Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Think after Its grown I'm going to send a sample to the dam to get tested. If it's nice that is. As it's a big gap and wondering where I can get her to. Am starting her on TERRA POWERS growth base nutrients and am following it's chart as guide to use and will decide on the ML/L depending on the PPM as I'm using the full 19 nutrients so the PPM will be way up there unless I break it down into equal ppm feeds when it gets bigger and give 2 1l mixes on later stage of growth and a flush in between. I'm going to try and push her to the max that stays withIn the boundaries of not stalling her with any tox, so light tip burn will be fine and is the norm when using heavy bloom boosters (SyntheticNutrients), the best growers in the world get tip burn it's just a by product of your plant taking up max nutrient and the tips are so gentle they get tip burn, but in saying that, some ppl don't like to push their plants, nice a less harsher taste. 100% natural/normal folks and actually looked for as if you aren't seeing this your plant actually has more feed it can take, meaning you aren't maxing out her 3-5wk stretch window in flowering, (personally in think, a slight push is better than a light pull back, when dealing with autos you HAVE TO MAX YOUR VEG TIME. I'll hopefully keep tip burn away until we get into flower and then tip burn is an after thought, and a welcome sign, for me it is. I've wrapped wet squeezed bath towel around my pots as it dries it raises RH, cups of water do not work with led lights. Will give pics and updates on growth and nutrient changes if any. But it'll just be straight love/care and gentle handling, (if any, some times I touch the tips with the corners of tissue if I splash nutrients on the top), other than that it shouldn't be touched unless it's bent and needs did an up. 3/5/22 Doing really well I decided to give the soil a once or feed of 2ml/L of biobizz calmag. It won't hurt in the least but will counter any possible calmag def and help overall with nutrient uptake. 6/5/22 So, it's begun. I've created a negative pressure environment, 1st time, let's see if it makes an impact. On wk 3 onwards I'll be running the intake extraction for 5mins every 30mins and I'll have 2 co2 bags up. If the RH becomes a problem or temp I'll put the extraction/intake back on 100% of the time. The extraction fan/intake is set at a ratio of 2 to 1. (100% extraction 50% intake) making a negative pressure environment, best way to show you have done this, the walls in your tent should bow in lightly. RH has climed to 77%. Entering in probably the last week of vegetation, the girl has grown well but with same yellow tips in the new growth. This week I gave 0.5 ml of bio grow per 3L of water and I've increased the fresh air supply on the bottom since the plant is getting the bloom phase. See you next week. Happy growing

They are blooming!! Nice white hairs are showing off the centre and they have start creating a “budd”, I don’t really know since im a newbie but the leave colours are perfect, no excess or anything else shown since im watering with the correct PH Both are truly beautiful, i think next time i will choose a single plant and treat it the beat i can, exposing her to anything i just learned here I thought aswell that i could afford some “top candy” or “top bloom” but I don’t really know if it will improve a lot or if its worth the money Better air flow during days due to new big fan working

As expected, the girl grows well, the flowers enlarge, the resin appears and the girl smells wonderful. I'm running it all the time, she still has plenty of time. 😉

It is a vigorous plant with very uniform branching, high resinous and high yield, if you grow from seed there are a few different phenos that I got, equally as good

This Blue Dream grow was my best looking one. Can't wait until it's dry to sample it. The P1 clone turned a peach color, and the P2 clone turned purple.

It's time to harvest the crops, today was the day of the first Green Crack F1 Hybrid Automatic by Zamnesia. ** Remember that for all strains we have at least two plants, one left to grow straight and one worked with the techniques. Technique Used // In this case we see the plant worked with the MAINLINING technique: we waited for the third internode and did TOPPING (you can also do it at the second to lengthen the vegetative phase in autoflowering plants, it's better); from this topping a MAINFOLDING was carried out by cleaning everything that was underneath in the underlying internodes and leaving only the two mini branches growing as a result of the first topping, the Mainfold precisely. We stole the two branches with the arches up to the third internode of each respective branch and we did TOPPING once again, from here the plant was left to grow directing it with LST as best we could. Better with the techniques or normal? It is a plant with a medium-low distance between internodes, this technique is not recommended, the plant is not very big but it has produced well anyway, let's wait to compare the results with the one without techniques but it is very big, the other one, in this case I tend towards the straight solution. Hello everyone A good week here but not that great weather. The plant spend 4 days inside my garden house with an open door for fresh air Outside so much rain that I just didn't want to take the risk. Also a higher humidity in morning so better safe than sorry She did receive enough light but it's not perfect, I know Some buds are a bit closer together and that's the only minor thing so far. Not problematic but I keep a close eye They are really bulking up now and starting to produce a bigger smell 😄 One feeding this week and one time neem oil watering. I think I'm gonna give one or two good feedings and then it's flushtime Last year i harvested in middle of August and I think it's gonna be pretty much the same this year. Will look more after the the trichomes this year. So far so good Fingers crossed for the last 3 weeks (I think 😁) Happy growing 🙏 Update : made a shelter, not perfect yet but it does the job 😄
