I’m kicking things off here with a round of Green Crack from Zamnesia. I’m growing them in soil and will be using only organic nutrients. (Biobizz) The seeds seem to be of very high quality again. All seeds germinated within 36 hours. Great stuff. I plan to train this strain more aggressively to keep the height down. I’m already excited and looking forward to the coming months. Here we go. Week 1 went smoothly. All the plants are growing at roughly the same pace. The one in the cup in the middle will be an experimental project. I don't know yet exactly what I'll do with it. I always keep my humidity around 80% and my temperature between 20 and 25 degrees. I water daily with the spray bottle and add Root Juice every other day. My PPFD level is around 300, except for the one in the middle. It gets a bit more. All in all, it was a good week. Let's see how it goes. In week two, quite a bit happened here. In general, the plants are still growing very well. I topped all the plants over the course of the week, and they have tolerated it well. After topping, I always use Boomboomspray from Biotabs to reduce stress. This has always worked well for me so far. I also started adding BioHeaven and ActiVera to every second watering. I water daily in small amounts. At the beginning of the week with a spray bottle, then as usual. In terms of light intensity, this week I had around 300 PPFD, which works quite well. I gradually increased the VPD from 0.6 to 0.8 over the week, and my temperature level during the day averages 25 degrees. The CO2 level is, as usual, very high without any intervention. I currently run my exhaust fan constantly at the lowest level to always have a slight air exchange. My intake fan also blows fresh air under the grid where the plants are standing every half hour for 3 minutes. I built a small height-adjustable stand for the remaining 9th plant, but for now, I still leave it in the less intense light areas to avoid burning it. This will be a fun project that is already starting quite cool. I wanted to trim for a manifold, but the dear lady has developed two new shoots at the neatly topped cut. I have never experienced this before. I will let her grow a bit and see what comes of it. It's a bit of a shame that the strength of the plants is uneven. Two specimens are a bit weaker on their feet compared to the rest, but the growth, in general, is fairly even. I plan to continue training with LST in the coming weeks. I don’t think I will top them a second time. So far, everything looks good. I have some concerns about the growth height of the strain, hence the topping, among other things. I'm trying to keep them under 80cm, otherwise, it would be too close to the light for me.Let's see how strong the stretch turns out to be, but I am a bit skeptical and hope it goes well. I am already looking forward to the further training of the plants in the coming weeks. I think the whole thing has potential. 🙂 With this code, you will receive a 20% discount on your next Zamnesia order: ZAMMIGROW2024

Week 3 also went very good. The plants tolerated the topping very well, and I continued the training with LST on the last day of the week. I kept my PPFD value at around 400 and the VPD was almost constant at 0.9, with an average temperature level of 26 degrees. I water daily with 2 liters and continue to add BioHeaven and ActiVera with every second watering. I have also added some yellow sticky traps, as small winged insects have appeared. Once I'm a bit further along with the training, I will add another layer of clay pellets, which should solve the problem, I think. It was another great week to watch. The transition into the vigorous growth phase is always amazing to see. I am curious to see how the plants will develop with the training. I also did some training with my 9th plant in the small pot. Let's see what comes of it. Maybe I'll trim something off it. 😉 With this code, you will receive a 20% discount on your next Zamnesia order: ZAMMIGROW2024

