This weeks been hot and dry. I've been doing everything I can to keep humidity up. I havent been feeding as much but lots of watering. Some defoliation but not very much. The bud sites are plentiful & numerous. The top sites have long pistols so I expect her to have large swelling buds. The strawberry gorilla seems to crave lots of sunlight so to say so keep the LED near max for best results! Check back next week to see just how fast she grows & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!

Hi Growmies, I changed the cutting in the tank to one I still had in my other tent, as these were showing a lot more signs of a revegging plant compared to the one I had in the tank previously. I will top her very soon to stimulate a more lateral growth, before I will move her into the small box in roughly two weeks, once the Afghan is harvested and dried. I have also added a dripper as I suspected the lack of topwatering caused the old one to fail.

The girls started flowering and shooting 🌠 to the sky. The internodes are quite far from each other. The one with the earlier side branches just ended up having two small leaches.

Blue Dream Auto 1 15th Feb Mon - Placed blue dream auto seed into jar of ph balanced water,and then kept in dark airing cupboard for 24hours. 16 Feb Tue - Set up grow tent today. Placed seed into soil and cut a quarter of a plastic bottle top and placed over planted seed to create moisture dome. If seedling hasn’t popped after 3 days turn light on to give more energy. Will leave now and check up on it in the next 24 hours 17th Feb. 17th Feb Wed - Checked on seedling today. No sprout as of yet,19:35, everything seems fine soil is moist and in the dome is moist. If there is any issues it would be the temp is lower than I’d like. 18th/19th Feb Thur - Fri - Still no sprout on Thursday 18th. Checked soil and it still a bit wet all around, I think I’ve planted the seed a little too deep. Noticed a few gnats. On day 19th Friday, there is still no sprout so to give it a bit of help I have turned the light on today. Noticed quite a few more gnats so I will try to put some white vinegar and fairy liquid in a bowl to place in tent. Will update over the weekend. 20th Feb Sat - Finally!!! The seed has finally sprouted, I won’t water this morning but I will check later tonight. Need to keep soil around plant moist but the outer bits of soil I’ll leave dry due to Gnats. Will leave moisture dome on for a day longer until I see leaves form. Very happy! Also repositioned light so it is directly above plant 21st Feb Sun - She is looking good! A lot of growth from yesterday to day gave some more water this morning as she was looking a bit dry. I’m looking to take the dome off tonight as she has started to come out. I’ve turned lamp off for 4 hours to give some rest. One leaf is curling over a little but I’m not too sure why? Will monitor and keep updated. Any advice appreciated!!

