The veg cycle was shorter than i usually like to have a plant go through, due to time restrictions for the Bubba Cheesecake Diary grow-off, but it still did fantastic in my mind! Three months in veg under high-octane light and 11 1/2 weeks in flower have let this plant turn into a dreadlocked group of nugs. Three main colas, but lots of burnable flower to enjoy once the dry is finished. I did a light LST with a decent amount of defoliation throughout the plant's life. I like to open up the middle area of the plant and let as much light as possible hit as many branch and potential flower nodes as possible. This way, i don't need to lollipop as many branches and as much foliage as i would if i didn't do this. Plus, the candelabra look is b-e-a-Utiful, in my opinion. Light intensity through veg ranged from 40% as a fresh seedling to around 55% the week before i put it into the bloom room. Once it was in the bloom room, the intensity was set at 50% for the first couple weeks to allow for a decent stretch. After that, i think i recorded the light intensity in my diary notes for each week. But, just in case i didn't, I bumped up the intensity by a few percent every 3 days until i hit 100%. Once i got to MAXIMUM POWER, i left it there until harvest. Water was natural well water that tests out at 7 pH. I always added BuildABloom to the water, never the soil, when i used it. Same with Dr. Earth's 1-2-1 tea concentrate. Other than those instances, it was just straight water that i was giving to the plant. Grow rooms are both about 4'x8'. Day 1. Hope all goes well. This time I have my substrate ready, unlike strawberry pie. It took off so fast didn't expect it to break ground in 2 days. Which I just transplanted.

It seems like she needed to be closer to the light so I moved her a closer. She is growing very tall and fast. I water her once every two days or when I see the soil is dry. :)

My Purple Kush seedling is the smallest in the tent, and it's been a slow starter. It's finally showing some signs of life, but honestly, I'm not sure if it's going to catch up with the others. I might just cut my losses and focus on the stronger plants. It's a tough call, but sometimes you have to make those decisions. I’m going to keep the plant for sure just because I want to see what purple kush looks like The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this past week! We've been hitting that sweet spot of 70 degrees during the day, perfect for getting outside and soaking up some sun. Then, it cools down to a comfy 50 degrees at night, which is ideal for sleeping with the windows open. I've been loving all the fresh air! I finally got around to building that little wooden planter for my windowsill. It was a fun project, and now my regular plants have a nice new home. It really brightens up the room, and I'm thinking of adding some herbs to it soon. Maybe I'll even try growing some basil!

Day 77 - June 18 June 18 - 06.00AM One Amber trichome found. Will water with 5L of water at 6.3PH this morning. Wilted leaves are still springy. I'd like to defoliate but will wait until they're completely wilted. June 18 - 06.45AM Soil is still cold, a little moist. I'll water at approximately 9AM June 18 - 10.45AM Removed dead leaves to avoid pests (as sharing tent with outdoor plants at night). June 18 - 10.45AM Watered 4.5L to runoff at 6.3PH. Time taken approximately 1 hour to saturate soil. June 19 - 09.00AM Trichomes are starting to morph from clear to cloudy. Each clear head is now about 50% cloudy. There are slightly more light amber trichomes appearing. I suspect just under a week remaining. June 20 - 07.00PM Found another amber trichome on a more developed cola. With more half-clear trichomes becoming cloudy. I suspect I'll chop in 5 days or so. Leaf necrosis is developing further with some fan leaves (with trichomes) are decaying. I'd really like to see more purple by this stage, but I'll settle for a pineapple fade. June 22 - 08.20AM Temperature ate 78F at ground level. TOO HIGH! Had to turn the AC off due to partner being cold overnight. Possibly lost terpines+potency - frustrated. Trichomes still seem too clear for my liking. June 22 - 10.40AM Watered 4-5L to runoff at 6.3PH. Should have watered yesterday, though pot was still relatively heavy. Removed one dead leaf resting on budsite. June 23 - 06.00AM Removed a few dead leaves. Trichomes are still cloudy. Some milky, it's close - though little to no ambers. June 24 - 07.00PM Removed more dead leaves + 1 healthy accidentally. Trichomes are about the same. Removed all LST ties.

4cm vertical growth this week. Flowering stretch finished now. She is ~1m wide........

12 weeks total for a strange strange plant that turned out wonderful in the end!

In this week i removed a few big leaves to ensure the light exposure for the blossom. They look a bit naked now but they can focus the energy in the buds now and I‘m looking forward to harvest them in the next few weeks.

Slight nute burn from last weeks feeding, you can just see yellowing on the tips, this week just fed water and molasses, 1 tbsp to 3ltrs, also gave a small water mid week, PH at 6.5. For the molasses the filtered water was coming out at a PH of 8, added the molasses which brought it down to 5.8. Plants looking and feeling healthy, I think most of the stretch is over and now she is concentrating on fattening up her buds, starting to frost...boom. Continues to respond well to LST, have only had to give a slight defoliation so far.

I can see these are going to be much larger than the space, even though I only used 2 gallon pots. i’m going to have to top them all in order to fit them in one tent. They are just beautiful and healthy and perfect in every way except for the CBD because I dropped her when I was doing the transplant. 👍. 3/6 I mixed up 3 mL of silica into a gallon three separate times.