My Green Cracks also grew mostly problem-free in week 4. I might have started fertilizing with Bio Grow a bit earlier, as a very slight deficiency was already noticeable in the larger plants. Maybe I'll add some in week 3 next time. The small 9th plant is being fertilized with Hesi, mineral. It's quite difficult to keep this plant above water, as the pot volume is so tiny. That's why I've switched to mineral fertilization for this plant. Overall, the growth is very strong and bushy for all plants. The training is showing good results and has worked well, except for one small thing. Unfortunately, one shoot tore when bending it down, but it should recover. Regarding my values, I keep a VPD of 1.0 during the day and have set my lights to 500 PPFD. I also used Boomboomspray again after the training to reduce the stress of the training a bit more and to quickly compensate for the slight deficiency. My conclusion is positive again regarding the course of the week. There has been a lot of volume, and the plants have developed a nice, strong, and even growth structure. I suspect that the first plants will start flowering by the end of next week. Currently, I'm trying to keep them as short as possible in height, but there's slowly no more room for that. A lot happened during week 5. The plants grew at an enormous pace and consequently became extremely hungry. Therefore, I had some problems with nutrient supply, especially in the more light-intensive middle areas of my largest plant. I try to balance this with additional foliar fertilization and give the plants showing signs of deficiency about 20% more fertilizer. Regarding my values, I have been running my dehumidifier since this week, which clearly shows in the increased temperature, but due to the high CO2 concentration in the tent, I am not worried. Water consumption is also increasing accordingly. I have raised my VPD to 1.1 and increased the light output to 600 PPFD. I also water half a liter daily, with fertilization every second time. On the last day of the week, I also carried out my first defoliation because the plants had become too bushy again and, of course, to direct the strength into the main shoots. At the same time, I added another layer of clay pellets to the surface to finally get rid of the fungus gnats. Unfortunately, there was also a tragic incident during the week with a rather cunning, white, fluffy parasite***. It quickly attacked the juicy leaf tips of my plants. EMPORIO!!! Yes, then there is also number 9... I may have given it too little attention, but I have not yet managed to get it out of the deficiency. I continue to fertilize this plant mineral-wise with Hesi. However, I really like its shape. It reminds me of a steppe tree in the Serengeti. 🙂 With this code, you will receive a 20% discount on your next Zamnesia order: ZAMMIGROW2024

Week 6 was somewhat challenging. Some of the plants showed signs of deficiency again, and throughout the week, I had to balance things out with repositioning and individual fertilization. This approach has worked well so far. Currently, all the plants are back on track and growing vigorously every day. My PPFD level is now around 700 PPFD. I haven't changed the watering amount much, but I gave some plants additional nutrient water instead of just plain water. Naturally, I also did a lot of defoliation in the lower areas and removed unnecessary shoots this week. Afterwards, I applied foliar fertilizer for the last time in this cycle. This time it was a mixture of Acti Vera, Alg a Mic, and Boomboom spray from Biotabs. As always, it's pretty tight in my tent, but I'm quite satisfied with the general canopy of all the plants. A significant number of buds are already developing, which makes me optimistic about the future. I hope the next week goes a bit smoother, but overall, everything is fine.

This week, all of my plants experienced significant growth spurts. Many shoots and flowers are developing, and the plants are very thirsty for nutrients. I have now managed to get their needs under control. I now fertilize twice a week with Hesi Bloom Complex and Plagron Green Sensation. I first tested this on my small plant, which responded superbly. Therefore, I have now applied it to all plants and have quickly seen very positive developments. Additionally, due to the dehumidifier and the lamp, I am now operating in a high-temperature range, but in combination with the CO2 level, it still fits well. Consequently, water consumption also increased this week due to high transpiration. I currently water 0.5L twice a day, with hardly any drainage. The light intensity is around 800 Ppfd, although the canopy is not quite perfect. It was another very exciting and eventful week with much to see. I hope this continues. 🙂

In week 8, a lot has grown again here. Some plants have stretched by 30cm in a week, which honestly was a bit too much for me, as I'm slowly running out of space upwards, but I think the worst is now over. Otherwise, I'm still struggling to keep up with the nutrient supply for some plants. I've also moved them around in the tent a bit to better distribute the light. Currently, I'm running at an average of 800ppfd. I haven't changed the amount of water or the watering intervals. I've only increased the concentration of the fertilizers. I've also defoliated once, but only very few or withered leaves. Due to the generally very bushy growth style, I didn't remove any more shoots this time but didn't touch them after the major trimming before the stretch. Let's see how it develops. Green Crack is definitely a very fitting name here because it is really green a lot.
