roots are searching for substrate and moisture and now they're in direct contact with oxygen... my boss celebrated by giving me a signed poster, he says he wants me to look like the girl in the photo, a certain Janis Joplin... I like it!! 😘 01/01/21 Last night there was a lot of noise, humans were partying, celebrating the new year, hugging, laughing, and drinking... they were talking about forgetting the year 2020 as soon as possible... I didn’t understand!! 😟, I asked my grower about this and he said that humans have had a very tough year, that they've had a plague, similar and lethal like some that we plants have, but my boss says to be calm that this virus won’t affect me and that he will take care of me... I love him!! 😍 I've grown 2cm and my first true leaves are getting bigger every day, with them I will catch light better and keep growing and growing, plus now that I'm taller I have a better view from the window, I see other plants very different from me, they are outside, I’ve tried to talk to them but they don’t hear me because there’s glass in the way... my boss tells me that when the weather gets better he will open the window and I will be able to do it.... I'm very anxious!! When will the weather improve? 😳 03/01/21 Today my grower gave me great news... he got a seed and has put it to germinate, he tells me it’s a distant relative on my mother’s side (Amnesia Haze) so I won’t be alone... I want to meet her as soon as possible, to know where she was born, where her family lived... I want to know everything, everything!! 😃 From my window, I see the "incubator" of my cousin, on top of the router and with the same wool hat that covered me... deFharo Dear diary, this week I've grown 3cm up and three down... I'm getting older!! 07/01/21 Today I spent the whole day looking out the window, it's all light and color!! 😘 My closet is sad, although at least it's warm and gives me light when the day ends, I've been signaling to the other plants through the glass, but they don't move, they don't respond, it seems hard for them, their leaves are very thick, not like me, who am light, elastic, and graceful... I love myself!! 😍 11/01/21 I've already developed my third node, my grower is very happy, but mostly because he told me that my roots are growing perfectly; white, hairy, vigorous, and very vertical... he told me that if I keep this up, next week he will transplant me to a bigger pot, which will be my home for life!! 😊 I asked him what pot he will put me in, but he said he doesn't know yet, but that he has something special reserved for me!! Yayyy!! He also told me that if I behave well and keep growing, he will give me a flowering cabinet all to myself!!... how lucky!! 😋 Last night my boss asked me if I was thirsty, because he says I consume a lot of water, I had to explain that the temperature these days and my size don't need more, that for now my roots are growing freely through the pot holes and capturing the ambient moisture. Even so, last night my grower watered me with lukewarm water that felt really good, plus since that watering I feel a tickling in my roots, my boss says it's the Microorganisms he inoculated me with and that they will be my eternal helpers for the flow of nutrients and minerals throughout my being. This morning I met them!! 😳 they are very, very small, I can't see them, I can only feel and hear them 😞, they told me they constantly need the energy I produce, captured from the light... the sugar, because the MM are diabetic and don't store sugar, if they have it, they will work day and night to solubilize the nutrients from the soil and pass them to me... I'm not sure I can do it... I'm very small 😨... I'm going to ask the boss... I have it clear now!! 😊 I just spoke with the boss and he told me not to worry about the sugar, he will give the MM molasses and also organic matter for them to eat and reproduce by the millions and keep my roots very functional to absorb all the nutrients I need... Yeah, what would I do without my boss?!! 😁 Today we were all happy, well except for my boss's dog, who ignores me and just wants to eat and play... he's a show-off!! Today to celebrate the day we took a selfie, my boss, my cousin Sweet Amnesia Haze, and me... I'm bonding with my cousin, although she's still very little and speaks little, I take care of her like she's my big sister, we even sleep in the same bed. Really, the days this week are very calm and even monotonous, my boss works hard to keep us warm, as the outside cold is a lot... but today the routine was broken!! a very pleasant and stimulating vibration ran through my whole body... I discovered music!! 😁... I'm so excited that my grower set up a stage for me, and said... let the party continue!! and he also gave me a ladybug to decorate my little pot... my first jewel!! 