Let’s start vegetation. In the next days I’ll check temperatures and humidity to try to control them at best. PH Perfect technology is not perfect anymore when using custom nutrients rates, even using only AN products, so I added some GHE PH- to move the PH in the 5.7 range.
First time growing in coco, hope everything will be ok! 👊
Coco coir used:
CANNA COCO PROFESSIONAL PLUS+
UPDATE 27/11:
I’ve named each one of the 3 plants:
1) Gori
2) Rilla
3) Glue
The plants have received the same nutrient/ph/ litres treatment but it seems that GLUE is the weakest one of the 3. Maybe the issue is too low ph (5.6/5.7), so now I am giving them the same nutrients with a PH of 6.1. Let’s see if this can solve the issue.
Gori & Rilla are growing beautifully, Glue is still suffering. The plants are doing well but Runoff EC is very high. Next week I’m planning to transplant Gori & Rilla to a 25 lt (7 gallon) pot so I can give them 1 or 2 feedings per day having an acceptable runoff EC
🌱
Starting Veg Week 3:
✅ Transplanted Gori & Rilla into 26,5 LT pots, hope this helps to reduce the EC value of Runoff since i gave them only one feed per day.
✅ say bye bye to Glue 😇, I was not satisfied with the plant and simply I’m not going to waste expensive AN nutrients
Maybe this week I’ll start some LST and small defoliation
🌱
✅ UPDATE: today I started making LST and minimal defoliation on both plants, details in photos
🌱
Week 4 keep doing LST and defoliation just to expose the branches to light and to remove leaves which can cover the future flowers. Both of them seems doing well
End of VEG week 4: plants are doing really well and starts to show some small hairs. Tomorrow (week 5) I am going to start the flowering feeding program. Today I make some LST and defoliation
🌱
Note: since I use the 7 weeks Advanced Nutrients flowering program, a flowering week is 5 days only
WEEK 1 FLOWERING
keep correcting the direction of the branches with LST and defoliate the leaves that cover the flowers

FLOWERING WEEK 2
Plant still need to keep LST updated day after day and same thing to defoliation (just the leaves that cover the buds). I also remove the small flowers at the bottom of the branches. Every day I correct directions and heights of the branches
🌱
Hard LST today! (See HLST photos)
Week 3 flowering (a week is 5 days)
Both plants begin to seriously flower with some early trichomes on leaves and buds. It seems that Gori is quite in a more advanced status compared to Rilla. I also changed the nutrients compositions following the 3rd week Advanced Nutrients for coco professional program (I calculated EC of every single nutrient and made a custom dosage program for every week according to a more realistic EC value - check nutrients in my diary).
Plants are doing well, leaves are beautifully green without signs of nutrients burns, excess or deficiencies. They are watered every day in the morning with fertilized water. Every day I also correct the training of the branches, removing unwanted popcorn/bottom growth and removing leaves that covers buds and leaves that don’t perform well (i.e.: leaves at the bottom that will not take light).

Week 4 flowering (a week is 5 days)
Both plants keep developing some beautiful flowers with beautiful hairs and trochomes on bids and leaves. The nutrients blend is the same as week 3. Advanced Nutrients for coco professional program (I calculated EC of every single nutrient and made a custom dosage program for every week according to a more realistic EC value - check nutrients in my diary).

Week 5 flowering (a week is 5 days)
I lowered the longer branches trying to give as more light as possible to the plants, correct some top branches direction and defoliate a little bit.
Both plants keep developing some beautiful flowers with beautiful hairs and trichomes on buds and leaves. This week I started using Overdrive in my feeding blend.

Week 6 flowering (a week is 5 days)
Leaving the plants as they are, maybe I am going to do some defoliation in the next days to expose some lower flowers to light
Lowered the nutrients total EC to 0,85 hoping they’ll fatten the buds
UPDATE:
Check “UPDT” marked phots which are referred to a LST and defoliation I did today (removing unwanted leaves and lowered the external branches).
Both plants (Gori & Rilla) are LARGE and SHORT, the way I like to grow and buds start to really fatten up!
🌱
Week 7 flowering (7 days week)
Turns out that buds weren’t large and dense enough. I was a little bit worried about that, so I lowered the nutrients an extra little bit and removed OVERDRIVE to re-introduce BIG BUD COCO: now after 5 days I can definitely see an improvement in size. There are some nutes issues on some leaves, but as soon as the buds are growing well I do not care so much, also because next week I’m planning to go back to OVERDRIVE for a little bit and then give them a nice super flush for a week or so.
NO LST / NO DEFOLIATION at all this week
🌱
This week starts woth a big final defoliation: I removed all the “long stems” leaves and changes big bud coco with overdrive. Plants looks healthy, with big buds and snowy trychomes. I’m giving more time to see if they developes even bigger and denser buds. Let’s see how they performs in 5 days, then I start flushing.
THE STRAIN IS AMAZING: piney, lemony, sticky, full of snow...A REAL GLUE! Can’t wait to see how it turns out when dryed!
