Tap root issues - too long in jiffy block Still working on dialling in VPD

Another week with a lot of studing in order to understand what's going on, to then take the proper action. It hasn't been easy, most of the time I have no clue of what the plants are doing. I tried some fimming last week to help even the canopy but it didn't seem to work. Two of them are smaller than the others, I took the smaller one out of the center of the light to give the chance to the others to get more light since it wasn't growing at all due light burn, and one of them was too far from the light, so now is very stretchy. They have been growing fast, any suggestions on how to train them? I think is time to get a new light. I'm thinking about getting a HPS 600 watts, what do you think?

Twelfth week and now this is the end. I decided to harvest these days because two weeks have passed since I have increased the amount of water and because the peaks now seem to be in a very good development point. The plant is really spectacular. The flowers are very compact and voluminous, they give off a really intense, citrusy and orange scent. The two main buds are completely equal and measure entirely 50cm. All the rest of the buds have not developed badly either. The amount of pollen is moderately high and you can notice very well a compact layer on all the flowers. As I said I watered the plant with just water all week, increasing the dose more and more to wash the roots completely and be able to harvest the plant. I cut everything and hung it all up in a cabinet where I control the humidity and temperature values and try to keep them stable through an air recirculation system. I hope to have everything almost dry and ready within 10 days to be able to participate in the competition. I really thank Zamnesia very much for the opportunity it has given me and for this wonderful genetics that has made me known. I am very excited about what I have achieved from this growth and what I have learned in all this time. All I need now is to try this wonder!

She dried out a little too much during the week. Lots of leaves turned brown too. I think she is done anyway, trichomes are all milky and the pistils are mostly brown. Based on that = harvest in 24h 💪

Auto Northern Dragon Fuel is growing good. She is starting to go into a bulking phase. I defoliated her today to thin her out some more. I have been a little heavy on nitrogen in my feed. I am gonna cut back on it greatly as she bulks. Too much causes cola development issues. Beside that everything has been going well. Recovery ,recovery, recovery. Drowned them with nuts @1400 ppm. Hot for a hot soil mix. Soil mix was missing something different that 3 of the strains were needing. I dropped the bomb on them, defoliated the hell out of them and lst . Dark Devil no lst. Let the nutrients set 2 days and flushed with RO testing run off and ph. The plants that weren't showing to much signs of nutrient burn flushed with sledge hammer back to around 1200 ppm 6.5 ph. Plants with burn flushed back to 600 ppm wattered with dechlorinated tap at 7.0 ph. Finally the seeds man white widow and the gg#4 started into flower. The kera white widow and the critcle purp are loving the environment and nutes. May have to flush the Dark Devil a little more or full flush it. Still showing signs of nute burn. Over all happy with the grow. I definitely know what each strain likes and what they dont. I'm keeping a physical journal on each for future grows. Lessons learned: For a first indoor grow and a first auto grow, it would have been easier to select hybrids that were close in their sativa/indica ratio. Sativas are sensitive temperamental little girls. Get a dehumidifier so the room or tent can be contained with less co2 loss for summer. Ventless blue flame wall heaters work great in the winter for heating the room and creating plenty of co2. Running a test grow with 6 plants when your home only 40 hours then gone for 3 days is fun insanity.

This week I took a few clones while I still could, didn’t want them too far into flowering. Normal week of (vigorous) growing in our Scrog canopy. Very surprised how quick she grew her leaves back after the defoliate. The clone rooted quite quickly and has shown amazing vigor. It was reintroduced and will begin flowering immediately. It will still get 10 days of Veg while the plant figures out that it’s Fall time in here. (before it truly starts flowering)

Well, these ladies are growing like weeds! 😃 I am getting ready to do their second topping. They seem to be taking nutrients well. I am planning on vegging them out for at least 3 more weeks. Going to have some monsters! 😎 Sincerely, thanks for all the support. 🙂

This week, the plants have shown strong growth, with nearly 10cm of height gained. Dominant branches are starting to emerge, though all the shoots are making their way towards the light. The plants are very thirsty, requiring more water, and I've removed a few side branches and shading leaves to improve airflow and light penetration.

Blackberry Kush stretches. I could form a nice bushy structure and the plant reacts well with a lot of flowers which get direct sunshine. It‘s my first grow. This one is the second cannabis plant, popped out of my homemade charcoal compost potting mix. I feed my plants with light homemade fertilizers and water with rainwater 1-2 times per week. The plants love it, like my tomatoes and peppers do and did in the past.

Week 8 Day 51 Ladys starting to fat up the buds, a bit slowly this time but it's OK. Lemon Kix is a super smelly one, she stinks like lemon haze with bubblegum. Followed by Trainwreck and Orange Sherbet, really smelly Orange Sherbet disappointed till now, the buds looking really fluffy. I know she's got another 4 good weeks maybe more, but at the same time my last Orange Sherbet looked like a completely another strain. All lady's starting to get hungry, bottom leaves getting yellow and some just fall off. But the top should last to 2-3 weeks more. Cinderella Jack stopped to stretch ( she's huge) and now focused on the bud production. I think she gonna produce some fat big buds. 😁 Day 54 Orangesherbet that's what you get when you don't pay attention to your lady 😕 she got a really bad lockout The pH must be off, gonna see how she responds in the next weeks. That's why the buds are so airy. Gonna water her with 6.5 pH and add some Batguano after that. Purple Punch showing also signs of some Def. But it looks like a normal Nitrogen Def, thats not a big problem, gonna give her some Batguano too. Day 56 Hmm the buds from Lemon Kix didn't fat up till now, I hope they don't produce fluffy buds cause right now it looks like that. Compared to Blue Dream all lady's far behind with the Bud production Orange Sherbet smells amazing good but also she don't fat up. I know this will took another 3-4 more weeks. Purple Punch is very healthy she shows no signs of stress, but she's extremely hungry for potassium, like my last one. Trainwreck looking good but also still behind with the bud structure, when I compare them to my last run, they are really far away from 70 days (germinate to harvest) this gonna go minimum till week 12 😩.

The Orange Hill Special is finishing! She has compact and dense buds that have grown in. The waiting is on the amber trichomes now, which I'm giving her time for! There are some more faded leaves and she is clearly rounding it up. The smells in the room (and the house are getting very pungent and were happy we don't have many visitors in the coming days! We are beyond camouflage. She has some more space as I've taken out the Gorrila for darkness. That one was way more done, but this one needs one more week, I gather.
