First of all, I’d like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Fast Buds for allowing me the opportunity to grow their new strains! I'm starting out with CC this week and will start the CA in a couple of weeks. There is some data out there on the CC strain that seems very legit to me. If that info is correct one of the C's stands for Cookies. I really love the Girl Scout Cookies I grew from Fast Buds, if CC is related to GSC she should be amazing! 👍 Dropped the seed in the soil today, I'll update once she pops. She's front-center in the group pics. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since Fast Buds has been kind enough to allow me to preview their new CC and CA strains I am now going to be starting a new seed every 2 weeks. This should allow me to get all of the plants I want to grow this season in the perpetual harvest rotation. I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around 3 week I'll do a FIM cut/pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope LST only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Setup: 1- Grow Tent 24”x48”x72” 2- Viparspectra 300W LED’s (1-V300 & 1-R300) 1- Hanging 100w CFL (26w actual) 1- Carbon Filter w/ 190cfm Fan & 4” ducts 1- 6” clip-on fan 1- 700w electric heater - oil filled radiator (in front of air intake behind tent)

She popped through the soil in 5 days and is doing great so far. Stretched a little more than I prefer, but it may help with the LST bending I have planned. Just getting water so far.

Week 3 of Fast Buds CC from seed, a little over 2 weeks from seedling. Growing nicely. No smell obviously. But the baby leaves are getting huge and fat (seems to be common with Fast Buds strains). She's starting to put out nodes. I started some LST. Gonna have fun with this one! Thanks again @FastBuds !! 👍

Fast Buds CC growing nicely, just starting her stretch. I accidentally snapped the stalk about half way through doing some LST bending. Oops! I guess that's HST now 😮 Oh well, I taped her up and she's doing fine 👍

Cream Cookies looking great! Bud sites everywhere. The leaves are a little more yellowish than I prefer. Going to try backing down on the nutes and give her Recharge only for the next week or two to see if that helps green things up at all.

Fast Buds Cream Cookies growing strong, nice bud site development! The leaves are more yellowish than I would prefer. I was not checking PH previously and started checking the PH this week. My well water comes out of the tap around 7.3-7.4, which is a bit higher than most recommend. This week I PH'ed down to 6.3 and fed her Recharge only. Hope to see some more green coming back over the next few days.

Fast Buds Cream Cookies is still looking more yellowish than I prefer, but the buds are developing nicely, and she smells great! Gave her an overdose of Recharge to see if that helps bring some green color back to the leaves. So far, I haven't noticed any change in the leaves, maybe this week.

Fast Buds CC still has more yellowing in the leaves than I like. I've been ph'ing my water down to 6.0 and giving her extra Recharge (1 tbs/gallon). The bud sites are looking good. I think I'm 2-3 weeks from harvest here. Looking forward to having a taste of Cream Cookies. If she's anything like Girl Scout Cookies, its going to be a hit! 👍

Cream Cookies is getting close to harvest. I did feed her again this week with Recharge only. Next weekend I plan on starting to flush. One of the lower side branches broke accidentally when I was moving things around in the tent. There were only a couple of small buds on the branch, but I dried it out to give her a taste. I can definitely taste the cream overtones, which is very nice. And I got a nice buzz off of it too. Really looking forward to the properly harvested and cured results! 👍

CC got cut down this weekend. She's smelling strong and the buds look nice and juicy. I did not have time to trim her up when cutting her down, so she's hanging with leaves in tact. I'm going to try a dry trim this time and see how that goes. Hopefully she will be dried out enough to give her a try on my b-day this Friday. 👍

Nice strain! I can definitely taste the cream in this one and overall she smells and tastes great! She seemed to struggle a little bit with yellowing leaves from very early on. I think this also stunted her growth But she powered through to harvest and gave me an ounce of nice buds to enjoy. I tried a day trim this time. I'm not sure I trimmed enough of the dry leaves off, the buds look a little leafy, but I'm very happy over all. Wil grow this strain again for sure! 😃

The overall results were very good with Cream Cookies (CC). The yellowing leaves from early on were always a concern of mine with this grow. I think the cause was due to me reusing soil from previous grows without amending it with any fresh soil and also not checking ph. I've started checking and correcting ph now (it was slightly too high) and I'll make sure to always amend soil when reusing it in the future. Lesson learned. I think the fact that this girl powered through to harvest regardless of my mistakes is a testament to Fast Buds and the quality of their strains! 👍

Looking great Dude. My advice on dry trimming... don’t... reason I say that is it’s a lot harder to cure the smell of chlorophyl breaking down out of the buds when they are dried with the leaves on. Of course this is debatable. I’ve done it many ways. With fans on/off, dehumidifiers on/off. I know you’ve dried many plants but il leave the method I use for drying/curing just for you or others to see. Feel free to comment on your methods (a harvest log is available on my fast&vast grow, where you can see the pics of cured bud.) Best taste smoke I’ve ever gotten is from a mix of 3 things. Screen dried wet trimmed bud > brown paper bags > Jars I like it because it’s easy to follow a basic breakdown is 3 days on screen or hanging > 3 days in brown bags > 3 days Jars > ready to smoke... 1.) Start by trimming buds, place on screen or hang individually with dehumidifier and fan on IMPORTANT - DO NOT point fan at buds. As long as your drying space is indoors in a temperate climate it should sit roughly between 18-22c 65-80F is best. And below 60%RH if it’s higher leave dehumidifier on, once it is below 60%RH turn off leave ocsiclating fan on. 2.) wait till buds feel crispy on outside should take 3 days (in the conditions mentioned above) 3.) Remove larger peices of stems that have no purpose (don’t have buds attached) place all buds in brown bags and fold top over. Place the bags on your drying screen or hang the bags like you did your buds. (Better not to put them on the floor) 4.) after 12 hours or less they should feel spongey you can leave the bag open or return the buds to screen for a few hours, that’s your call. 5.) after 3 days of curing in the bags. It’s time to put them in Jars. However you are noshould in the long storage process of curing. Just the monitoring stage. You want to wick the moisture out by closing the Jar for few hours then opening for a few hours. So on so forth for 3 days. I do 6 hours if I can. I use the weekend. Open 6 hours closed 6 hours. 6.) once you have followed this process you should be at 9 days by this point the RH in the Jar should be below 70% which means as long as you’re opening the Jar for at least 10 mins every day 1-2 times you run no risk of Mold AT ALL. I’m not a professional but I care deeply that I get the best possible tast/smell/effect from my meds. Hope this helps anyone interested in a simple method on how to acheive this. Once again beautiful grow DUDE!!✌️🏻

@PharmaZ, That’s awesome advice! Thank you very much!!! Going to try these steps with my next harvest. Dry trim was kind of a necessity this time. I was unable to spend the time to trim when i cut her down. Came out ok. I’ll post a harvest update soon.
