Havested about 90 days after seed posed. She is a kind of giant: about 1.8 Kg of buds and branches from only one plant. The buds seems a little bit dry. I hope this will be not a problem after cure.

Some of the leaves have been starting to yellow indicating that the plants are now needing a little more feed and are getting towards the end of their life cycle! The smell of the gelato x gmo is overwhelming when I first approach the plants, and the blueberry x mother of Berry is a more subtle sweet/fruity smell.

Day 59 of flower, last day of light. Gonna give 48hrs of bro science darkness then chop. The smell from this tent is dam near unfathomable. Extreme and complex fruits. Punchberry cookies legit smells like Hawaiian Punch, and the lemon berry candy og smells like sour lemon skittles. Go figure

Week 11 - The buds are stretching and getting bigger. She is huge did not expect that and I was not prepare which can cost me in yield/quality but will see.

This Permanent Marker is a smaller plant, only about 4 inches tall. But what it lacks in size, it makes up for in those super distinct wide leaves that make it a standout. While it's a steady grower, it does have a big appetite, always seeming to need more nutrients. The other Permanent Marker plant is also around 4 inches, but it's growing much faster than the other one. Its super skinny, pointy leaves are what really make it stand out from the rest. At 1st I thought this plant was going to be a dud but is starting to out pace the other plant. Happy late turkey day grow diaries world!!!! It's now day 24 from seed for all the seedlings I have going. The past few days the plants have really started to take off. There roots have really started to dig in. Every other water I am still giving 2ml per gal of fox farm grow big. I keep having to tell myself not to add any more nutes other than that. I don't want to fry my plants but I also want they to start jumping. I'm quite excited for the coming week, I think the next 7 days or so is when the plant really starts to transform and look more like a pot plant than just some random little green thing. A few days ago I decided to move the plants from under my 55w cheep amazon light to under my spider farmer 100w newer version light with the good leds in it. The plants will hopefully be ready to up pot them here soon and get them in the large tent. Sometimes when growing multiple different strains it can be really hard to balance giving to much or to little light. You don't want the faster growing plants to get to stretched out waiting on the slower plants to catch up I spend Thanksgiving day morning transplanting the plants into 2gal pots. I am useing spme promix potting soil it's my 1st time tring this soil. It is actually doing really well the roots were all white and nice looking. I think next time I'm going to add some worm casting, kelp, granular mycos, and a little bit extra perlite. I just didn't have the money with christmas coming to splurge for all the extra stuff. I got rid of 2 plants 1 of the bubble og and 1 skunk apple runtz. There is only room for 10 pots in the 2x4 tent. I will peob only bring 8 of them to flower, always good to have back ups. Yesterday I also stuck the plants back under the 500w medicgrow mini sun 2 in my 2x4 tent. They did great under it the 2nd half the day I was happy they didn't get stressed. I had put them under that light a little early about 10 days ago or so. I am expecting in a week these plants will ge going crazy with growth

On day 10, I transferred the buds to the HerbDryer since I needed to free up space in the drying cabinet for two other plants. When I made the switch, I did a light trim, and I finished the final trim when I placed them in jars for curing. As for the smell, it’s definitely strong and noticeable. You can clearly pick up berry and herbal aromas. After curing, the smoke quality and smell will improved . In terms of yield, it was a bit below expectations—only 36g dry. The top buds have good density, but the lower buds are quite airy and loose. That being said, I wasn’t expecting a big yield anyway, especially since it only had 12 hours of light during flowering. When you open the bag, the aroma spreads quickly, and it's easy to tell that you've been handling it. Overall, I’m satisfied for now… Now it’s just a matter of waiting for a better cure to enjoy it at its fullest! 🔥🌿

Day 17 Both girls have been progressing nicely. Nice growth. Removed a male tentmate today. Pots are roughly half weight, may need water tomorrow or the day after. Day 18 Gave then both a neem oil top drench. Switched light schedule to take advantage of cooler night temps and lower electric use cost. Just gotta make sure I can prevent light leaks. (12p to 6p) Day 19 Gave both girls a light top fill of CocoLoco to reduce stretch. Great growth this past week.

