The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = .46kw * 0.15kw = .17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = .99kw *0.15kw = .85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = 4.30kw *0.15kw = .65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. .17 + .85 + .65 = .67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. .67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. .67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 3g of straight well water via garden hose as usual. 6/26- Our summer is here and we're under an early heat wave this week with daytime temp's hitting the mid to upper 90's ℉ with heat indexes in the low 100's ℉... in short, IT'S FNG HOT!🔥🔥🔥 I'm watering the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo daily now with 5g of straight well water from the garden hose. I'm watering at sundown so that the water will have some time to soak down into the soil before the heat evaporates it. The coating of straw that I previously spread over the soil around her base has helped a lot as well. 6/28- Our weather is HOT now with heat indexes over 100℉ so I'm watering the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod every day with 5g of straight well water from the garden hose in the late afternoon once the plant is in the shade. Other than the ever present leaf hoppers, which love the leaves but leave the flowers alone, and an occasional Japanese Beetle, there aren't any serious pest issues currently. The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod continues to have excellent color and vigor, continuing to add new growth and increase her height, it seems daily! 6/30- The weather continues to relentlessly bake everything outside... Her green still not were i want so i am keeping the nutrispray for a few days more at least until i like the colors better, apart from that she is growing great actually, wen looking at last week defoliation and now , i mean lol Sorry so short update i will keep updating among this week <3 <3 <3 Decided to connect my spider-farmer to increase my PPFD, i love this MARSHYDRO TSW2000 but in my humble opinion a 4x4 needs a bit more PPFD Power wen in flower mode bringing up my average PPFD to 1000 umol/m2/s lets see if she likes the idea or not. And like i suspected she did like more light and the color is changing bringing her green colors back to normal, did a leaf inspection just in case and posted some photos of my under leaf microscopic view, all good by the way lol , with this meaning that next week i will provably stop Nutrispray since i don't like so very much to apply any type of foliar during flower. And As i suspected i have an bug infection lol freaking trips found them way in to my closets, them a i dont know if mites, but i have something in this closet that webs and i cant find it RRR, i guess its part of the game, just been long long long time since i encounter any situations like this, and that is why its happening, i got way to comfortable and lazy on my IPM. This is one of the reasons why is so important to checking in a microscopic way under leafs etc Im ordering a bunch of beneficial insects , traps etc and going in from all sides lol non so ever she is looking great, not the best color leafs i know , but she is moving fast and furious . I'm afraid the Raspberry Pi's time got reset somehow resulting in the timelapse being taken mostly at night rather than during the day, which means there aren't a lot of usable photo's :(.

Week 8 and growth continues to be muted. Due to the poor soil, I'm only slightly scratching the strain's potential. I've attached a video of the insects that were in the soil, along with the fungus gnats. An in to soil she and her sister testers go, i know that for know everything looks the same , apart from the photos, but this will start changing with them growing. For now all of them are growing pretty much the same and now that they move in to soil and start feedings they will start showing the phenotype and genetic differences, but for now all looking great , healthy and strong af!!! Nous voilà déjà au 26e jour, et mes plantes semblent vraiment bien s'en sortir. J'ai expérimenté un LST un peu audacieux, juste pour voir. Je n'ai pas effectué de defoliation Je suis passé à de l'engrais en mode pré-floraison jusqu'à arrêt de l'étirement auquel cas je passerai en l'engraissement en floraison pure. À présent, je vais les laisser tranquilles et croiser les doigts pour que la préfloraison au 19e jour ne soit pas suivie de petits ennuis avec des plants de petites tailles 🙏🤞 🌱

Still a few weeks for this girl. There are the first signs of orange hairs on her buds. I've cleared excess leaves below the canopy and any buds that are to small to be worth her or my effort, I'd rather she plumped and fattened up what buds she already has. I've also chopped away and widen her spread total any blocking of "worth the effort" buds. Supercropping has paid off, giving more room and of course, no effect to the girl whatsoever.

Hey Cannafam, Its been a mixed week here in the UK, the first half was consistant 20c and nice sunny weather but the past few days have been a bit chilly for her down to 16c cloudy, some rain and windy. At the beginning of the week i transplanted into a gallon fabric pot with 2/3 plagron royal mix and 1/3 canna coco, throughout the mix ive used dynomyco and some also in the transplanting hole. Around the pot is copper tape and on the surface wool pelletts, both of these are meant to deter slugs/snails who are the main UK plant enemy and hopefully this will be enough! Although i was really careful when transplanting the soil very quickly crumbled away and i was a bit rough with her by accident. I was worried abput transplant shock but she seems to be ok 🤞 Ive also moved her to her final home which is the disused drained pond that i use every year, the recess keeps them out of sight and it gets the sun for most of the day. Overall she looks happy and the next couple of leaf stages are gettin ready to shoot out 😊 Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️

Room full of clones that I’ve ran before no surprises…1000w x6 room, 6 plants per light…stripped the big fan leaves of hung whole plants up. After the 7 day dry gonna bring in the crew of trimmers and get this done in one day…I hate trimming and I need room empty again so I can plant clones I have rdy to go in so it’s faster just to pay trimmers…I’ll report back with yield…I can already say it’s gonna be 12-15 packs I’m always hitting 2+ a light with these strains….I don’t weigh it wet it wold take too long and wet weight don’t matter none unless you running some fresh frozen and need to do math on yields

Day 1: I got two of these Sweet Gelato seeds free from @Zamnesia. I’m only planting one at the moment . I’m really excited about growing it. I’ve really loved any Gelato I have tasted. I have my substrate prepared and my veg space is ready to go. I have put the seed in Ph’d water for 24hrs first and I will add to the soil tomorrow night. I’ll wet the soil down tomorrow morning with Ph’d water and I’ll put it the veg space with the lights on to warm up the soil before adding the seed. Day 2: Seed has been moved into the substrate and pot is now in Veg Space under 40watt CFL bulbs but once the seed germinates I will switch on the 200watt CFL. This is my least favourite part of growing, the wait for the seedlings 🌱 to break through the soil. I’ve planted the seed to one side of the pot as I find this makes LST easier. The plant will be spending it’s first 2 to 3 weeks in this veg space while I wait for my Purple Punch to finish in my main grow space. 72hrs Later: Houston we have lift off 🚀 The seed first started to peed through the soil after only 48hrs. That’s the fasted I’ve ever seen, hopefully it’s a sign of things to come. Leaves still haven’t opened but it’s fully above ground now.
