Hello This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Got my 4 year cancer checkup... got the nose and throat camera.. And the Dr. couldn't find anything wrong. I get 1 more checkup in a year before they can give me a... all clear for cancer. I'm going to beat it... Thanks Rick Simpson... Picked up this magazine a few days ago and just wanted to share the adds and articles. There's a Cheech and Chong interview and story in my Captain Future diary this week if your interested. Everything is going good in here. I've seen some fungus gnats flying around But I've also seen some very small spiders starting webs, and they will grow, and take care of the gnat problem. The plants are just getting rainwater for now. There's is lots of compost in each pot... the roots just have to find it. I'll give some food in a week or two. Going to be turned to flowering by June 1st, so there is still another month of veg to go. OK. Have Fun. Chuck

Welcome friends to week 14. 8/6-12. I did defoilation last week of most of the feeder leaves. The goddesses let you know what they want and dont want. When I was defoliating, if the leaf was hesitant in coming off, don’t force it, because it will bring part of the bud with it.That being said, I have 3 small buds that came off during trim. Close up pics above. I have these drying on a fruit bowl in the kitchen and will give CBG a try in about 2 weeks. 8/6 No water today. Adjusting to yesterday’s defoliation, outside time and fertilization. This is day 106 since popping the soil on April 17. Based on the last auto flowers I grew, I anticipate these will be ready to harvest at the end of 2 weeks (Aug 19-20). I don’t know how long it takes for trichomes to start turning amber but I see almost 100% milky, just no amber yet. 8/7 I’m pushing an extra day without water and not running humidifier. This is pushing VPD higher into the excess range. I read that this stress can motivate the plant to make bigger buds. Harvest time will determine if that’s so. 8/8 Ferigate 3 gallons using TPS1 23.75ml, Signal 9.5ml, EC 1.19, PPM 820, ph 7.5. I only gave them 1 ½ liters each today. 8/9 No water. Still not seeing amber trichomes. How long will it take? 8/10 light fertilize today. 3 gallons with 15 ml TPS1, 7.5 ml Signal. Each received 1 gallon. They were in the tub so all run off went down the drain and I didn't get measurements. There was a summer storm today so I utilized the time to go thru more boxes. Interesting items that I came across: 1 grandmother's notes for colorizing black white photos. A woman’s place was in the home. My grandmother, father and mother were all high achievers in their careers, and interests. All won awards for their achievements in work activities, teaching, and arts. This type A behavior was instilled in me from the start. In everything I did I had to be my best. I worked a variety of jobs from jewelry sales to office clerical during high school and college. Attending school and working at the same time and maintaining straight A’s is typical A behavior. I started picking up industrial psychology courses and some business. When I got into accounting, my male accounting professor said I was really good and I should consider it. The economics of business was changing. Women were breaking the glass ceiling in large corporations with more women were becoming CEO's of big corporations. So, I changed my major of study in college from science to business and accounting. I entered a difficult field. Once out of college, I started in the accounting field and remained in the same career for over 35 years. I did not have the desire to travel the world so I remained in Tidewater. My career began as an accountant responsible for payroll and accounts payable at a hospital, then went into banking. From there, I entered government accounting and finance. Over the years, I was promoted from staff accountant to manager, then director of financial reporting at Tidewater Community College (TCC). Interestingly, I came across my mom’s college yearbook. She attended Teachers College of Connecticut (TCC). My mom began her teaching career in college, and I ended my career while working in higher education. What a coincidence! My need for perfection is causing stress and anxiety since I’m having difficulties. Even though I followed the TPS1 autoflower weekly recommendations, I still overfed. This caused nutrient lock out for which I flushed with no nutrients for 3 weeks. Once I resumed 1/4-1/2 strength the required solution, I started seeing new white pistils in the existing buds. Hello Diary, The first week of vegetation is over. I am very happy with how the plants are progressing. I'm sorry that not all three sprouted, for the first time I will have two plants on the "Farm". I started shoot a video every week so that everyone who is interested in this strain will be able to better follow the development and progress. The conditions at the "Farm" are good, although I would like the temperature to be a little higher, the humidity in the air is around 65% thanks to the humidifier. Until now, I always had the lights on 24 hours during the vegetation phase, and then when they start to flower, I would change it to 18/6. This time I put 20/4 from the first day of vegetation and I plan to do so until the end of flowering. I took pictures on the first and last day of the first week, just to see the difference in a week. Here's a quick recap of the week. 25/01/2023. - Day 1. Officially the first day of vegetation. When the plant sprouts, I wait for it to get at least 4 real leaves until the actual vegetation begins. After taking the photos, I watered the plants with clean water, I only lowered the pH. to 6.0 considering that tap water is around 7.5 pH. I gave each plant about 1 liter of water. Temp./Humi. - 22.1 degrees/65% Medusa F1 #1 - 4 cm Medusa F1 #2 - 3.5 cm 31/01/2023. - Day 7. End of the first week of vegetation. I also watered the plants after taking the photos. Considering the increased humidity inside the grow-box, I noticed that they don't ask for too much water. Temp./Humi. - 22.5 degrees/68% Medusa F1 #1 - 8.5 cm Medusa F1 #2 - 7 cm That's all for this week. See you next week.

Day 50 flowering. This lady continues to push out new pistils and has about 10 days at least to go. The bud rot has stayed off her thankfully but it is still very moist in the uk so need to keep vigilant. Her buds are solid snd oozing thc out to the touch. She is toppling in places due to her bud weights and i am re arranging a lot now. The Dragon force has done her justice with trich production going mad this week. lets see how she finished up. beautiful girl

We are going to be slowing down on the watering and the nutrients for CH#1 through the next couple weeks Im seeing signs of stuff I dont like so Im correcting it now before it gets outta hand . Other then that she's growing well pushing for her third node . Won't be long now till she explodes in growth !! We are dialing the nutrients back to 1/4 strength and I wont be watering as often till we back on track . Im alternating between feedings so that I dont overload the medium . Welcome to Harvest Week of Kannabia Pink Gelato

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 2 weeks into flower, and the stretch is winding down. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I will start to add a PK booster this week. I also will be switching to light from V1 to F1 sometime this week, and also integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 90% in the V1 cycle and will be transitioning to the F1 cycle later this week. Overall, the plants seem very happy and healthy. The temperature and humidity is significantly dropping so that helps keeping the tent cool and not overly humid. This is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. She looks well with her leaves fading the Double Kush Cake is still holding up in the latter stage. Her trichrome bracts are swelling up nicely and her stigmas are beginning to dull off. The lady received no nutrients for the last two weeks to prepare for her final flush. She stands at approximately 60cm from the soil!

Pretty simple first week! Seed took 3 nights for the taproot to pop and it was planted in its final pot on day 4. On day 6, it finally popped through the soil and on day 7 the little sprout is starting to grow up. There is a small piece of seed casing left attached. Going to leave it for a day or two. If it doesn't fall off, I'll do it myself. Thanks for stopping by! 🥦
