Week 10 Flower — The Beauty Before the Finish This week marks a very special chapter in the Eternity Grow Cup. As we approach harvest, the garden is simply glowing with beauty. Every corner, every canopy, every branch tells a story — and this week, I’ve taken the time to slow down and capture that story as best I can through the lens of my camera. All the photos you’ll see in this update were taken with care and intention. I use my Sony camera in full manual focus mode, and I don’t just snap and go — I spend time with each plant, each angle, waiting for that perfect moment when everything aligns. These are not just photos to document — they’re my attempt to reflect the feeling of the room, the energy of the grow, and the soul of each plant. Just like with the videos, I don’t shoot randomly and decide later. I record what matters, and what I record, I use. It keeps me focused, organized, and deeply connected to the process — and I believe it helps me tell the story more clearly, whether through stills or moving pictures. Each one expressing unique traits, but all carrying the same stunning quality — dense, clean, colorful, resin-rich flowers that fill the room with pride. But for those who love the details, the full spread of pictures is right here, as always. t this point in flower, the girls are not eating — they’re just drinking clean water with nothing but System Clean in the reservoir, at a rate of 0.25 ml per liter. This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. For me, the trade-off is worth it — the plants are expressing themselves beautifully, finishing strong, and packing on the final magic. Now it’s your turn — I’d love to hear from you. This was a complementary seed from True North Bank and I've never had much interest in the Amnesia lines out there until now. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to purchase these seeds but definitely speaks for the quality Canuk can offer and I would consider trying other strains they have to offer too. Yield was great considering the phosphorus deficiency at the beginning/middle of flower. I'm totally lost with Amnesia! Lol Also forgot to add that all my bud gets washed in a H202/distilled water after trimming, before drying. This is why some of the pictures of branches hanging look wet.

Replacement seeds not fairing well lol but chosen mothers are thriving

Used royal queen seed fems popped 4 and 3 where successfully. Through veg stage no problems quite sturdy plants growth rate was the same on all round, had abit of nitrogen deficiency. Flower stage everything changed plants started to grow at different weeks and need separate feeds which became annoying, think this was done to pheno types being different. Drying stage: I used this new herb dryer called wedryer for to plants and hung the other in the tent. Wedryer works if you have small yield as can’t fit a lot, drys within a week though but also looses flavour. Have to wet trim bud and then leaves bud flat in one side due to them sitting on the dryer netting. Has fan with carbon filter which stops smells. (But myself prefer hang drying). Used trimbag to finish the buds off love this product and recommend to others to buy.

I put the plants under the Electric Sky 180 V2 I kept only 4 plants because one was growing really slow compare to the others and another turned out to be a automatic plant so i took it away as well. I am keeping 2 phenos of the Nanaz x BBC and 2 ot the Humboldt Headband.

Update Day 14 Flowering: Pog is ambling along stacking her neat little buds up ready for long colas i hope. Temps here have been crazy hot for the UK. 34°c at points which is slowing them a little but with lots of airflow incoming , the rh is not too bad at 70% and i am watching for mould like a sheepdog for wolves.lol Another happy Barneys Farm Girl

The production of trichomes is improving every time and the terpene profile is great, without a doubt a good BHO will come out of those flowers

After you found some good sector and clone it you let the mycelium grow and fill almost all the petri dish like I did last week. So now you're ready to move forward. Making grain spawn!🍄🍄 For grain you can use Organic Rye Berries, but you can also get away with wheat berries, or brown rice or even corn kernels(which I used myself) ! And you'll need some mason jars or honestly I used some jars that I had home just clean them very well and sterilise before using Making a grain spawn can be broken down into 6 easy steps. 🍄Hydrate Grain By Soaking 🍄Make Specialized Lids 🍄Simmer, Drain and Dry The Grain 🍄Sterilize 🍄Put your agar in the jar 🍄Colonize 🍄Soak the grain by placing it in a bucket, covering in water, and leaving it for 12 -24 hours. Easy. 🍄Drill 1 hole on top of the lid. Right in the center and cover with a small dab of high temperature silicone sealant, and leave it overnight to dry. And your jars are done. There other diff types for different methods like liquid culture etc. But I'm just going roughly through what Ive done. 🍄The next step is to simmer the grains on the stove. This will thoroughly hydrate the grains, and will soften them to make them easier for the mushroom mycelium to consume. Cook soaked grain on the stove for about 15 minutes. You don’t want to cook it too long, because eventually all the grain will crack and you’ll get some mushy grain spawn. We don't want that. 🧐After the grains have simmered on a low boil, you’ll need to drain them off. What I did is I drop them in the sink with the drain cover on. The grains will drain over an hour or so, after which you can go ahead and fill your jars. 🍄Once your jars are filled, they need to be sterilised.This kills off all the other nasty contaminants in the grain cover the lids in tinfoil (to prevent water dripping into the lid) and then just pressure sterilise them for about 90 minutes at 15 psi. 🍄After that let them cool down. Get your SAB, wipe down the walls with some alcohol wipes and place the jars inside. And wait untill they will be warm to the touch... not hot and painful 😤patience is key. Bring in your plates that had been stored by you in a dark place. And what u have to do is sterilise your scalpel and just accurately and efficiently decide your mycelium into about 10 pieces and quickly place them in your jar. And complete for every jar u make. You have to be very quick. The more you keep you're jar and your agar plates lids open the more cans they will get contaminated. There certain technics you can see online.. 🍄Ones you're done close all your jars lids tight and Jake your jar so the mycelium pieces will mix around the jar and place them in the dark place to colonize. And just keep waiting... 😅 Untill the mycelium will conquer your grain. Keep your eyes on the jars, any weird smells or colour during the waiting time.. because that would mean you got a contamination going on. Oh yeah and when about 55% of your jar is filled with mycilium shake the sh*t out of it so it will break the mycilium inside and make spread more faster.

Still waiting on them beneficial bugs to arrive at my door mail, meanwhile i keep giving my love and attention to her and she despite the uninvited thrips and the spiderweb here and there that i yet am able to identify the source and i clean every day, she still is looking pretty nice to my eyes, not at all the best color leaf or what ever, she seams to be always starving, i keep increase my EC and the run out it keeps coming lower lol, she is a demanding litle fellow this one 😇😇😇 I will keep you all posted as for what i am doing and how i will deal with this situation so stay tuned since this can go one way or the other lol <3 <3 <3 As always thank you all for stoping by, for checking my journey , for the love support and for it all, i am blessed and humble with you all.
