Since my plant is sativa dominant, I decided to abandon the use of Hybrids and change the base fertilizer to GHE. I use Root Booster and Diamond Nectar exclusively in the form of a spray on the leaf, so that organic matter does not shorten the life of the solution. Mister small has built up root power and copes with abundant watering more easily. I water it 2 times a day for 10 minutes. After watering the PH solution grows slightly, I let it balance between 5.5 and 6.2. I also updated the first post in the report. Added information about my system and lighting!👽

Green House Feeded one is enjoying life and keeps stretching. Advanced Nutrients one moved to left top corner and she seems to be doing better than last week. Light intensisty is at 90% in 50 cm distance.

Combined the cop of water and paper towel method then planted the sprouts in root root cubes

Re-potted into ceramic pots today and, indeed, the bottom 3/4 of the soil was quite damp. The root system was larger than I expected but quite grey in color, not vibrant white. I'm going away for 10 days so I'll just leave these babies alone and hopefully they lively up themselves.

I have watered her twice this week, once with 3l of rain water and once with 3,5l of rain water. I will probably up the volume a bit more next week. There are still some burned tips but the rest of the plant is OK. I will not be home for the next 2 weeks so I will rely on other people to take care of my girls, hopefully it al goes well🙏.

Controlando el ph y alimentándolas bien, no tienen por qué suponer ninguna complicación en su ciclo. En floración procuramos que jamas suba la humedad por encima del 50% ni que la temperatura sea muy elevada, podemos falicitar la formacion de hongos... y no queremos eso. Resumiendo, bastante contento con la evolución de las Lemon kush. Hasta la próxima semana familia.

11/30 - 12/5: The bigger Zenzations has the beginnings of a small apex flower. Both Zenzations continue to look great, but the big story is the turn around the Black Jacks have made. They've tripled in height in 2 weeks and have nice, long lower branching. Both Gorilla Girls are stretching well now and have huge fan leaves, so I think they've still got some stretching to do. I dialed back the lights to 13 hours of daylight on the 4th. 12/6: I fed them today.

Start of Week 10 - Day 64 07/05: We’re at week 10 and the ladies are still going strong! Both Aaliyah and Alexis have overgrown my setup with their height, so I have tied their main colas down. This probably means that if the buds get too big in the future I’m probably gonna have to hold them up. But for big buds it’s worth it. Aaliyah is at 34” with the bend and Alexis is at 32” with the bend. Annie is now at 27”, but she’s getting taller each day. I’ve kept the waterings at a day and a half, but pH levels in runoff were dropping, so I’ve raised the it to 6.00pH. Aaliyah’s runoff had high levels of salt, so I’m planning on also lowering her feedings to 900μS. I still have full light on them for about 20 hours a day and as of the last watering, there are no pests, dead or alive. Let’s hope the ladies have an awesome week. 07/06: I noticed Annie has some leaves with small burnt tips that I thought were caused by nutrient burns, but her last few EC readings in the runoff were good. I just realized that since she is directly under the light she is getting blasted with rays. I think the tips are signs of light burn. Another mistake in my grow, but I’m learning so it’s not for nothing. I made a “solution” to my light distance problem using garden twine and a carabiner. It’ll do for now. 07/10: The ladies are still looking good. Aaliyah’s and Alexis’s buds are getting bigger. All three plants have not grown in height for the last few days, so I think the stretch is coming to an end. I switched off the blue vegetative light and left only the red flowering light. I’m curious to see if this will cause any change in bud growth. I also found a fly in one of the plant trays and also one on the trap. The fight continues.

Verwendete Hesi-Produkte: • Hesi Hydro Wuchs: Die Hauptmahlzeit für Stickstoff und Power. • Hesi Wurzel Complex: Weiterhin essenziell, um die Wurzelmasse zu stabilisieren. • Hesi SuperVit/PowerZyme: Für Vitamine und eine saubere Tank-Umgebung. Fazit der Woche: Absolute Bilderbuch-Performance in der Vegi! Die Hesi-Hydro-Produkte funktionieren wie erwartet. Jetzt heißt es, den pH-Wert zu stabilisieren und die Wurzel-Prinzessin für ihre Hauptrolle vorzubereiten.

12/04 - Well, Pinky had a bucket change today and I'm a little concerned because, quite frankly, my aging brain completely forgot she's probably allergic to the Micro ... so I may have to do another bucket change tomorrow and get rid of it... I'll let her rest overnight and see how she's doing in the morning ... She's definitely a light "eater" - her EC should have been at 0.8 last week and this week it should be getting to 1.0-1.2 - but she just doesn't react well to the higher EC levels... She has gained SO MUCH HEIGHT this past week! It's truly astounding... Maybe the lights weren't close enough, maybe she's just a helluva gal but seriously - 8-1/2" in a week?! She's starting to scare me! LOL! 12/06 - LOOK AT HER LEAVES!!! They've started to uncurl!!!! In talking to another grower about her, I'm realizing that what she had been desperate for was more PK so the addition of the KoolBloom liquid AND the fact the pH kept going up (apparently a sign she's gobbling up the PK) says THIS is what she was hungry for... in fact, I need to give her more today as the pH is still floating upward and is too high... But PINKY!!! Maybe I've figured out what you've been wanting?! (Well, to give proper credit, @Roberts helped me to see what you were saying!) ... cross your fingers, she's on her way... And she's starting to show her colors in the buds now, too... I'm excited! 12/07 - Had to move this lady... she's gained 5" in the last 3 days and I was running out of options.... Next time, if there IS a next time, I'll probably end up scrogging her... But now she's a roommate to my #2Bruce in the closet with a 7' ceiling and she'd better not run out of upward growth space!!!!

