Week 5: Transplant Time & Root Power! Oh man, this was one of those weeks! We transplanted all five phenos into bigger pots, and let me tell you, they’re thriving! (Check out the complete video episode for all the details 😉). The girls are looking amazing, all pretty much the same size for now, so I don’t have any favorites yet—but let’s see what the future holds! For photos, I used both my Nikon P900 and Sony A6000, with a bunch of lenses and filters to preserve the true colors—these LEDs are powerful! Current Setup & Conditions This week, they’re still chilling with their sisters in the big tent, but in about a week, they’ll be moving into the TrolMaster ecosystem for even better environmental control. Watering: pH 6.06, EC 0.96 Temperature: A bit cold , but it is what it is. We’re facing some freezing outdoor temps (as shown last week in the frosty veggie garden pics!), yet these Runtz are holding strong like true champions. 💪❄️ Nutrition: Still on the Aptus Clean Program, with: Regulator System Clean RO Water Conditioner All-in-One Liquid Root Development: The Real MVP! Let’s go deep on roots! The mycorrhizae in the Pro-Mix soil has been working its magic, and I’m still boosting them further with a touch of Aptus Holland Mycor Mix. The root development on this transplant was insane—super white, healthy, and ready to explode with growth. What Are Mycorrhizae? The word “mycorrhiza” comes from Greek: • Myco- meaning fungus • Rhiza- meaning root Mycorrhizae are a type of beneficial fungi that form a symbiotic (mutually beneficial) relationship with plant roots. These fungi extend far beyond the root zone, creating an underground network that helps plants absorb water, nutrients, and improve overall health. This is not a single species but rather a whole category of fungi, mainly divided into: 1. Ectomycorrhizae – Live on the outside of plant roots, forming a sheath around them. Common in trees like pines and oaks. 2. Endomycorrhizae (Arbuscular Mycorrhizae, AMF) – The most beneficial for most crops and cannabis. These penetrate root cells, forming structures inside the roots that exchange nutrients. Where Are Mycorrhizae Found in Nature? Mycorrhizae naturally occur in forests, grasslands, and undisturbed soils worldwide. They play a crucial role in maintaining ecosystem balance by helping plants access nutrients from the soil. In a natural environment, plants are constantly forming relationships with these fungi. However, in modern agriculture, excessive tilling, chemical fertilizers, and fungicides have reduced their populations, making supplementation necessary in many cases. How Do Mycorrhizae Work? Once mycorrhizae colonize a plant’s roots, they start forming an underground fungal network called the mycelium. This network extends the plant’s reach into the soil, acting as a second root system. Benefits of Mycorrhizae: ✅ Enhanced Nutrient Uptake – Mycorrhizae help plants absorb phosphorus, nitrogen, and micronutrients that would otherwise be unavailable. ✅ Improved Water Absorption – The fungal network can reach deeper into the soil than roots alone, helping plants survive drought conditions. ✅ Stronger, Healthier Roots – They promote thicker, more robust root systems, reducing transplant shock. ✅ Better Soil Structure – They produce glomalin, a protein that improves soil aggregation and helps retain moisture. ✅ Natural Pest & Disease Resistance – Healthy plants with strong mycorrhizal relationships tend to be more resistant to soil-borne pathogens. Its been pretty smooth this week, only mistake was that the light was to close so I got lightburn and bleaching on 2 tops, lesson learned. The SF4000 is still put at 85% and im still slowly cutting down the nitrogen, im currently feeding 2:1:1 ratio of (4-18-38/magnesium sulphate/calcium nitrate)

The plant is developing well despite the high temperature. During the week the weather got better, the plant is growing well.

Pretty easy going week. I appear to be understanding the plants needs a little bit more and they are reacting well to it. I was away for the last few days of this week and was happy to return to slightly larger buds. Both girls are smelling beautiful! The bud sites are looking good. The AK is slightly ahead and at a guess think she has another 2 or 3 weeks till harvest. I feel like the West Coast will be slightly longer. Am giving the AK a half feed instead of watering as she seems a big hungry. Hoping the buds swell up some more before they are ready to harvest!