😁 In this improvised disco, we danced, sang, and made choruses, to end up drenched with the uncontrollable excitement of two inseparable friends!! - And when I'm lonely, Cherry's there --And she plays along while I sing out my blues... - Maybe we could talk 'bout things - If you was made of wood and strings... - Her name is AKU, we've just met.... ... deFharo 14/01/21 I’ve completed one month of life, I’m 12cm tall and I’m happy, especially when I’m by the window looking at the sky. Today my boss took me outside, there was a nice winter sun and he said it would be great for photosynthesis. I finally met the outdoor plants, they’re weird. I’ve been told they’re from the cactus family, they seem a bit unsociable, they have spikes and I’m scared to get close... 19/01/21 It’s been sunny for two days and I enjoy every afternoon outside. My boss is happy about the numerous vertical roots that are showing at my base, he says that this way my roots won’t get tangled in the pot and I’ll be able to breathe better!! 😍 I’m getting thirstier every day... I like to stay hydrated 😅 20/01/21 Today has been a very special day, with lots of changes... I loved!! 😘 Today I was expecting my new pot, actually I was expecting it yesterday, but my boss couldn’t and promised me that today would be the day... I could hardly sleep from excitement!! 😳 it’s my coming-of-age... I’m a teenager!! my boss told me so!!... I loved!! 😍 In the morning my boss put me by the window, the day was cloudy, but the temperature of 15°C was ideal. After a while, a strong wind started blowing... terrified and fearing for my life, I screamed for help!! 😱 ... Ha Ha Ha, it’ll be great for strengthening your stem and branches!! my boss said, laughing at me... it’s not fair, I was really scared 😔, because the wind is not the same as the air from the fan in my tent, the wind comes and goes, changes direction and intensity... it makes me dance!! 😍 This afternoon the process to change my pot began, my boss chose a very modern one, big and full of bumps and holes, I don’t know 😒, it’s a very technological style and I’m a classic strain... to calm me down, my boss assured me that it’s the biggest he has and that my roots will spread a lot and be well oxygenated, and that will make me a big and beautiful plant. Plus, if I keep growing strong like I have been, he’ll put a flowering tent just for me... I Loved!! 😍 I’ve seen the whole process and the components of my new substrate, I’m learning a lot, my boss explains it very well to me... two light soils based on peat, a bit of homemade bokashi to provide nutrients and microorganisms, worm humus to give structure to the soil and promote humification and microbiology, coconut fiber activated with microorganisms to retain moisture, aerate the substrate and inoculate MM, a good handful of perlite, vermiculite, river sand, and zeolite to facilitate drainage and oxygenate the substrate... Ah!! and the minerals!! I really liked these, they definitely add what the substrate was missing, mostly plant-based... basalt, phosphoric rock, kaolin clays, illite, and montmorillonite to give me silica and favor the cation exchange of nutrients, azomite rich in magnesium, aluminum, and many other minerals, a bit of dolomite to balance the pH and provide calcium, leonardite to give structure to the soil, retain moisture and provide humified organic matter, pumice stone and ash to complete the mineral contribution... ...and as a final touch, the ones responsible for processing these minerals and substrate components, so that I can assimilate them, are the Microorganisms. My boss added activated charcoal with MM, excellent for retaining moisture and nutrients, and Solid Mountain Microorganisms... Wow!! I’ve been anxious the whole time, eager to get into my new substrate!! 😻 I’m already in!! in my new pot, with my new substrate... I loved!! 😍 I feel big tickles in my roots, they sprinkled homemade auxins around them to promote my root growth and mycorrhizal spores to protect them against pathogenic fungi. The first watering in this pot was amazing, it was warm and sweet... my boss told me it’s made of mountain water with a bit of molasses at 22°C, with this solution he’s activating the microorganisms in the substrate, the molasses will give them a lot of energy to spread and start working, they need it because they’re diabetic and don’t store sugar. When I’m bigger, I’ll also send them sugar to work with enthusiasm!! And what really drove me crazy is the Mulch!!.. I loved, loved, loved!! 😍 it’s the best material my boss had stored, small leaves and dry stems, leftovers from trimming buds, a lot of organic matter that will keep moisture on top of the pot, it’ll be the food for the microorganisms and create an ideal ecosystem for microbiology!! And at bedtime... surprise!!... I can’t handle so many emotions!! 