Feb 22 / Day 74: Heavy defoliation of many fan and larger sugar leaves

We started the week by transplanting the Orange Groovy F1 into the 3.6L pots filled with our SWA super-soil: we waited a bit more compared to the first 8 transplants just to make sure the roots were strong enough. At the same time we realized that the Orange Groovy F2 was the first plant ready for topping. This week we continued using our Lumatek dimming it at 60%. We are watering them with 1L divided by all 9 of them of osmosis water. On days 16 and 17 we topped every plant (except for Golden Pussies which still need a couple days and the Orange groovy F1 which we will not top because of her smaller size). We noticed that most of our plants presented lightly yellowed tips. We think that this is due to the deficiency of some immobile elements such as Ca, Fe, S. To solve this problem, we will put some decanted water (because it doesn't contain Chlorine which kills our bacterial substrate life) to give them the correct nutrients. We failed topping Orange Groovy F2 because the central apical started to grow even after cutting it but we kept it just to see what is going to happen. Golden Pussy F2 has been topped too and it went perfectly as you can see in the pictures. The plants continue to grow out of all proportion!

So last week I accidentally posted pictures of the other phenotype of gorilla cookies in this diary. She's doing great though. By far the biggest plant in my tent currently. Feeding with med man brand nutes, kind bud base at 600 ppm and half a g of bloom per l of water

2/20 Day 38: Well guys shes definitely growing like a bush really rounded and growing really slow but good. Her color is awesome and she is already smelling a bit 😍. I truly love Gelato so I'm stoked to try this lady out and am excited to see how she looks. 🔥 Thinking I'm gonna veg her for another 4 weeks then flip her but will be playing by 👂. Right until the end they finally beefed up right into the late blooming stage . Ill flush starting next week . This Friday will be the second flush with Flawless Finish Advanced Nutrients recieved by the Critical Punch by Dutch Passion as she is not taking much water after the first week flush . Both Fast Buds strains I have going in my tent are in the last week of Overdrive by Advanced Nutrients being the 2nd week now👇 Orange Sherbet & Purple Lemonade . Branches are bending & breaking😁

All looks good 8 weeks in. The flower is getting dense. I think they have about 2 more weeks to go. I'll keep feeding and flushing. Looking forward to seeing the yield with this 200.

Nothing too special at this point, just watering and the occasional big bloom. I think Im about ready to harvest and move to the next grow. The leaves are a bit thin.
