Dessert Runtz bred by Exotic Genetics, came out unbelievable! Probably some of the stickiest stinkiest bud I have ever grown the plant gave me no issues at all the entire grow honestly, highly recommend trying their genetics! This video was taken just before the chop. It took me forever to cut the first branch __she seemed too pretty to touch with scissors. Feelings aside now. Time slipped again and it turned out to be her 9th week. Trichome checks were tricky because of the side lighting, often too close to the plant, so they were not consistently filling up__mea culpa. If I only had more space… & had not damaged the main stem… As for patching up the broken stem, I am not sure it was a great idea. She grew OK, but the stem at the patch spot looked like it had maybe 40% living tissue left. BAK__ more in a jiff.👽

Week 2 is progressing smoothly. While she’s not quite as strong as her box mates, you never know—Messi was a small kid once too! I'm giving her the full Canna nutrient suite, keeping the pH steady at 5.8, and watering every 3-4 days. No major issues so far, and everything's on track. Next week, I’ll start with some LST to encourage better growth.

These ladies were slow to start, but once they hit their stride, they put any worries we had to rest. Compact, short-framed, and robust. They pack beautifully boulder-like flowers that reek of garlic and sickly sweet cotton candy. Dark green to a mosaic of purples, yellows, and silvers. Frost production is off the charts, the internode spacing is tight, and they certainly will impress in their last few weeks of flower. This is one of our favorite crosses in the new fem lineup. Week 8 is finally here! We changed up the nutrient feeding to the week 8 on the feed chart. I am diluting everything at a 50-40% rate to keep EC within acceptable ranges of 0.8 - 1.1 EC. I started adding Terpinator to the mix and I do notice a significant smell increase vs. without it. I am going to keep using this as I think it is a great supplement. I did figure out that even though on the bottle and on the specific feed chart, it says it is a light formula that will have minimal impact on EC and will not burn your plants at the recommended rates - it will! First time mixing up my nutrients with terpinator, I had to dilute it because the EC was too high. I put the recommended amount in my mix, and checked EC and low and behold it was high. The next feeding I did a 50% dilution rate and that seemed to be ok if you are diluting your other inputs properly to compensate. ALWAYS make sure your EC and PH are in check prior to fertigating your plants. I am watching the trichomes on a daily basis and am looking to harvest sometime this week or next. I plan to dry it in the tent it is growing in as it has AC and good airflow. Once they are done drying, they will get trimmed up, lightly vacuum sealed and stored in the freezer. Still wet, but I am very happy with the result for my first grow :) The autos grew much bigger than I expected and I underestimated the growth spurt during flower, so I had increase the setup beyond what people might see as pure budget. Anyway I can't wait to try :)