😅 ... new bigger tent, clean, disinfected, and with brand new lights, I share it with three other plants, beautiful and much bigger than me... I want to be like them when I grow up!! 😃... well, I’m the little one but I have the biggest pot hehehe!! 😋 Before I settled into my tent, they washed my leaves with potassium soap, they feel very soft and the soap will protect me from a spider pest that is nearby 😨... I’m scared!! 💀 Next week I’m going to put all my energy into spreading my roots and creating more leaves... I’m going to make my boss happy. deFharo Hello dear diary, this week I have grown 5cm, I notice day by day how my genetics transform... I loved!! 😍 01/22/21 It's been 2 days since I moved to my new pot, I feel very comfortable, the substrate is moist and airy, I can feel my roots venturing through the soil, curious and daring they just keep growing, I'm finding all sorts of things in the substrate, enzymes, nutrients, microorganisms that are helping me a lot with my genetic transformation, they work tirelessly and since the first watering with water and molasses, they are loaded with energy and have organic matter to eat... they are very generous, they quickly resolve all my doubts and needs... I loved!! 😍 01/25/21 Aaah!! 5 days in my new pot... I don't know how I could live without it!! My leaves are growing to capture more light, I've started to develop my fourth node, I exchange enzymes, calories, and sugars with my friends the microorganisms and now they give me a lot of magnesium and iron, well solubilized, so I can chew it, and thus create my green blood, which together with the chloroplasts allows me to create more than 500,000 cellular units per square millimeter, I feel the pressure of the sap rising and falling inside me... I feel alive!!... I love myself!! 😊 Today two new seedlings have come to share my tent, they have funny names, one is called Psicodelicia and the other has a masculine name? Jack 47 Will it be transgender?... how strange 🤔. 01/27/21 Today I have completed 6 weeks of life and I am happy!! 😊 My roots continue to occupy the substrate, exploring and getting to know every nook and cranny of the pot, finding moisture and all kinds of nutrients and minerals... I lack nothing!! 😉. My leaves are getting bigger every day and capturing a lot of light energy for me to thrive, my stem and branches are strong, like those of my ancestors, I have started to form the fifth node. I am eager to grow and become an exuberant lady, but these days, on my boss's advice, I have to focus on populating the substrate with roots, he assures me that later there will be an explosion of growth. My boss also told me that this week he will give me an apical cut that will make me even prettier, but it didn't sound good to me and I asked him to explain it, he said it's similar to when humans go to the hairdresser... wow!! how fashionable!!... I'm going to the hairdresser!! 😍 I continue to sleep very little, going from 14 hours of indoor light to 6 hours of light at the window and I can only sleep 4 hours, but I don't mind, I want to grow up as soon as possible... and there are so many things to see!! 😏 Today, to clear my mind, I took a shower with mountain water, I feel very fresh now, sometimes the heating in the house suffocates me and I scream for water for my leaves!! 😅😅 I have traps in three colors for insects in my substrate, I ordered them because the fungus gnat was bothering me fluttering around... the traps are not elegant but they work. I'm going to ask in the next photo session to have them removed because deep down I hate them!! 😠 Despite everything, today's photo session was special, my boss lent me a gold chain to make me look prettier... deFharo Hello friends, welcome once again to AKU's diary!! 😜 30/01/21 I am seven weeks old, I've been in my new pot for eleven days, I'm very comfortable, warm, and hydrated... yes, I'm happy!! 😍 Today I received my second watering, a deep watering that tickled all my roots, what a nice feeling to feel the oxygen flowing through them, plus, there were many microorganisms and essential minerals in the water for my growth, my boss says I'm growing very well... I loved it!! 😘 Before watering, my boss sprays my pot with water, he says it's to ensure moisture reaches the nooks of this special pot, so my roots can populate all the corners and it keeps my pot clean for photo sessions!!... I loved it 😍 Also, these days they placed a plate with water at my base to create a humid environment and call my roots to explore the bottom of the pot. I'm in my grow cabinet with my other little companions, 14 hours of very white light that helps me compact and strengthens my branches and stem, during the day I still peek out the window, it's a delight to receive the sun rays of this spring-like winter!! 