Hey everyone 👋 Back again for a week 2 update. Still not much to report really. The clones all seem to be rooting nicely. A few are yellowing on the leaves. But that's to be expected with very little nutes given to them. (very very small amount to avoid stress or nute burn) Other than the few yellow leaves they are all still very perky looking so that's a definite positive. All in all things are looking on track 👌🏻 If any pros ever see me doing dumb shit with my grow feel free to point it out and give any advice. Any feedback is great. Always room to learn right!? Oh, and the music over the vid is me. I was bored last week and recorded for the first time in yrs. Figured my vids could use some original music over them 😂. The Apes are flowering, and the difference between the plants is enormous. The one in the middle is the only one that truly took off, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up producing as much as the rest of them combined. Putting them directly into the ground probably wasn’t the mistake. The real problem was that I only planted them with the six litres of soil from their original pots. I should have brought plenty of additional soil to give the roots a much better environment to expand into. I’ve since added guano as a top dressing and continue watering with plenty of molasses, but at this stage, the smaller plants are not going to catch up.

4/1/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Veg (Day 59 overall) Water Change Day!!! Water was really low it was just above the hump in the Res cutting it close to not having enough water in the system to keep it going. They drank a lot making it close going the full 14 days. I am still going with the previous grows and adding 36 Gallons but even looking at the root I think the SILICA is working and the roots are further along at this point than in previous grows. This next two weeks will watch how much they drink and how low my Res starts getting, and will make a decision on changing the water weekly from here on out or still keep on the plan of every other week until Week 4 of Flower. I will be taking two clones from each to breed over the next few weeks depending on when I am going to flip them. 4/3/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Veg (Day 61 overall) A little FIMing, A little Topping, and a Little bit of defoliation. Might have to take my clones during the week this week, I am trying to wait until Saturday to hit week 8 but again they are getting all over the place and I need to trim some of the sides and lower areas. 4/4/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Veg (Day 62 overall) I decided to take my clones and clean up the lower half of the plants. I took 2 clones from each plant to go into the cloning machine. 4/5/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Veg (Day 63 overall) Water Temp is sitting at 73. Right in my ideal range for my setup. Ideal range 70-74 My Temp Tent is my ideal zone75.6 Ideal for this grow 70-78 The lights are still waiting the switch to flower to get maxed out... The Humidity is coming in right at 60% I love it.. I took so much off yesterday I figure it was a good day to let them rest. 4/6/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Veg (Day 64 overall) I needed to Defoliate some and I topped a little. The plants might force me to flip them soon. Next Wed is the 10 week mark half way through the 20 weeks. The net is Bingo... Which means that If/when the plants hit the net I will have to flip them. The Net is set to the max height that I can let them get based on the Breeders Stretch report 75%. 4/7/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Veg (Day 65 overall) #3 is 22 inches Tall, #2 is 19 Inches Tall. Net is set at 24 inches. Net is also set as my Bingo point, if they hit the net then I have to flip no matter what to account for the Breeders recommended 75% Stretch allowance. I think I am going to have to flip right at the 10 week mark of the Competition which is Wed 12 Apr. I topped a little, I de-foliated a lot to start getting it ready for the anticipated Flip.

This week I had to harvest the main cola of one plant (the trichomes were all white with some amber). Actually the plant didn’t appear ready at all, because the strain continued to produce white pistils. Results are 93 grams (before drying)

Just been feeding her water once a week..she continues to swell I will give her some molasses one for the road and just water until week 8.

Day 35 is here. We are a week into flower and most the plants are just starting to hit that flowering stretch. I have been bending them down a little every couple days, but I need to focus on cleaning up some of the bottom branches so we can keep good air flow through the plants. Will work on that through this next week. I haven't done a water change, just been topping off the reservoir with fresh nutrients as they drink it up. Feeding half and half maxigro and maxibloom. Will cut out the maxigro in a couple weeks when I notice their stretch slowing down. I had a plant overflow this week because the drain line is getting full of roots. I noticed a couple roots have made their way into the reservoir already. I set a pump timer to 1 minute on and 20 minutes off so they can drain properly. I would like to make it through the grow without having to mess with the drains, but we will see what happens. I will make some modifications if needed. Other than that everything is running smooth and I hope we have some little pistils to show by next week. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

This strain was perfect for my first grow was resistant asf even in the 38 degree heat these plants showed little stress. I’ve learned a lot during this grow and decide to go with this strain again for my next, The smell of my harvest isn’t that strong bud the high is. Smell is really nice and the taste 🤤 gave some to a friend who say “ it fruitier than Alan carr” but yeah have nothing bad to say about bpp and will be one of my go toos for now on

23.2.25: I watered with approximately 1.5 ltrs per plant. I mix 6.5ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. This time, I only added Ecothrive Biosys to the water because I have just top dressed the soil. Adding anything extra right now would probably be overkill and result in toxicity from too many available nutrients. I defoliated minimally mostly Do-sì-dos, Watermelon, and Pink Mist. Due to the scrog net, it's about all I can reach 😅 I've moved the plants to increase space for Gorilla Cookies 🍪 and Bubble

I had a lot of fun with this strain and it was grown against 400 growers so let me say PHENO hunting is a true thing. Overall the Bud was a nice dense structure and the smoke on it was smooth and the high nice and even.

8/31 Week 7 and the damned tent is full .... such problems err? 25 sq ft of green, did not expect this really was hoping the extra space would allow more plants but this is full on 5 Plants doing well just trying to make em all fit Nuets remain as is Defoliation to try and get they to fit in the tent a bit easier, removed fan leaves. 9/1 Upped PK to 2ml/g the cotton balls have begun 9/2 In full stretch now hit 25" 9/4 Major defoliation cleaned bottoms middle tops get the buds in light and help them fit in the tent better.
