Buds a swealling. The smell got very interesting the last few days. Resine production is insane . Trichomes are almost all milky 5% amber . Flash starts today. I'm planning to harvest in 10 days.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

The leaves continue to turn yellow from the bottom. It seems that I started fertilizing too quickly and the tips of the leaves burned a little

The flowers are starting to pack on weight this week. I'm not doing anything at all other that watering/feeding. I left the tape measure visible in the video for scale. Good? Helpful?

The plants are ready to be chopped and hung for 3-5 days. I removed all the fans leaves and left them all branches on the main stem. The ladies smell so strong I can wait to see how they turn out when they are dried and cured. 1) I plan to hang them for 3-5 days @ 71 f and 50-55 RH, 2) Do a final tight trim 3) Than I will move them to jars and cure for 2-3 weeks I will update the diary with harvest pictures & weight before I move them to the jars for curing. I think the seeds might have got mixed up when packing because these three plants were all supposed to be the same and you can clearly tell from the pictures that they are not.

Week 4 Last week was good gave the last defoliation for day 21. Adding a higher feed for her. Day 15 ready for the transplant tomorrow. Just watered each with 1/3 cup of water. It was the first watering since the initial one 15 days ago. My basement is very humid. All 4 are growing pretty strong. The 2 on the left and right are the Guavo Autos and the other 2 are Sticky Soul Photos. They will continue their life outside starting tomorrow. Day 16 and all 4 plants have been transplanted into their final 3 gallon pots. What I did was water each cup yesterday with 1/3 cup of water. Today I drilled some holes in the 3 gallon pots. I filled it with a small amount of build a soil light mix and the rest with happy frog. I poured 2 cups of water into the new soil. I made a hole. I added 2tbspns of Mykos to each pot. I slid the plants out of the cups into the hole. I watered those in with 3 cups of water each. A little ran off through the bottom. I’m going to keep them in the shade for a few days then toss them in the sun. Stay tuned! Day 20 and we are looking really good. Check the video above.

The new HVAC for soil is performing well, allowing me to incorporate flood/drought style to watering, without any worry of overwatering, Cannabis has a "sweet spot" where stress response to "drought" can be triggered before the negative effects of drought can impact growth dramatically, During night time plants process all the stored energy from photosynthesis as a by-product of cellular respiration and releases a lot of water vapor RH% into the air, don't water at night, water in the morning. This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

10/26: All but one are flowering now, and most are stretching. There are a few shorter ones, thankfully, so they'll get moved up to the top of the closet in another day or two and I'll have a little more room for the big girls to spread out a little bit. 10/27: I rearranged the garden a little bit today and checked whether they needed water or not. I foliar fed with Big Bloom and a little Tiger Bloom today. I'm seeing signs of potassium deficiency on several of them. 10/28: I watered everybody with about 1/4 gallon and included a little terpinator, cal-mag, bembe, and beastie bloomz. I uploaded a couple of photos showing some weird curling of the newest growth...just an odd varietal trait I think because I've seen it before on my Candy Cane F2's. 10/29: I rotated everybody on the edges and plucked some older, lower leaves. They are damn near totally dry, so flushing tomorrow. 10/30: I decided not to flush based partly on how shitty the weather is right now...and partly because I'm seeing some N deficiency signs in several plants and really can't afford to put off feeding them again until they dry after a 3-gallon flush. So, instead, I thoroughly watered everybody with about 3/4 gallon including cal-mag, myco/tricho, beneficial bacteria, humic acid, bembe, and terpinator. I let them sit in their catchment trays long enough to soak all the run-off back up, so they are fairly well saturated now with things that should make the roots really happy. I've added another oscillating fan and got the hygrostat set to kick on the exhaust whenever the humidity reaches 55%, so it's pretty much staying on right now. Hopefully they are dried back out by Friday so I can give them a last good dose of N to help with their stretch. I'll also start going heavy with P and K, and increase terpenoid and flavonoid enhancers. I'm gonna give Signal by True a try when I finish my current bottle of Terpinator. I just can't bring myself to keep paying over $60/gallon when I can get a gallon of Signal for under $40. While watering today, I emptied the closet completely and had plants all over the place...my cats were in heaven..stalking each other under the jungle canopy.😺 It really does amaze me that I'm fitting all these plants into such a small space..😳 10/31: I rotated the edge plants and checked their moisture level. I'll feed them tomorrow. 11/1: I took everybody out of the closet and did a little defoliating. I fed everybody with about a half-gallon including all the good stuff.

The weak plant is small and sick. The healthy plant is beautiful even I expected a little bigger plant. Leaves and flowers started to be purple.

Actualización 05/10/2024 ¡Hola, growers! Perdón por no poder compartir las semanas completas, pero poco a poco volvemos a la normalidad. Las fotos que ven corresponden al día 01/10/24 y, como pueden ver, están llenas de terpenos y tricomas por todas partes. Tanto la Fruit Gum como la Biscotti x Candy Rain son dos de las cepas más resinosas que he cultivado y, además, desprenden un olor increíblemente fuerte. La Fruit Gum tiene esos toques dulces y nostálgicos, como a chicle de mascar, que me transportan directamente a mi infancia. En cuanto a la Biscotti x Candy Rain, su aroma es como el de una clásica galleta americana casera, ¡muy intenso! Ambas cepas me están impresionando mucho por su resinosidad y aromas únicos. Cabe destacar que las genéticas de Uktha Genetics me han sorprendido gratamente; los resultados están siendo fantásticos. Eso sí, estas cepas comen como camiones, pero mientras se mantenga un control exhaustivo de las fertilizaciones y del medio de cultivo, no hay problema de sobrefertilización. Pronto cortaremos una de las plantas que está bastante adelantada. Espero que disfruten tanto como yo este proceso y, como siempre, ¡buenos humos para todos! 🌱💨