😊 31/01/21 Today has been the saddest day of my life 😭, I woke up happy because my sixth node was developing and I was looking forward to the grooming session my boss promised me, I saw the "hairdresser" arrive, a strange guy who looked like an expired doctor, he looked at me closely, I let him do his thing, and suddenly without saying a word he pulled out some scissors and cut my central apex, it hurt a lot!! 😱, my boss was watching the scene seriously while the sadistic doctor smirked and put a stinky substance on my wound... I'm devastated!! What am I going to do now without my central apex? How am I going to fulfill my destiny of reproducing? My best seeds come from my central apex, the identity of my lineage is reflected in the beauty of the crown... I hate my boss, I'm not going to talk about it anymore, I'm thinking of reporting him for plant abuse!!... can someone help me legally?... I can't stop crying!! 😭 03/02/21 It's been three days since my assault, I still haven't been able to look my boss in the face, he tries to please me, plays music for me, and today he watered me with water sweetened with molasses, which he knows I really like, and he gave me a necklace for the photo session, but I didn't even smile at him. 😐 My roots have started to peek out from the base of the pot, I feel reasonably well, my wound is healing and the two branches below are growing a lot, as are my other lateral branches. deFharo Hello and welcome to AKU's diary. I have completed eight weeks of life, despite my boss being a brute and his topping, I have grown 6 cm and every day I am getting stronger... I loved!! 😊 06/02/21 Today marks six days since the human aggression I suffered at my main apex, I am still pissed off, although it seems that now I am going to have two main apices and my branches and stem are getting stronger. I have enjoyed some quiet days in my closet and window enjoying the company of my cousin Sweet Amnesia Haze and the other two seedlings, the temperature is very nice. My cousin was transplanted at the beginning of the week, she is very happy, she now has a pretty square pot, but I like mine more!! 😁 I still don't consume much water because I am small, but every day more, my leaves are getting very big to capture a lot of light energy, my boss says that if I keep this up, I will be a queen!!... I loved!! 😍 This week I have been watered with oxygen-rich water full of my friends the microorganisms with a bit of molasses so they have energy and work hard. The first thing he said was that it was strange for the simultaneous appearance of fungi, which appear with humidity and low temperatures, and the spiders that come when the environment is dry with high temperatures. After a while of looking at me, the doctor gave his diagnosis: There are leaves where powdery spots are starting to appear, these leaves are located at the bottom of the plant and in the center, this is due to having too much leaf mass and is aggravated by the compaction of the plant, which makes the air not circulate inside and accumulate too much humidity. The spiders only appear on half a dozen small leaves, from the middle-high area of one of the main stems, this is because at this height there is more heat and less humidity due to the proximity of the lights. This water, as I have stored it, I structure for at least 15 minutes with a magnetic stirrer, to oxygenate it and also to recover an ordered molecular structure, which favors cation exchange (nutrient assimilation), as a consequence of the structuring of the watering water, lower concentrations of nutrients can be used, up to 40%. - I note all the watering mixes I use for each plant, with control of pH, EC, and temperature, to ensure I provide very varied and/or specific nutrition for each moment. All the soluble fertilizers I use and some solids (Bioles, Lactoferments, Hydrolyzed, Dehydrated...) are of my own creation and formulation, I use purely organic components and residues to create them. - Every day I rotate the pots 90° for an equivalent light distribution on all sides, since, in addition to the excellent main lamp (Mars Hydro TS1000), I use lights with other spectrums (2200K, 2700K, 3000K, 660nm, IR 735nm, UVB) pointing to specific areas of the tent. For the same reason, in my cultivation tents with several pots, in addition to the daily rotation, every 4 days I also change the position-rotation of all of them. The average size of the pots I use, 6-7l, favors all this hustle!! - Daily, I also weigh each of my crops, to know exactly the water consumption and what remains in the pot. This information is very valuable to me, as I quickly detect any incidence in the plant's metabolism. To make the calculations of the humidity in the substrate I start from an initial watering that I gradually take to a maximum of 20% of the soil volume, for example, for a 7l pot with an adult plant I use an initial watering of 1400ml and when the plant has consumed between 65-75% I water again.