LSD — Week 13 From Seed | 12/12 From Seed, No Veg Week 13 from seed, and this room is fully alive. What started as a true 12/12 from seed run—no veg, no transplant games, no extended shaping, just straight into flower from the beginning—has now matured into exactly what this style is meant to show: natural structure, honest expression, and plants allowed to speak for themselves. From day one, these LSD were asked to do one thing only: grow with intent. No long vegetative period. No oversized training sessions. No forced bush structure. No attempt to make them become something they were never meant to be. Just seed, root, stretch, stack, mature. And that is exactly why this room looks the way it does now. ⸻ Why They Look Like This One of the most beautiful things about 12/12 from seed is that it reveals plant character early and honestly. Without a long vegetative period, these plants never had the time—or the pressure—to build wide, heavily manipulated frameworks. Instead, they followed a more natural vertical rhythm: apical dominance stayed intact, main tops remained leading, and side branching developed in support rather than competition. That is why this room carries that classic spear-shaped structure: strong central leaders, supporting side branches, elegant vertical stacking, and that clean “natural Christmas tree” silhouette from top to bottom. For many growers, this shape reads visually “sativa.” Not because the cultivar suddenly became sativa-dominant, but because the growth pattern expresses more like one under this method: taller posture, longer frame, more pronounced central cola, cleaner lateral support, and less squat horizontal bulk. Genetically, that is not the full story. Structurally, though? That is exactly what they are showing. And they are showing it beautifully. ⸻ The Room Is Alive At this stage, the room has changed. This is no longer a room pushing for biomass. This is no longer a room chasing stretch. This is no longer a room trying to build flowers. This is now a room finishing them. And there is a difference. Everything still breathes. Everything still drinks. Everything still moves. But the energy has shifted. The room feels quieter now. Heavier. More deliberate. They are simply no longer spending energy on building mass the way they were before. Now the focus is density. Oil. Maturation. Expression. Completion. And you can see it everywhere. In the fading leaves. In the shifting greens. In the swelling calyx. In the resin weight. In the smell. In the silence. This room is not slowing down. It is finishing. ⸻ Why We Are No Longer Feeding Nutrients At this stage, we are no longer feeding for growth. The heavy work is done. The plant has already built the frame. It has already stacked the flowers. It has already done the bulk of nutrient-driven expansion. Now the goal is not to keep pushing. Now the goal is to let the plant finish clean. That is why we have moved away from active nutrient feeding and into a much softer finish: water, balance, and enzymes. Not because the plant needs nothing. Because the plant needs less. Late flower is not the moment to keep forcing nitrogen, forcing bulk, or trying to squeeze one more week of artificial push into a plant that is already trying to mature. At this point, more food often does not mean more flower. It usually means more delay. So now we reduce input, reduce excess, reduce waste, and let the plant focus on what matters most: ripening what it already built. ⸻ Why Enzymes Still Matter This late, enzymes are not here to “feed the plant.” They are here to support the system around it. That matters. Enzymes help break down dead root material, leftover organic residue, and unused matter in the medium into simpler compounds the microbial life can continue processing. That keeps the rhizosphere cleaner. More stable. More oxygenated. Less stagnant. In simple terms: enzymes help the root zone age gracefully. And in late flower, that matters more than force-feeding ever will. Especially in a run like this, where the medium is still alive, still active, and still worth preserving after harvest. Because the goal is not just to finish the plant well. The goal is to finish the soil well too. What remains after harvest still matters. That living medium still has value. That biology still has work to do. That soil still has another life ahead of it. So we are not just finishing flowers. We are finishing the cycle properly. ⸻ Trichomes, Calyx, and What Maturity Actually Looks Like This is the stage where people often mistake “more pistils” for “more time” or “fading leaves” for “finished.” Neither one tells the full story on its own. Late flower maturity is not judged by one signal. It is judged by the conversation between all of them. And right now, that conversation is getting very interesting. The calyx are swelling. The flowers are tightening. The resin heads are becoming heavier. The pistils are changing, receding, darkening, and curling back. The leaves are beginning to fade with purpose. That does not mean they are done. It means they are transitioning. This is the window where the plant stops looking like it is building flowers and starts looking like it is sealing them. That is a very different phase. Calyx swelling means the flower is maturing inward. Pistil change means reproductive signaling is slowing. Trichome development means chemistry is shifting. Fade means mobile reserves are being reallocated. None of these alone call harvest. Together, they begin the conversation. And that conversation is clearly underway now. ⸻ PPFD, Light, and the Final Adjustment This late, the job of light changes too. Earlier, high PPFD was there to drive growth, stacking, and metabolic demand. Now that demand is lower. So light intensity comes down with it. Not dramatically. Not suddenly. Just intelligently. As plants approach the end, reducing PPFD helps lower unnecessary stress, reduce excess transpiration, and let the plant focus on ripening instead of defending itself from intensity it no longer needs. Late flower is not about maximum push. It is about controlled finish. And just like nutrients, light now becomes less about force and more about guidance. ⸻ What to Expect Next From here, do not expect explosive growth. That part is over. Do not expect dramatic new stacking. Do not expect sudden weight jumps. Do not expect fresh white explosions everywhere. What to expect now is subtler. Denser flowers. Heavier resin. Slower drinking. More fade. More aroma. Less urgency. More definition. The next stage is not louder. It is deeper. This is where the plant sharpens. This is where the room gets quieter. This is where harvest starts introducing itself before it arrives. Whether this is the final update before chop or simply the one that stands right beside it, one thing is certain: we are close now. This week I’m defoliated the baby’s hard so all the nuggs are getting light