I originally started this diary only for my own reference but I'm so pleased to have learned that others have found it helpful or interesting, for whatever reason. So, without further ado: Jan 19 Day 105 Harvest day! 🎉🎉 Not really knowing how to tackle the situation, I started by cutting all of the fan leaves I was able to reach. Then, I cut each branch working from the perimeter inward - which due to the way she grew, was essentially the same as working from the bottom branches of the meristem to the top. Each branch was cut, cleaned, and handled individually before moving on to the next. Decided to wet-trim most of the branches, leaving 4 fairly untouched (only fan leaves were removed). Will be interested to see the differences, if any. They're all drying/hanging near the grow tent ~45%RH, 72F (22C). It isn't completely dark though, as some light is escaping the tent into the closet where they are hanging. I'm hoping this isn't terrible but I'll be keeping my eye on them. The process took the better part of an evening but I was cautiously learning, taking breaks, and generally being fairly slow. I'm sure I'll be faster and more confident next time. Jan 27 Day 113 Drying is complete, I think. Branches were hung and dried for 8 days in a consistent 68F (20C) 40% RH. They were determined to be dried after hearing a snap when bending (not breaking) large stems and buds felt dry to touch. Sugar leaves bordering on crispy while buds still had some give / fluffiness. The flowers from previously manicured branches were relatively easily plucked. However, the dry trimming process for the unmanicured branches proved to be a bit of a pain. They have been placed in a pyrex container to cure. I'm hoping flavors and aromas that are currently lacking will develop in time. 🤞 --- Stats --- Veg time: ~45 days. Flowering time: ~60 days. Height ~18in., ~46cm. Main Bud Length: ~9in., 23cm. Harvested 16 Hangable branches and a few extra medium/small buds. Bud Wet Weight, with stems: 242g, ~8.5oz. Larf/Popcorn Sugar-leaf Wet Weight (not counted above): 18g, ~0.6oz. Leaf/Waste Wet Weight: 38g, ~1.3oz. Drying time: 8 days. Dried Weight with Stems: 70g, ~2oz. Trimmed and Dried Total Bud Weight: 50g, ~1.75oz. --- Thoughts in hindsight --- Firstly, I can't believe I haven't tried growing sooner. So rewarding in so many ways! My initial hope was to harvest an oz., so I am obviously quite happy we could surpass that mark by a good margin. This is a testament to the plant more than me of course, as I was completely inexperienced and was purposefully as hands-off as I could be comfortable with throughout her growth. I can only imagine things will improve with time. Paper-towel germination seems to be prone to more stress for myself and arguably the seedling as well. Floating in 1% H2O2 solution seems to be ideal for me. I made bad soil choices. This mixture seemed to be too dense, leading to some watering/strangulation issues mid-growth. My 2nd grow consisting of mostly coco coir seems healthier and seems easier to maintain proper hydration. Coco might also be reusable while this soil definitely seems spent now. I didn't respect pH at first and initial testing was eye-opening. That said, after simply testing water and fertilizer readings a few times, I gradually felt more comfortable with guestimating during most feedings, only testing sporadically later in her life cycle. This seemed to be fine and was a bit of a relief after early testing proved tedious every feed. I've been happy with Better-Gro orchid fertilizer. This is of course contrary to most advice, which I admit is probably for good reason. That said though, I didn't notice any major toxicities or deficiencies during her grow. So, these products seem to have worked for me and are so much more affordable than cannabis-specific fertilizers. I was quite weary about not having cal-mag, but this never seemed to be an issue in this particular case. However, I'll be keeping a similar eye on my 2nd grow in coco, which I understand may need it. Training and pruning is important. This plant was quite bushy and wild likely resulting in quite a bit of unnecessary larf/popcorn. Not to mention the additional time needed to trim when harvesting. Also regarding training, pipe cleaners can leave noticeable cuts in the stem they hold. Thickly coated flexible garden wire would likely be ideal. I need to get a loupe or magnifying attachment for the phone. Digital zoom with shaky hands is not great for checking trichomes and my 3x magnifying glass just doesn't cut it. I cannot speak toward potency or yield without more experience, but simply for the sake of a greener hue, I think I could've harvested her a week earlier. Because I left a few branches untended during dry, I was able to experience both the wet and dry trimming processes. Unless keeping leaves for extra humidity during drying, I seem to prefer wet trimming as the still supple leaves were easier to remove with less bud handling. Que pasa familia, puesto que la compañera y yo estamos bajo mínimos, hemos decidido proceder a un lavado de raíces temprano, y un estrés hídrico para limpiar raíces y estresarla un poco. Todo va sobre ruedas , puesto que el Covid afecta al confinamiento, decidimos cortar las gorillas estos días siguientes para secar y en nada tener algún bote para subsistir 😂🤣. -El estrés hídrico es reducir cada riego la cantidad de agua, para que la planta se estrese y escupa tricomas sus últimos días. Esta variedad de sweet seeds es INCREÍBLE, aun cortándola pronto me parece que los resultados son inmejorables, su olor a melón me encanta y se ve repleta de thc. Nos vemos en la cosecha fumetillas, y mucho ánimo para todos.

She is very oily velvety rub and smells very grapey. Only downside is it's very lanky even some air and silica it's lanky lol. Whatever maybe ill clone and cross it just for its taste.

Hello one and all , happy growing. This week I switched to bloom nutes and the girls have reacted well. The Shogun line up has worked a treat , with no issues since the beginning. There have been a few amputees ,as my mainlining adventures have taken me down the broken-stem-rabbit hole. As many of you know these are resilient creatures and have bounced back but not without a major loss of yield , come harvest. I’m at odds with myself as I find it almost impossible NOT to try LST/HST/ tying down etc. Something has to give and eventually I’ll have to be surgical with my treatment of my beauties. Hi all growers, Day 64 Last week of big bud and last two week of fertilising, then two week opf flushing for the baby. I decided to add calmag to reach a ggod ppm, and aptis regulator because olants are really stressed from the olight intensity in some spoot and i hope to make it stronger. Let's see what's happen now. Day 66 She absolutely needed calmag. I gave 0,5/1lt twice and I already can see the difference in leaves. I think I ll give 0,7/1lt next time. I broghut ppm to 950 last time. I desire 1000 ppm for last weeks of fertilising. today: with ph 7 Ppm 1150 Day 69 Today has been the last feeding day for this lady, i just checked with a micro and it looks like i ve got 15/20 days max left. So from day 71 i'll start flushing with ph controlled water at 6.2. today: -ph 7 ppm 1050 Less then 3 weeks now :) ANY SUGGESTION IS WELCOME :)