1 plant was very ripe, 1 plant was almost perfect to harvest and the 3rd could take another 1-2 weeks...but it was end of 10th week of flower and i had to go on vacation, so i perhaps choped 1 plant abit too early....still awesome result!

Placing a dehumidifier or humidifier in the grow box turned out to be ineffective when both devices have their own automated settings. For instance, a humidifier set to 55% humidity works within a ±5% range, meaning it waits until the humidity drops below 50% to turn on and runs until it hits 60%. Since its sensor refreshes every 30 seconds, it might show 54% one moment and jump to 61% the next—not exactly stable at 55%. The dehumidifier behaves similarly. To achieve more consistent results, it’s better to rely on a hygrometer inside the grow box and use “dumb” devices that simply turn on when powered. Connecting these devices to smart outlets provides more precise control. For manual control, I maintained around 55% humidity by turning the humidifier and exhaust fan on and off via phone. Most moisture and aroma are released during the first three days, then taper off. The common rule of “when thin branches snap, it’s dry” led me to overdry my buds. A more reliable method is to monitor the hygrometer. When humidity stabilizes after the initial rise, wait one more day and then jar the buds. Rehydrating Overdried Buds: Overdried buds can be revived with a small piece of mandarin (or orange) peel, about 2.5x2.5 cm. Thoroughly wash the peel (even sanitize it if needed), cut a square, and place it on top of the buds in the jar. In my experience, this brought the humidity from 46% to 62% within 4 hours. Afterward, burp the jars for 15 minutes and monitor the hygrometer. If the humidity drops below 55%, return the peel for a few more hours. Once stable at 60-62%, remove the peel and continue curing, burping the jars twice daily for 15 minutes. As for humidity packs like Integra Boost or Boveda, I used them because I had some lying around. These packs are designed for 12 grams of product, so they don’t make a big difference in larger jars. If you burp jars daily and gently rotate the buds, they’re not really necessary. Trimming and Results: After 7 days of drying, I decided to trim dry this time. It turned out to be somewhat more convenient—everything gets covered in resin anyway, but the remaining leaves easily fall off, speeding up the process. I went for a tight trim, removing as much as possible. During the process, I felt disappointed seeing how little remained on the branches. The buds turned out airy and small, and I started cursing American genetics halfway through the trim. However, when it came to weighing, the results were surprisingly decent. Considering the buds' poor appearance, they’re not going to impress anyone visually, so it might have been easier to shred everything and use it for extraction. I don’t have extraction equipment, so I’ll make cannabutter from the trim, and the buds can rest in jars for now. Takeaways: Use a proper hygrometer for humidity control, not built-in sensors on humidifiers or dehumidifiers. Overdried buds can be easily rehydrated with citrus peel. Daily burping and rotation are sufficient for curing without humidity packs. Dry trimming can be faster and more convenient but may highlight issues with bud density. Despite underwhelming appearance, high resin content makes the strain great for extraction.

This is my second grow and first soil grow and @Apotforpot came in clutch with the super soil, all I had to do was add water no nutes. The strain is Exotic Seeds Black Haze and took 12 weeks from germination, the plant took a lot of abuse too with cold,high humidity, ect and it grew perfectly so thank you exotic seeds!!! I will be growing again I love this strain and everyone else does too. I want to thank everyone that commented and helped along the way I truly appreciate it! I hope everyone enjoys my journal

Hey hey growmies! another longer week, as I wanted to show these girls bouncing back from some problems I ran into with my Kratky experiment. about halfway through the week my plants started drooping and showing signs of overwatering, my guess is either the plant outgrew her air roots or the reservoir was too hot, inhibiting the plants ability to take up oxygen. either way, a quick peek at the roots showed some very healthy looking noodles, so I decided to not take any chances and come up with a solution that would solve both those problems. I took a 3 litre container, put a coat of primer and black paint on it to keep light out, then a layer of plumbers tape to bounce some of the grow lights off of the container, theoretically keeping the heat out, some other things I could have done was paint it white, or put some wall insulation around it. I could have also kept my jars and tried some troubleshooting, fill them less and more often. but I am happy with the roots created by Kratky, that's the nice thing about that system, it forces the roots to grow more horizontally, the roots have now created a sturdy foundation for low stress training and are perfect for placing into DWC. so that's what I did, I added a tiny pump and air stone, and for now both plants will sit in this tiny container, The Runtz will be moved to the tent as soon as possible, hopefully before these girl's roots get entangled, If that does happen, I will have to trim back some of the Runtz roots, I don't want to hurt the autoflower. now you've likely wondered what is up with the host of deficiencies the plants are showing, honestly that's just neglect on my part. I can tell there's damage from overwatering, pH fluctuations and even some lockouts. I am more on top of it now, the pH is more stable, the plants are getting oxygen and will recover plenty before flower. Plus I get to show off how hardy ruderalis is, look at the auto-flower compared to the photo period, she barely cares about the high temps, pH fluctuations all she appears to want is more food, so I have increased the ec to 1 ms, but most importantly, ill keep the pH in a range where they can actually take up the nutrients now That's it for now Growmies, Thanks for checking out my diary.