Day 36, 15.05.2024 - The week starts with no real action but to double check the position of the branches within the trellis net. No surprise here, that the manual "rerouting" is getting lesser and lesser. The branches found their spots! - We start the week at 38cm height. I think we look at another week of stretch, but it already feels like slowing down. Day 37, 16.05.2024 - a round of drinks to the ladies: 600ml each inkl. Nutrition according to plan. Next watering might be on the weekend. Day 38, 17.05.2024 No action today besides taking a couple of close-up pictures for documenting things. Both are looking fine. Soil is dry, next watering tomorrow morning. Day 39, 18.05.2024 A round of drinks with nutrition: 600ml each inkl. BioBizz Grow, Bloom and TopMax Day 40, 19.05.2024 No real action today. I pre-rendered the timelapse for the running week (5 days in 1133 Pictures :D ) and noticed: The stretch ended more or less in the end of day 37. You can see it clearly that there is no significant grow since then. So from now on all the nutrients will be used to build up the buds which is I guess a nice milestone! Soil is getting dry again - watering will happen in the morning I guess. Jeez, they are thirsty these days! Day 41, 20.05.2024 Gave the ladies a drink right after sunrise (at least to them) at about 1800. Both look good, nothing much to do I guess. Day 42, 21.05.2024 No action today but to close the week with uploading a timelapse video. Enjoy!

Hello. This is the last pictures of the growing Sweet Zenzation. I'll be cutting them down after a couple of days of dark. I'm pleased with the way this plant grew. Big dense buds and the stock was strong enough to hold up the big buds. The buds have a darker color sort of purplish to them. The smell is pleasant, sweet and candyish. I wonder which fruit'z these Zkittlez tastes like?? : ) I'll cut some taster buds and let them dry while the buds are curing and be ready to make a smoke report when I come back with the harvest report. Well after a miscalculation on the feeding weeks I am back on track. I gave them a drink of PH 6.2 water on the 15th I will feed them this week with another Bloom, Humic Acid and Big Fruits I will increase them by 2 ml per gallon. I am out of the PK booster and should have enough of the other Green Buzz Nutrients to last the grow. They seem to be responding well to the feedings. I might have a little nutrient burn on some of the sugar leaves. Over all autos that don't get very big, the PPM level I have been giving them might be a little high. so one more week of feeding after this 1/25 last food before the 2week flush with Clean Fruits from Green Buzz Nutrients. something similar to a flawless finish I am guessing. till next week Roll Bigger Joints.😺

