Fun fact : my TDS meter broke down. I was running an EC of 4.3, needless to say the plant went into super lockout. I lost a lot of leaves and am trying to get it on the right path again. I had enough foliage to survive it fortunately trichomes are still quite empty, most likely it will need another 2 weeks to mature UPDATE: Day 67 the plant seems to have finally stabilized again, EC and PH stopped swinging around like crazy

What to say in the end, even though things were not ideal, the outcome is better than expected. 🙏 My only regret is that it has not reached its full potential, although the buds are beautiful, dark purple, full of terpenes that stick to your fingers like honey when you touch them. 😋 The outcome is in the end 56 g. which is more than it looked before the harvest. 💪 She dried along with her two roommates Purple Punch for a total of 14 days. My wife, although not a consumer, enjoys trimming which suits me great because I can take photos during that time. After trimming, we put the dry tops in jars where they matured for another 20 days. Sometime in the future I would definitely repeat Watermelon, I know it can do even better. It’s great that it’s summer, it fits perfectly with the Watermelon joint on an afternoon summer evening with a book and the sea. Hey Growmies, I apologize for the lame diary this week. I've been sick on and off the last two months and it's really taking a toll on my body and heart condition. Please forgive me as I'm trying to heal up. I'll do the best I can at updating this as I go along. I'm not giving up! The girls look great, despite not giving them as much attention as id like and they deserve. Great week of growth. I let her do her thing. I did minor LST and some hst on the other girls that I haven't made a diary for yet but will. Day 19 of flower.. week 3 of flower is about to wrap up which is nearing the end of the stretch phase. I was pleasantly surprised with the growth on the Watermelon Zkittelz, I've been putting the most work into her as the technique I'm using requires a lot of attention. Next run I will use tie downs and I'll most likely add a trellis here soon too help hold the heavy colas.. but we will see how it plays out. Looking forward to seeing her buds start to stack before my eyes! Thank you to everyone who has helped me through this journey! I've been really sick lately and my girls help keep me going! Day 20 of flower Today went well, I reorganized the tent and cleaned it a bit, I try to clean it once a week or so. I've been hand "drip feeding" one of the girls the last few days. Just an expierment and the plant seems to love it so I'm going to start hand "drip feeding" all of them. I think the Watermelon Zkittelz is going to love some extra food every day! I know us humans do but it's important to make sure the girls aren't stressed and isnt in a nutrient lock out or something. I think it's best when she's running prime! At the end of day 20 of flower I took a video of all the new growth and it was after I reorganized the tent and I feel so much better after doing this. I also turned off all the lights and turned on each light individually so I could see how each light was casting on each plant. This way I know the plants are getting enough light coverage as that is a huge disadvantage of using these budget lights. Excited for the 3rd week to come to an end!! Adding new nutrients next week!! Meine Woche ist an sich gut verlaufen, wie man auf den Bildern sehen kann habe ich sie nun oben heruntergebogen sowie auch an den Seiten Arm da sie sonst zu nah an die Lampe wächst. Ich habe auch eine neue Lampe und zwar von Mars Hydro die T600 Ich denke sie müssen sich erst ein wenig an die neue Lampe gewöhnen denn die hat um einiges mehr power als die letzte die ich selber gebaut habe ich glaube deswegen hängen die Blätter ein wenig. Ich habe zwei Blätter da ist eine komische Farbe drauf die man auf den Bildern ersehen kann einmal ein wenig bräunlich und einmal ein wenig braun hat jemand eine Idee was das sein kann. Nächste Woche werde ich die Uhr umstellen und sie in die Blüte schicken.

Week 3 - Sometimes You Have To Lose To again. I Made a The Sacrifice Of The Leaves So The Plant Can Redirect It’s Energy Into The Branches Attach To It.

The plants are coming along nicely for the most part. I have been finding bud rot in big mama... not much but I'm a little bit worried. I've been cutting it out when I find it. The trichomes are cloudy with sparse amber. The wind has been a concern the past week or so. I shared a video which kind of gives an idea of what we are dealing with. We are looking at harvest two weeks out - max. Maybe sooner. FFT2 is significantly behind the other varieties... fattening up more slowly.

DAY 21 FLOWERING: Well it had to happen eventually!!! . I knew it would come to this point.....I had to be brutal and practical as I evicted the Gorilla cookies and the mutant Northern light to a different space... I now have the #1 Northern lights and the Grandaddys Mimosa directly under the XS1500 to really develop them both to the best I can. The light has done a great job developing all 5 to this point and I do think it could have finished them all at a push but , I think seeing how it can grow 2 auto plants in a 2x2 space will be worth the change of plan. I am impressed with this little light and never expected such a growth rate . I really would love to test their new p4000 to see what that beast can do. The northern lights has really worked hard this week on her bud structuring , she looks like she will be stacking her colas on each limb , just the way we like em in the space I have. I did take a little more weak lower growth out of her to focus on the stronger mains as we have hit the point of no more defol . She wont regrow leaf after this point now so the ones remaining will be all she has to power the photosynthesis during flowering. Sugar leaves do not do the same work as the fan leaves and with them being autos , I feel we need the extra boost more than in a photoperiod run. She looks like stretch has finished now too so her size is nice and stocky so she wont need to transfer nutes too far from the roots either. Grandaddys mimosa is also really developing some nice looking golf ball buds all over. She looks like she will be a long cola girl too which is perfect to keep the canopy and light distribution as even as possible with the Northern lights too. She smells a little fruity already and the hint of her Mimosa lemon father is also really evident. So far so good . The 2 Gorilla cookies and the other northern lights are all looking great after being grown under this light and I will include their harvest data in the diary at the end to avoid the diary going haywire. All in all this is going great now and continues to impress me with the capability of this unit. Come on #viparspectra , send me a p4000. Lol Be safe and well growmies.

Slowly heading into flowering had to put 2 bends on too colad just to keep the canopy firm and open up the side branches ,pulled out few of the bottom leaves 🍁 so to get better air flow ,so far so good ,lets see how she’ll perform into flowering now 💚

I added top dressing of soil mix to all plants. And put the plants into flower. Let the fun begin.

Es wurde Zeit, das Wetter wurde ungemütlich, kalt und regnerisch. Die anderen Pflanzen hatten bereits Schimmel entwickelt und es war auch kein weiteres Blütenwachstum festzustellen. die Trichome sahen auch leicht angebräunt aus, Deshalb wurde geerntet und verarbeitet. Die Ernte der zweiten späten Pflanze war wesentlich geringer aber noch passabel.

This week the amnesia trance has come along fine, she is as low as i can get her and has probably finished stretching. All 4 strains in the tent are quite close in development still. Notes Day 50 manually feed this weeks nutes Day 51 nothing Day 52 nothing Day 53 autofeed water. Day 54 nothing Day 55 autofeed this weeks nutes Day 56 big defoliation. 530 ppfd, 34.4 DLi. Back in a week Take it easy.

This week is going along great... I left Friday the 14th for my brother's cottage... So I matter sure to give her a whole cup of water... Came home to lots of growth!

This week we did some more garden maintenance, cleaning up the green house removing any weeds growing under the pallets. We also did some preventative maintenance , spraying Flying Skull's Nuke Em on the ladies.
