These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. This part of the process — the cure — is where the soul of the flower truly comes to life. ☀️ UV, Reds & The Perfect Run Part of what made this run so special was the precision in light spectrum. 40% whites, full reds, UV and IR, and the girls responded like royalty. The UV pushed trichome development to the max. The deep reds gave us thickness, color, and weight. All of it under ThinkGrow Model Ones powered through the Trolmaster ecosystem — everything syncing in harmony. This run was stable, lush, expressive — a grower’s dream. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. Loud. Sticky. Resinous. 🌿 The Hidden Half: A Tribute to the Roots In every grow, there’s a part we don’t always see — a part that lives underground, quietly holding everything together. The roots. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. The Autopots system, combined with the Aptus Holland Clean Program and Plagron Green Sensation, made sure they had the perfect environment to expand, absorb, and thrive. This clone was a blast to grow. As a reminder, it was sent into flowering at a height of 20cm, i.e. 12/12h. it stretches incredibly and although it has thinner stems than the seed plants, the flowers become very dense and massive. The colouring of the lady is incredible! Lots of taco leaves some of them have started to turn purple.

She is still showing some healthy growth as the weather is great these summer days. Most notably she is getting more and more white pistils everywhere.

Started a little training, cut down the older fan leaves and topped up. I’m adding a tiny bit of root stimulator cause changed the pot size last week so it will to promote a faster growth. Gotta keep this lady low cause the box is quite small. So excited 😆

4/22/25: last flush 2 tsp of sledgehammer with 1 gallon of water used 2 gallons between all three plants…more cool colors coming in with the fade 4/24/25: fed with recommended dosage for week 11 on my schedule card (day 31 of flower) 4/27/25: watered with plain ph water at 6.8

Day 23 The third week of flowering is complete. Most of the height growth is finished. Time for a radical defoliation. The girls look great. Unfortunately, Kush has formed hermaphrodites on the flowers in the shade. I hope that I have removed them all. The lamp will be raised to 100% output in two stages.

The plants grew well this week, as did all the clones. Any extra rooted clones have been planted outdoors as a further experiment. We moved all the clones into a Veg room. Even though the large room is not in flower and still also in veg, we had to separate the plants due to lack of space. Also setting up for mother, clones and SOG in the future. The plants were defoliated and training continued. There are 2 weeks of Veg left hoping to have some very large plants for flowering. Aiming for large flowers.

Day 63 This plant is clearly behind the other Frostbanger . The buds are forming but they’re lighter and not as dense, and overall she just doesn’t have the same strength. I’ve noticed the leaves showing signs of calcium and magnesium deficiency for a while now – rusty spots, interveinal yellowing, and some crispy edges on the older fan leaves. Even after adding Cal/Mag supplements, the damage on the lower leaves is already visible and won’t recover, though the new growth looks a bit healthier. Despite the issues, the plant is still pushing through and producing some nice flowers. The pistils are starting to change color and a few trichomes are cloudy, but she’s definitely not as frosty or swollen as the stronger plants. The smell is there, just not as intense. I’ll let her go to see how much more she can develop, but I don’t expect the same yield. At this point it’s more about finishing her properly and learning from the deficiency for the next run.

As flores começaram a engordar bem mais rápido agora. Dá para perceber no decorrer da semana o aumento no volume dos buds. Devido ao peso eles estão pendendo para os lados. Tenho que colocar arames para mantê-las na vertical. Isso também melhoraria o espaçamento dos buds.

Have lights on sunrise sunset. The been testing out best high intensity lighting schedule. Wish I had c02 to add into the tent. Plants were getting 1600-1800 par for 3 hours a day. I noticed they were getting slight tip burn so I lessened the light intensity a little bit and extended the peak sunlight from 4 to 6 hours. Now they get 1300-1400 par for 6 hours a day. They are getting really good air flow, humidity, temperature. I've been replacing the water every 2 days now and topping off almost every day. Just switched the ph from 5.8 to 6.5. I think that's recommended for flowering. Currently they get 2200EC I use ro water. They get 250ec of cal/mag. 400ec of lotus boost and 1400-1600ec lotus Bloom

18cm vertical growth this week. She's not very tall.... Not sure what I've done wrong. 😐 Slowing down now we are entering flowering. She is VERY bushy!!!!!! Very short internode length. I've cut the big fan leaves off the main stem to allow light to penetrate her lower leaves!!! I never usually do this, but she is so bushy they had to go.
