So far so good. Heatwave is back and they are loving the humidity. I've needed to water a bit more often, ever other day due to the heatwave. But now we are forecasted to have rain for the next few days. Should be a nice relief. The one I had topped almost 2 weeks ago is still doing well. She is must shorter than the untouched one as expected. I have also tied down the bottom branches; experimenting with LST and so far she's responding well and adjusting.

We are at day 21 on this gorilla cookies. I think she would be quite a bit bigger if I didn't break one of the mains on week 2 but she is still chugging along and growing well. I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp per gallon and started them on a little armor si so they can build some strong branches. Still running them on 24 hour light and 24 hour irrigation. They are going to stay under the blurple lights for a few more weeks until I can get them in the big room under the quantum boards. I'm hoping they will flower around 4 weeks but my autos seem to enjoy staying in veg so we will see what happens.

D-70 : Chaco Haze. They just look amazing, even 1/4 is very small (about 40cm). At this stage she should be 60 or 70 cm high... Anyway, the flowers are doing great. I really hope the will continue to grow. I dream of a grow room full of flowers between 1 and 1.4 m high ! Still 8-9 weeks to go, so they have time :)

Big fat colas almost there. You can see the structure, but they’ve just started to fatten up. Those colas are getting heavy. I think I’ll have to help them with a bamboo stick or something else. The smell is very strong, especially if you touch the stems or the sugar leaves. Next week I’ll stop with Big Bud and start with Overdrive 👊

Second week, little to tell, the girls are big and looking to root, I have passed them to pots of 3 liters, at the moment only water and Rhizotonic to stimulate, and are already under the 600wLED

Put the largest nothern lights in its own mini green house, both have x2 large bug nets around them instead of a plastic cover as the temps and humidity were off but are perfect now. Plus it will reduce the chances of bugs flying in while also allowing the wind to pass through, I’ve used some Biobizz leaf spray no further leafs have been eaten since using it which I’m happy about.

Day 37 Week 5 update: Not looking awesome. Appears I have a root aphids or hopefully just soil mites “arthropods” and maybe thrips.. going to be fighting soil and plant pest.. :/ Update: went to store and grabbed Neem Max by Bonide, Alaskan Fish fertilizer Got some yellowing so I added 1tbsp alfalfa meal top dressed for nitrogen boost. Currently brewing a veg tea/ foliar spray. About 2.5 gallons dechlorinated water 1 tbsp alfalfa meal 1 tbsp kelp meal 1 tbsp super fly insect frass 1 tbsp crab meal. Half tsp molasses Half tsp fish emulsion Will feed/spay tea on day 39 (48 hr brew) For veg tea. Will spray plants foliage with NeemMax today (D37) to start fighting thrips or any pest. Day 38 decided to feed with a bonide mixture. About 3-4 tbsp per 2 gallon split between the veg plants sprayed into soil and roots. Aswell as a light spray for each plant in the flower tent although those plants seeem to be doing better I have yet to inspect. Wanting to keep areas as separate as possible while dealing with veg tent first. Day 39 plants drank up the bonide mixture surprisingly overnight and feed the Veg tea about 40 hour brew. Looks prime time to use as well lots of bubbles indicating microbe activity. Also sprayed folliage with the tea and lights off for 15-20 to let leafs dry off first. Also .. slight issue I’ve been measuring my umol incorrectly.. my measurement reads in lux and Foot Candles.. Basically I was giving my plants about 50-80 Umol instead of 400-600 like I thought. Same for flower. That being said very impressed with what I have achieved with very minimal light. Hopefully my plants won’t get stunted from the correct light.

Day 49 - lookin good..... been bending her, trimmin abit, messin with the water solution..... ph and ppm have been all over the place..... lol she's been transitioning from grow to flower, and once she settles into night mode, the solution and growing should stabilize...... the new fan is cool... tents working properly now, neg pressure, drawing in air behind the floor fan, blown around the bottom, and cpu extractor fan pushing the air out the top of the tent, straight into the filter..... really nice way to run a little tent, low airflow........ keeps the impurities out of the buds..... the stalks have all tuffened up since trimmin, and pretty strong now.... should hold the full weight that's about to occur all over the place...... i've simplified the nutrients, they were gettin alittle confusing, so started doin nuets differently, .... so, just making my own nuet solutions, nothing fancy just base amount of normal elements .... should be a pretty good christmas ...... Day 80 This morning I started defoliating Tropicana. She will be in the darkness for the next days. I already harvested a part of the head flower and let it dry trimmed. Because of extreme weather conditions and very high humidity I got a little bud rott. I found it out quit early I think. So I hope nothing will not happen any more. Just harvesting relaxed and drink a Tropicana tee. Day 81 I decided to cut her down in the evening. The humidity in the basement room is high and I don‘t want to risk here anything anymore. Waiting for my first homegrown weed to be vaped. Day 82 Tropicanas flowers hanging to dry in my basement. I check them once per day with a strong light. Day 83 Same same. The smell is wonderful like a bit of gas combined with a fruity flower bouquet. Our neighbors in the house like the smell, too. 🙏 Day 84 I could try my first homegrown weed. It‘s absolutely tasty and have a very smooth vape. I was very surprised cause it‘s not cured yet. A longer vape report will follow when it‘s dried and cured. Day 88 All flowers, sugar- and tee leafs are trimmed and filled in glasses for curing. I open twice per day for 20 minutes. Boveda packs 58% inside. I will fill out the rest of the diarie when my buds are dried, cured and vaped. So far this was a very exciting journey for me. Growing cannabis and even legal on our balcony. Feels still a bit unreal, but it’s real! Thank you for reading my diary! Thanks to all the people who worked on legalizing cannabis in Germany, especially to the „Deutscher Hanfverband (DHV)“! I will give more updates and write a vape report after curing several weeks. Maybe with some Tropicana Cookies baked in Comfreys garden kitchen.

Start Flower Week 7

This strain impressed me from the get go. Although I suffered her with some light stress and some issues with high run off and and build up she still managed to finish off perfectly. Lovely dense buds and she’s covered trichomes. She was harvested on 31 jan and is now curing off in glass mason jars and I’m burping x4/5 a day. I’ve tasted her today and although she’s not fully mature she tastes a bit berry with a hint of diesel. I would say for defo a day time smoke. Perfect wake and bake strain. I would like to try this again outdoors next time in a greenhouse.

This afternoon is day 30 for this cherry bomb. The pictures are from day 27 and 28. I’ll add a few later on today when the lights go on. She is really starting to fatten up. looks like they Will be dense long stacked buds. About 40 more days to her 10 weeks. Bomb seeds says 8-10 weeks for harvest. I would like to see her go to 10 weeks. I prefer a heavy couch lock stone for the evening. I have added a video showing that she is one plant and a lot of die off on the bottom where no light is penetrating. Not everything you see dead is from lack of light, a lot of it is from Trimming, and not cleaning up after myself. I’m back on nutes after a flush. As expected she exploded in growth since back on the nutes.
