She’s finally down 😸 I finished harvesting the lower buds this morning. Most of the buds appeared to have matured. Filled another one and a half hangers, I can’t get over how much this plant has produced. All the buds feel solid to the touch and the trichome coverage is phenomenal. She’s got a really sweet gassy aroma, with a funky backend. I’ve done a final trim on all the top/mid buds, they’re just having a few more days to finish up. Sorry for the lack of pictures, I 100% plan on doing a final smoke report update with an overall yield and plenty of pictures. Made a small test batch of rosin from the final trim, came out fantastic, it’s retained all the smell, it’s ridiculously strong and smokes extremely smooth 😻. I’ve finally got round to trimming the last of the Slurricane and I was amazed with how well she yielded. I got 9 ounces of solid buds that are covered in a ridiculous amount of trichomes! I don’t have any way of testing her but she looks like a 30%+ THC content, absolutely phenomenal buds. I also got 2 ounces of smaller leafier buds that were round the bottom of the plant and a stupid amount of premium quality trim. All this has been frozen to make into Rosin at a later date. The Buds themselves have a unique smell and taste, it’s gassy, but has a strange sweet taste that lingers In the mouth. I’ve never really had anything like it before. She packs an absolute punch! Immediate flushing to the face whether it be Rosin or Flower, I’d say she leans more to the indica side of things, but that could just be me 🤷‍♂️ All the top buds have had a weeks cure and are smoking unbelievably smooth even at this stage 😸 I’m storing some of it in a jar and I’ve posted a pic of the bottom of it, it’s almost completely white from the loose trichomes that have shaken off 😻. The Rosin I’ve made so far has been fantastic and I’ve only used trim, I’ve yet to press any flower, but I reckon she should give some decent returns! Overall she’s ticked a lot of the boxes for things I look for in a decent keeper plant. I’ve got a mother clone vegging so I’ll be running groups in the future. Great plant, great smoke 😻🌱💚

Slowly recovering. Still most painful grow so far, the dying leaves irk me so much. But nonetheless steady growth on the buds and hopefully stays like this

Been feeding each plant with 2 litres once soil has dried out which is roughly 2 feeds a week. The yellowing and brown spots looks like its slowly getting worse even though enough nutes are being used. I have read online this is quite normal to see nitrogen deficiency close to harvest. I know I’m getting close and have been checking the trichomes every day and they seem to still be very clear and none turning orange.

Second run with these genetics, I ran her last time in a 5.4 gallon container, I got the grape pheno, higher yield with the first run, but much tighter nugs with this run. This one smells much more earthy/gassey and less grapey. I ended up with just under 26 zips of nugs, 2 zips of Larf which I will turn into canna sugar, and my buddy made a 35 gram brick of bubble from the trim. It should be dry in the next few days and I'll post a video of the squeeze, hoping to get around a zip of rosin which I will split with him since he turned the bubble...Super excited to squeeze some nugs once the cure is done, Ill post vids of them as wel. Next run I'm planning to try and cram 2 plants inside a 5X5, build mainlines, and flip by week 6 or 7....Switching to two 315 W CMH bulbs up top, and LED's on 2 of the sidewalls for supplemental lighting. Week 13 – Day 90 / FLO 61 🌞 Temp: 24°C 💦 RH: 44% 💥 PPFD: 700 µmol 🌬️ VPD: 1.6 ⚡ EC: 0.2 💦 H2O: 700ml/24h Berry Crusher harvested at 61 days. Tall plant, good yield. Nice, subdued scent of RS11. Sweet, berry-like with a touch of forest notes ?🌲

I started germination of 4 Gelat.Og beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Gelat.Og. I've grown this one out several times and I'm just absolutely in love with these genetics. One of the best terp pallets I've came across. Extremely creamy and rich aroma with a kush kick... majestic! She packs amazing bud structure and is a real branchy hauler. She packs a pretty large stretch, about 200% on average. Plus she has a bit longer of a flower time for a indica dominant... in my experience about 11 weeks. She gets a strong demand for more phosphorus mid flower. A good spike with the pk booster and shes happy as Larry! Another Seedsman masterpiece right her! Amped to dive In to this grow.

Another week is complete, and there wasn’t too much happening this time around, but the plants are continuing to develop nicely. I did another round of defoliation and some additional lollipopping, taking my time to remove everything as cleanly as possible and keep the plants focused on the main flowering sites. The nutrient schedule was also adjusted to better support the plants as they move further into the bud development stage. What really stands out this week is the amount of trichome production. The flowers are getting noticeably frostier, and even some of the larger fan leaves are starting to develop a surprising amount of trichomes. That’s something I’m not used to seeing this strongly from my autoflowers, so it’s definitely interesting to watch. Overall, everything is progressing well, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how much more frost these plants can put on over the next few weeks.

Still in trim Jail so not sure what final weight will be . It really varies because I had too many and it was crowded. The final product is super AAA though. I will post some pictures later of some trimmed stuff. Pulled off 1.3 grams/watt I suppose that is ok.

Week 10 Flower After 4 whole weeks of flush this girl has finally met the scissors ✂️ It took her quite some time to fade out, but after cutting down the most faded half of the plant that was closest to the light on Day 65, and then the rest on Day 70 it was long enough. I'm very impressed with how fat and chunky this girl has become. I wasn't expecting quite this size from first look at her thinner stems and branchy structure earlier in flower, but her buds have swelled up nonetheless and she's stacked well. I always cut my girls down around half an hour (or a bit more) before the lights are due to turn on. This prevents her from starting any chlorophyll production in order to maintain the best flavour and burn. Only a few fans were taken off before being left to hang dry as she's absolutely covered in trichomes! Don't throw away your sugar trim (leaves with trichomes) as this can later be used for dry sift, which can then be pressed for some dank rosin. Harvest update coming soon! After 12 weeks of flower this grow is FINALLY over It was a relatively easy grow as far as maintenance and feeding are concerned. Midway through the flowering cycle the smell became very loud and the buds were sticky and frosty. I would definitely grow this again especially since I have around 50 more seeds lol. I didn't add the wet weight of the plants because I never weight wet because it doesn't matter but I will post the dry weight for all of you when they're done drying.
