Start of week 3. Weather conditions got better, less clouds and more sun seem to be good for the plants. 06/13/2020 -day 15- duck #1 still seems to have some problem. She grows but has a lighter greenish-yellowish color compared with her sister. Also the leafs have strange curls. I got a hint to remove the bio tabs and only give water. Maybe that will do the trick 06/16/2020 -day 18- finally a visible progress in growth. Duck #1 got back to a more natural green (thanks to a hint from Fusion 👍). Because of heavy rain, I got enough water for the two ladies 06/19/2020 -day 21- end of week 3, the ladies grew very good and got nice new leafs. So far, it really looks very decent an not like cannabis at all. Although they seem to be small in comparison with other diaries. This weeks weather was often cloudy with a lack of sun. Temperatures were between 25 C at day and 18 C at night. All in all I am happy that they seem to be healthy and growing. Looking forward to the progress in week 4. Keep in Touch ! Cheers HighZenBerg

Start of week 5 for White Widow Shes still getting bushier & bushier! Its really making me debate whether to defoliate some more...but greenhouse told me not to? 😂 Ive sent them an update video so lets see if they change their mind. Still feeding her every day from the bottom.

Heeey all! Sorry for the huge amount of photos but this week was crazy. So many things happened and my lack of knowledge clearly showed up. I ended stressing one of my plants for no reason! 😱 At the start of the week everything was normal until I noticed that one of Roko's buds looked weird. It seemed to be too dry and orange for my tastes and I didn't know what it was. Obviously I started to ask around and I got so many mixed messages haha. Some people said it was nothing and I should not worry about it and others said they were 100% sure it was botrytis or budrot... aaaaaaaand I got paranoid lol. 😵😨 At first I tried to keep calm and ignore it for one day but the next one the bud looked even worse and that's when I feared the worst. What if it's really budrot? In general the values I write in here are approximates or an average of the week.. and usually my tent never goes over 60% of RH (in the dark it stays between 50% to 60% when I water them and on some rare occasions it reaches 65%). This time, after I checked the thermometer it said "75% of RH" but I did not know if it was during their sleep time or maybe some time after the lights went on) so once again I feared the worst! What if the plants stayed all the night with that amount of RH? Was that enough time for them to develop budrot? What if it's still nothing? Yikes. 😭 I had to do something and I did, I wasn't going to risk everything! I started removing the worst looking leaf to see if there was anything mushy or ugly between it and the pistils but I didn't see anything (maybe I was safe and that was something else? Or maybe the budrot was even deeper and I could not see it?) After reading I realized that the best idea was to cut the bud in half and then slice it to "see" if there was anything inside... so I did it and absolutely nothing showed up 😖! Those were good news! Sadly tho the poor plant had to go thru some stress after cutting that bud in half (at least from what I saw the insides were tightly packed and the photos showed some really cool stuff) The rest of the week was uneventful (compared to what I feared haha) and some leaves started to change even more in color (I love it). I think I'll start with the flush next week or the one after that one. There are some amber trichomes...! Thanks all for checking my diary! Hopefully you'll all find the pictures interesting! PD: None of the plants have seeds in them, even when one of the sliced buds seemed to be making them!

End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

End of week 6, all smooth sailing and it’s just starting to gain the purple colour of the mum the cut was taken from.

We started the week by transplanting the Orange Groovy F1 into the 3.6L pots filled with our SWA super-soil: we waited a bit more compared to the first 8 transplants just to make sure the roots were strong enough. At the same time we realized that the Orange Groovy F2 was the first plant ready for topping. This week we continued using our Lumatek dimming it at 60%. We are watering them with 1L divided by all 9 of them of osmosis water. On days 16 and 17 we topped every plant (except for Golden Pussies which still need a couple days and the Orange groovy F1 which we will not top because of her smaller size). We noticed that most of our plants presented lightly yellowed tips. We think that this is due to the deficiency of some immobile elements such as Ca, Fe, S. To solve this problem, we will put some decanted water (because it doesn't contain Chlorine which kills our bacterial substrate life) to give them the correct nutrients. We failed topping Orange Groovy F2 because the central apical started to grow even after cutting it but we kept it just to see what is going to happen. Golden Pussy F2 has been topped too and it went perfectly as you can see in the pictures. The plants continue to grow out of all proportion!

day 22: the plants are beautiful, they are all starting to produce trichromes.. no sign of deficiencies! I did one of the last defoliations. the smells are starting to appear for some, the ones that struck me are: - code red #1 and #2: strawberry and cream terps.. a bit like strawberry milk! it's crazy - B45: citrus and bug terps.. on a background of exotic fruit and gas! it's incredible - LA vanilla cake: vanilla ice cream terps - Cherry gar see ya #4 clone: a puree of exotic fruits, especially mango and pineapple.. I'm a fan my two papayas have herm, I found some bananas.. I really don't understand, they are in the perfect ecosystem!! Day 49: Week 7 behind 8s mow and onto the final stretch now. These ladies have been great performers for me in the grow I wish I had more of them to do !!!... Fft#9 is bursting with fresh pistils again now and should swell like a trooper this week. Rhe bids are rock solid under the new pistils and her smellnis so sweet like picked fruit now.Their size is more than I expected but had hoped they would attain before the final swell and ripening. She has a good few hidden gems tucked away below decks too which will be fun to find on harvest and trim. Her biggest main is doing excellent and a great guide for her siblings to grow too hopefully. FFT#10 Is looking mean and nasty in a good way. Her darkness warns of impending loss of clarity and vision if messed with in my opinion !!!. lol She looks so different to the other ladies and her bud structure is below the main tops is a little less compacted. She is covered in trichs and her can sweetness is blatent at the slightest touch. She wanted to grow her way throughout the grow and even when tied and bent , she found a way to upset the symmetrical desire I had in mind Cant beat an independent lady who knows best !. She is so tacky when handled too. I thought she was so close to finish but she is still putting a few new pistils out over her mains so she may go another 2 weeks too. I am determined to hit the sweet spots with these two ladies and am also applying a little drought stress for the next 7 days This is to test the theory out a little and see if we can get them as pitent as possible too. fingers crossed Growmies. be safe and well. thanks for stopping by.
