The medium has had little to no runoff so far so the ppm will be building and likely pH adjusting slightly,. Switch CalMag this week and going with GH as it has a 1% value for Nitrogen. Will be increasing the CalMag now as well. Will be getting ppm in the 500 range more this week. May start to introduce Sensyzime at the end of the week. Keep moving the lights up and down trying to dial in between 18” and 30” and see how they react. Seems to be about 28” right now they are happy. Playing with the VPD and finding that they are not as happy with the VPD up around 1.0 and rather happier around 1.4??? Happier meaning tips and looking like she is getting bigger. Played with humidity this weekend as well between 52% and 75%. Again, they seem happiest around 58%..........going to try that for a couple of days and see how they grow for the next few days. I feel they are alrighty slower at the high humidity. Didn't bother to measure this though. - Just trying to bring the medium pH in line and reduce some of the ppm. - Things just aren't progressing as I think they should. Apr 20, Day 10 - VPD 1.5 - dry out day - lower humidity in tent to 55% Apr 21, Day 11 - VPD 1.5 - dry out day, again. Humidity kept low. - Added home made CO2 to the tent today. - 3.5" tall only. - this girl is doing the best in the tent right now. She has handled the over feeding the best of them. Apr 22, Day 12 - VPD 1.4 - Dry out day yet again but now raising the humidity back to 65%. - tips back up today. She has just been slowed down....crap. Slow growth this week in my opinion. The dosage of fertilizer was increased to 2 tablespoons. Let's see how that goes during the week.

Day 80 This morning I started defoliating Tropicana. She will be in the darkness for the next days. I already harvested a part of the head flower and let it dry trimmed. Because of extreme weather conditions and very high humidity I got a little bud rott. I found it out quit early I think. So I hope nothing will not happen any more. Just harvesting relaxed and drink a Tropicana tee. Day 81 I decided to cut her down in the evening. The humidity in the basement room is high and I don‘t want to risk here anything anymore. Waiting for my first homegrown weed to be vaped. Day 82 Tropicanas flowers hanging to dry in my basement. I check them once per day with a strong light. Day 83 Same same. The smell is wonderful like a bit of gas combined with a fruity flower bouquet. Our neighbors in the house like the smell, too. 🙏 Day 84 I could try my first homegrown weed. It‘s absolutely tasty and have a very smooth vape. I was very surprised cause it‘s not cured yet. A longer vape report will follow when it‘s dried and cured. Day 88 All flowers, sugar- and tee leafs are trimmed and filled in glasses for curing. I open twice per day for 20 minutes. Boveda packs 58% inside. I will fill out the rest of the diarie when my buds are dried, cured and vaped. So far this was a very exciting journey for me. Growing cannabis and even legal on our balcony. Feels still a bit unreal, but it’s real! Thank you for reading my diary! Thanks to all the people who worked on legalizing cannabis in Germany, especially to the „Deutscher Hanfverband (DHV)“! This plant was healthy and strong from the get go! She quickly grew in height surpassing all other plants around her. Left me scratching my head a bit considering she was only in a one gallon tester pot. She formed a main cola early on and fat buds on the end of each branch. She didn’t really have the classic cheese smell I love and remember, but it was still nice, more on the flowery side. BOHOLD…. The cheese smell has really started to shine through now that she’s been drying almost a week. It’s a deep cheesy/sour mix of funky goodness. Can’t understand where it’s come from as she smelt nothing like this while growing. She was harvested in day 79 and her buds where rock solid and covered in sticky goodness. Easy to grow, would recommend to anyone who has the space and time. Il do an update once she’s dried and had a few weeks curing. 🌱💚

MAY 1st 2024 - LAST batch of clones have come in, Did 3 runs off each to get the plant count high enough to have the ability to pick and choose which clones to keep to get the best of the best. So a nice surprise was that we got to add in purple ghost candy to the run ! @seedsman seeds PURPLE GHOST CANDY , Out rooted every other strain in the room showing as soon as 5 days in some cases. The EXOTIC ANIMAL was extremely hard to get to root and take and grow vigorously. So we ended up cutting back on the exotic animal to fill out the bed with the PGC. We will be axing 3 of the mom's out of the tent right away & keeping the rest for evaluation after harvest, Stinkin Bishop is going, Even though it roots well, I did not like how much it haired up & for that reason its gone, Exotic animal is gone as well. As much as I love animal cookies and the sound of this strain, It HATES to clone and is damn near impossible to get it to take well. We ended up getting enough for a few rows, Then the Gorilla Sherbert is going as well, As it is a weird mutant sort of phenotype just shooting strange leaf patterns out.