Stretch starting

DAY 59: The Lucky Charms has been very stubborn in revealing its sex. I think I have a confirmed pollen sack posted above, but will wait another day or two to make sure. Its giving me low-level anxiety worrying about it pollinating my flowering female in the same room. The White Widow is itching for some training and a larger pot. I've been using LST to try and open her up, but by the next day, a bushy node has filled the void. Unfortunately, the veg area of my tent is a bit tight, and it will be another 6 weeks or so before the flowering room is available for late-veg. I also just started 2 clones and 3 seedlings so its about to get packed in there lol. A work around for this would be to switch the WW to a 5-gal soon, keep it in the flowering room for the 12 hours of light [lights in the flowering room are on during nighttime hours (KEEPS ELECTRIC BILL DOWN)], then pull it out in the morning for an extra 6 hrs of sunshine. This would free up room for the incoming babies, as well as liberate the WW from the tight space. Because I have a feeling this White Widow is going to be a monster of a plant pretty soon.

Saturday 16-11-24 , Flowering day # 53 week 8. Harvest day! Cut branches off plants & hung the 2 front plants off the light. Put scrog net back in with a large flyscreen laying on top, & spread branches from the back plant over it. This allows complete air flow around the buds. Running a single oscillating fan beneath pointing to the bottom. Temperature is around 24°C & RH is 55%

Day 26-33 (May 17th-24th) (Day 27) I wanted to experiment with an organic PK boost in flower so I’m top dressing most of the plants with 2-5.5-5.5 nature’s pride bloom, 0-18-0 bat guano, 1-0-3 kelp meal and a dash of oyster shell and rock dust. Two of the plants I gave just nature’s pride bloom but I’ve already forgotten which ones. I hope that small amount of N won’t continue to tox the plants. I’m pretty sure I got rid of most of the N with that last big watering. I also did a decent defoliation on most of the lower leaves and branches and a few of the uppers. (Day 30) A few of the plants definitely didn’t like the N. I’m seeing some odd clawing and very dark green and shiny leaves. (Day 31) I’m going to flush out the toxed plants with at least a gallon and give the other plants a normal watering with some runoff. I’m going to wait a week or so until I see start to see some deficiencies then I will give them each an individual feeding tailored to their deficiency or just leave them be. This is why growing multiple different strains in a single room can be a problem unfortunately. And using organic dry amendments will never be as accurate as hydro nutes for individual feedings. (Day 33) The smell in here is practically non existent. I don’t even have a carbon filter on my fan. If it starts to smell I will vent it directly outside but as of now, the smell is still quite low. BAOGC 1 & 2 are leading the pack in terms of density, structure and bag appeal. The smell is almost like a sweet rotten milk. Not super overpowering but it’s got some good terps for sure. #1 looks like it will be slightly denser and bigger nugs. I’ve grown this once before with mad deficiencies and this time it has won me over. I’m all around impressed so far. Blueberry #1 has that really old school look, with leaves protruding out of the main cola. It has perfect structure and node spacing but will definitely be on the leafy side. The smell is very weak but nostalgic. The trichomes are barely visable and almost all stalk. A very undesirable trait when breeding for high thc. #2 is garbage in my opinion. It’s basically #1 with less frost and no good structure. TWOG is somewhat average so far. It has good structure and decent frost but not much else going for it. The smell is feint but is earthy/piney. It’s certainly better than the blueberries and jacks but that doesn’t say much. The jacks are looking like trash right now. They’re stretchy, didn’t handle N well and the bud structure is very airy. I’m sure I made lots of errors but the genetic potential for these 2 is not the greatest either way. Pheno #1 smells slightly lemony/citrusy but still looks almost identical to the other. I personally love the smell of the knuckled #2 pheno. It’s a light, sweet, fruity candy smell. The scent is very nostalgic as most of the commercial black market stuff in my area (2007-2011) had the same exact smell, color and look. These will probably take an extra week or 2 before they’re filled out.