What a beautiful week this was, jeez. The Daily High Club products really just make the environment so much better. You see that this is a really high quality light and the girls show that too. It’s so fun to see 3 same strain seeds performing soooo different from each other even when all the other factors are the same. We have the small one, which really looks funny and definitely not the way she should look. But hey I don’t want to break up the family. The middle sister is performing right on target, just as the books are saying she is performing like that. And then we have Olga, she doesn’t listen to the books she just has great genes 🍀 She is blessed with a strong stem and strong arms with more than 5 fingers humans has, she has 7! LOL So anyway learning a lot with what to do and what not to, I’m trying to keep the temperature around 28C when the humidity is around 65-70%. In week 4 im going to decrease the humidity by 5%. I’m also giving 1 half table spoon of kind of molasses solution and they responded immediately after that with big growth. (Days 21-28) (Day 23) I like the amount of stretch I’m seeing on practically all the plants. I'm going to lower the light at the end of the week to stop the stretch. The more stretch they get in veg the less I have to lollipop or prune down the road. Makes lst easier too. I’m going to try topping this week. Last time I topped at the 7-10th nodes and didn’t get the best horizontal growth. This round I’m ready to give everything 3 or more toppings, stay on top of training and defoliate much less. This soil looks insane. I should have added a thicker layer of oats because it’s starting to look proper. (Day 24) Got my stuff from the hydro store today and amended my soil again. Next visit I will be grabbing a P booster like bat guano before I enter flower. Today, I got the 2gal pots, some primo worm castings, 5-2-4 insect frass, 0-0-22 langbenite, 1-0-3 alfalfa meal and an exhale co2 bag. Guy at the store said it gets his 4x4 tent 1000ppm+. It takes a few weeks at least for it to start putting out any amount of co2. I got the room sealed and two fans bowing. I fed a compost tea with a little bit of each dry amendment, BSO dry compost, boogie brew base and worm castings aerated for 24h. I diluted it to about 850ppm which still might be a little high. (Day 25) Opened a bottle of EM1 that was improperly stored and it exploded all over me and part of the tent. I wiped off the plants but there is still specks here and there. Cleaned it off and sprayed with method1 pps. (Day 26) Topped 9/15 plants. Will do the rest next week once I see a little more growth. 5 of the bbb’s I started 6 days after everything else so they are still quite behind. I’m going to push the transplant another few days until they recover. Going to start lst after transplant. (Day 28) Transplanting into 1.6gal pots that I thought were 2gals tonight... Depending on how many females I get, they will be going into either 3, 7 or 10 gallon fabric pots. Growth is looking solid so far, zkittlez and the 3 WW’s are leading the pack in terms of growth speed and cotes are yellowing out. I’m pretty sure what I have is a zkittlez bagseed but there is also a strong chance it could have been from some shitty Canadian biker weed. I accidentally misplaced the seed so it’s possible it got mixed up and I germinated the wrong one. Judging by the rapid growth I’d say that’s a fair bet. Biker weed is notoriously fast growing. Either way it won’t be hard to tell once they’re in flower. The white widow is probably going to be a breeze. I’ve heard that’s why it’s so popular too. It’s just a hardy rookie strain with good resistance, decent quality and above average yield. A sure investment. The blackberries are lagging behind but I’m sure they will blow the others away in terms of quality. One of the tunas looks great and the other is a stubby runt. The stubby runt I currently have in flower is killing it right now so I’m not writing it off yet. Can’t wait to see if the tuna god produces some nostalgic smells. Tuna strains are still super popular on the Canadian black market. I plucked the first set of leaves that were starting to appear on each plant. These branches almost always turn to larf and they're so small I can't that stressing the plants out at all this early. If anything, the zkittlez and white widows need to slow down a bit anyway. I’ve been doing a shit ton of research over the past year into what causes weed and cigarettes to have black ashes/poor fire holding capacity. Smoking black weed drives me crazy because it’s all the legal and black market have nowadays. The cigar industry has numerous studies on the cause of ash color and burn rate and apparently it has to do with the ratio of mineral content in the soil/water. Soil/water that is high in phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and other heavy metals will burn poorly and reduce to flaky black ashes. Whereas soil that has higher levels of potassium and calcium carbonate have thick uniform white ashes with no streaks. Calcium carbonate (wood ash, biochar) can also prevent heavy metals in the soil making them unavailable to the plant. I’m discontinuing my “Organic cal mag” as it is full of chlorine which I did not realize when buying it. I’m going to be pretty cheesed if that stuff ruined the burn of my current flowering crop. My dog also found and destroyed my Alaskan fish fertilizer so that’s being discontinued for now too.

Day 11: We have: 3x White Widow 1x Critical 2x Special Queen #1 1x Special Kush #1 Important: The method used "jiffy" is efficient and fast but in another possible germination I will definitely do the "paper towel" method first. It is important to note that for good germination, the seeds must have as little soil as possible on top, where I delayed by 1 week due to the fact that the seed was very deep in a jiffy. I reduced the distance of the LED from 60cm to 30cm because we still have plants that are stretching too much so this was the measure adopted awaiting results. For 8 pots of 0.5L, 500ml of pure water containing: 1ml Voodoo Juice 1ml Sensi Grow A+B (2ml total) 1ml B52 2ml CalMag The net proportion was satisfactory.

It started outgrowing the pot and running through nutrients extremely fast. I raised light and increased feed

I managed to turn the negative heat temperature in to something positive by introducing co2 to the environment. As a result of the diy co2 method some of branches grew up by 1.5 inches in 2days! Will continue to utilise co2 in the box for now. I also had to adopt the defoliation method Way to many leaves could cause problems by raising the moisture level in the box. As a result of the defoliation a lot of light is reaching the bottom of the box. Which means I can grow other small plants in the box. I switched to bloom NPK ratios. Slowly introducing the raw mix. It’s doing fine and as allways no tip burns
