Woche 12

Day 92: Going to try a week without nutrients. The slurry test was good. I am either over or underwatering. Cannot seem to get it correct this time. However, after last night's watering, she is a lot less droopy. Day 93: no pictures. Added one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons Herculean Harvest. Day 94: nothing to report other than she is drinking rapidly and looking healthier. Day 95: added one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons Herculean Harvest. Almost no runoff. Day 96: added one gallon of pH6.5 water with nutrients Day 97: nothing to report. Trimmed some leaves that never survived the yellowing. Day 98: nothing to report. Decided to let her dry another day.

Ive got two Skunk Apple Runz plants(tossed 1 when I repotted the plants) with exotic-looking leaves and some great genetics. These are seeds I made and both the parents were top notch. They're both about five inches tall and growing strong they both seem to have the growth strength from the ricky bobby Unfortunately, one of them might not make it because of some damage or mutation im not sure, it just seems to have stop growing upward correctly but the other one's looking really healthy. Happy late turkey day grow diaries world!!!! It's now day 24 from seed for all the seedlings I have going. The past few days the plants have really started to take off. There roots have really started to dig in. Every other water I am still giving 2ml per gal of fox farm grow big. I keep having to tell myself not to add any more nutes other than that. I don't want to fry my plants but I also want they to start jumping. I'm quite excited for the coming week, I think the next 7 days or so is when the plant really starts to transform and look more like a pot plant than just some random little green thing. A few days ago I decided to move the plants from under my 55w cheep amazon light to under my spider farmer 100w newer version light with the good leds in it. The plants will hopefully be ready to up pot them here soon and get them in the large tent. Sometimes when growing multiple different strains it can be really hard to balance giving to much or to little light. You don't want the faster growing plants to get to stretched out waiting on the slower plants to catch up I spend Thanksgiving day morning transplanting the plants into 2gal pots. I am useing spme promix potting soil it's my 1st time tring this soil. It is actually doing really well the roots were all white and nice looking. I think next time I'm going to add some worm casting, kelp, granular mycos, and a little bit extra perlite. I just didn't have the money with christmas coming to splurge for all the extra stuff. I got rid of 2 plants 1 of the bubble og and 1 skunk apple runtz. There is only room for 10 pots in the 2x4 tent. I will peob only bring 8 of them to flower, always good to have back ups. Yesterday I also stuck the plants back under the 500w medicgrow mini sun 2 in my 2x4 tent. They did great under it the 2nd half the day I was happy they didn't get stressed. I had put them under that light a little early about 10 days ago or so. I am expecting in a week these plants will ge going crazy with growth

Week 4 for these girls. They've doubled in some since last week. I took a couple of the bigger fan leafs off this week, also raised my lights up allowing some stretch. Starting to see some preflowers and pistols. So next week will be off to the flower stage. Happy Growing.

Mar 15: Looking good, keeping rh down has proven difficult with 3 in a 2x3x4ft box, blasting intake and exhaust with 2 fans inside. Otherwise good, did a 1/4 feed to use up stores and salts. Mar 16: Looking good, dialed back in RH, Temp lowered a couple degrees, no oscillating fan so I adjust the position every day. Want to start using MonsterBloom for some fat buds but don't wanna start too early. Also need info if incorporating run-off feeds is necessary if i do occasional 1/4 dose feeds. Slowly dialing back grow nutrients, and upping bloom. New light has made 100X difference. Mar 18th: Will be increasing of volume per feed over the next week to 1 - 1.2L per plant, or until I get 10% run-off. keeping concentration of feed around 800ppm, No signs of deficiencies or toxicities yet, though colour of leaves may be a tad dark, no signs of slowed growth. Increased PPFD to 750 - 940 at the top of the canopy. Mar 21: Going to start counting days not weeks, its been 36 days since they popped, so just over 5 weeks now, I was a bit ahead. Explosive growth, still playing the "increase volume of feed until I get 10-15% runoff" game, at 1L now, will up to 1.25L for todays feed. decreasing FloraGro by .5ml/gal every feed till I get to 1 - 1.5mL/gal. increasing FloraBloom by .5mL/gal every feed till I get to 7 - 7.5mL/gal, or until I see P or K toxicity, whatever comes first. That being said if I get runoff today and its 300 ppm over input, i will flush with a mild feed until I get proper output/input ppm ratio. Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

week 2 veg official lol we have arrived here safely and the babies are looking real good. No topping or any kind of defoliation will take place, we will only be taking off lower branches and leaves as the plants grow skywards trying to keep branching as close to the stem as possible. It's getting exciting lol

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Guava Slushy here in the start of week 5 of Bloom! I've got some supplemental lighting going on to see if it'll help some of the lower areas not receiving as much light!! Let's see we are running advanced nutrients connoisseur bloom a & b. So I found out they make a connoisseur bloom A & B that's safe for coco coir! So i got some other way! Ive been giving her water inbetween nutrients to avoid salt build up in roots! Finally able to use the trellis net, this plant loves it and wants to grow wild with it lol!! We are hunkering down in week 5 of bloom!! This ladies is happy let's go GUAVA! Thank you for all the support

So far there has been a learning curve.. I am learning both bloom and veg light should be on and I DEFINITELY learned about "stretching". I added more potting soil and straightened them gently so that they can be supported. I will monitor the girls through the week to see what effects changing the light to both bloom and veg have. Fingers crossed! Will update later in the week. Update 10.24.21 Corrected the stretching/bending issue and the girls seem to be growing pretty quickly now 😎😁
